Trashing Joe the Plumber

“Joe the Plumber” helps to explain why Americans are so turned off by politics — and why they are so reluctant to run for office, even against incumbents who deserved to be kicked to the curb.

Joe Wurzelbacher, a plumber from Holland, Ohio, complains that the media has invaded his personal life and made it difficult for him to work. “The media’s worried about whether I’ve paid my taxes, they’re worried about any number of silly things that have nothing to do with America,” Wurzelbacher said on Mike Huckabee’s Fox News talk show Saturday. He was also demeaned, he said, by criticism posted online.

The Left tore into Wurzelbacher after he expressed concerns that Obama’s tax proposals could keep him from buying the small plumbing company where he worked. John McCain mentioned him in the final debate with Obama, setting up the feeding frenzy into whether he’d paid his taxes, whether he was really a licensed plumber and anything else that might have diminished his appeal — the same thing that had been done to Sarah Palin. Palin, by accepting the vice presidential nomination, asked for the attention. Joe didn’t.

“You know, I am a plumber,” said Joe the plumber, “just a plumber…when you can’t ask a question of your leaders anymore, that gets scary.”

On two other political notes:

  • Pray that Barack Obama wins or loses Ohio by more than 200,000 votes. The U.S. Supreme Court’s decision to let the Democratic Secretary of State take a pass on verifying about that many new voter applications containing discrepencies means another close election there will keep this campaign going for four more years.

  • Obama first agreed to abide by public campaign finance limitations and then changed his mind. Good political decision. He’s now raised more than $605 million and is able to outspend McCain 4-1 and 5-1 buying commercials in battleground states. The “dam has broken” for future White House races, said John McCain.

The only reason people are giving Joe a hard time is he is white. If Obama were white no one would say a word.

You step into the ring, and throw a punch, you’re going to get hit back! McCain is using him and he likes the limelight as long as it is on his terms. When you’re thrust into the limelight, your life is illuminated.

He presented himself as an everyday Joe. Is he really? All Joe’s don’t have tax liens and are stating that they want to buy a business. Has he come out and stated that he’d get a tax break from Obama’s tax plan? If he buys the business, isn’t the tax on the net (after expenses)?

Such as claiming that any questioning of the actions of the Executive Branch of the federal government is “treason” and that the questioner must be a “traitor”?

That kind of “scary”? The kind we’ve had for the past 8 years?

That kind?

But Stupid Joe is NOT a plumber. Any more than McCrash is a hero. Both represent the insidious phoniness that pervades America today. Examples of that which uneducated, goose-stepping Repugs latch onto midst their ever-increasing hatred, bitterness, and personal failures. And as long as people like you tune in to people like Huckabee, you will remain deep within the shadows of ignorance, darkness, intolerance - always further destroying the fabric of this nation. How is it possible that you can watch the evangelical madness of a Huckabee, with a straight face? How is it possible that you can be so naive and close-minded at your age??

Good morning all. The “politics of personal destruction” is a first derivative of the cultism that is the modern left. Joe’s questions were unanswerable. Rather than address the issue, the leftists attempt to destroy the one who dares to ask. This is a multi-generational trait of national socialists. Thus the Orwellian “fairness doctrine” in which the government imposes speech on unwilling listeners (as measured by the market.) As a side note, if there were real conservative voices on NPR, such language would not be so laughable.

Thus Bork. Thus Cheney. Thus Gingrich. Thus Palin. Thus Rove. Thus Limbaugh. Thus O’Reilly. Thus Coulter. Thus Hannity. Thus Atwater. Thus Joe the Plumber.

My dissenting notes:

(1) If Obama loses Ohio by one vote, that will prove the inefficacy of vote theft. The left will have no complaint, since the democrat Ohio secretary of state has turned a blind eye to potential fraud. The jbmlaw view is that the Supreme Court ruled correctly. The voters of Ohio deserve the politicians they elect.

(2) I think it fitting that the author of McCain-Feingold should suffer the most severe injury from his wrong-headed legislation. Only idiots would restrict political speech, and contributions are the most telling form of political speech. (With a caveat, that all contributions are transparent, so we know who is bribing our politicians.)

The media has far too much airtime, and far too little brains to fill it with relevancy. 24-hour news channels are the worst thing invented since….well, TV. They beat a dead horse constantly. I don’t know when Anna Nicole Smith’s divorce turned into “breaking news,” for three days straight, but it’s a sign of sheer idiocy. CNN, Fox news, MSNBC….all of them should by haunted by the ghost of Edward R. Murrow.

I LOVE Joe the Plumber! I thought Obama was for the middle-class; I thought he wanted people in the middle-class to succeed or am I mistaken? Maybe Obama just wants Joe to shut up and wait for the Obama tax cuts/credits, the Obama Government run health care, and for Obama to tell Joe how to run his life. Some of us including Joe the Plumber can think for ourselves and run our own lives.

Dear Rode @ 8:40, your analogy is inaccurate. More appropriately, “you step into the ring and you will be assassinated by a hidden gunman.”

Dear GGG @ 8:43, throwing epithets is not the same as asking a question. Not that leftists care about the distinction. Conservatives ask questions, leftists hurl epithets.

What Moron Jim doesn’t tell you is the media likes to dig up dirt on anyone that puts them in the cross-hairs. JTP was treated no differently. When I heard on the news that JTPs has tax problems, I thought it was unnecessary. I’ve had “tax problems” because one client over reported what he paid me. So I got audited, had to pay extra tax on money I never earned, and interests and penalties. So JTP is no different than the rest of us. However, I find it rather hypocritical that JTP whines about his taxes, but doesn’t pay them. As for Palin, she is being questioned about her very limited experience and how she can justify being one step from the presidency. These are not left-wing ‘liberal media’ attacks as the Rethuglicons like to claim, but legitimate questions about qualifications. Just like the Rethuglicon bootlickers at Faux News and talk radio question Obama’s qualifications.

Also, Moron Jim quotes JTP as saying: “You know, I am a plumber,” said Joe the plumber, “just a plumber…when you can’t ask a question of your leaders anymore, that gets scary.”

Again, this is just more of the right-wing Rethuglicon spin machine in hyper-drive. First, JTP is not ‘just a plumber’; he put himself in the spot light so now he’s a national rep for McCain and the Rethuglicons. Second, he creates this specious straw man that all he was doing was asking a question. That’s cr@p. He was bating Obama by saying his plan would ‘raise his taxes.’ He could have asked more directly how he would fare under Obama’s plan; would he pay more or less. Instead, he used it as an opportunity to bait Obama. Clearly, JTP is a Rethuglicon shill who acts all hurt when the glare of the media becomes too bright or too hot. It’s not about asking a question.

When you vote Rethuglicon, you vote against your own best interests. And spinning JTP into some folk hero is living proof.

“Joe,” you asked your question, and Sen. Obama took the time to talk with you. It was not his campaign who published the interaction, and it was Fox news and John McCain who put you on national TV.

Would anyone on the street be able to ask a question of Gov. Palin? That’s what’s scary. She doesn’t answer anyone’s questions, she just changes the subject and she has never had an open press conference.

Ok boys…if it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, it just may be a duck.

Mr. Obama has a closet full of skeletons and a machine so powerful, he overturned the Clintons. Does this not seem unusual to anyone on the left? The Clintons are our Kennedys. Obama was a completely unknown politician who happens to have raised scads more money than any politician in history. Not to mention he has done this with only just under half of the nation supporting his run, and in a huge economic downturn.

Mr. McCain has a record, Ms. Palin has a record, heck Mr. Biden has a record, all of which are worthy of standing up to the scrutiny we should be subjecting on those that wish to lead us. Every “dirty little secret” in Ms. Palin’s closet has been pulled out and inspected from every angle, yet the only thing that seems to stick is that “she’s not ready to be President”. Well, she is not running for President. And, her experience is certainly in the same category as Mr. Obama’s who is running for President.

Mr. Obama has left us in a wake of schmooze and rhetoric, with a warehouse full of unexplained situations. Pelosi, Reed and the rest (including the Clintons) are protecting this warehouse. As American’s we should all wonder why any politician would get a pass this strong. What is the motivation for protecting this candidate from the scrutiny of those he wishes to lead. At the end of the day, the man we elect on Nov. 4 will be our employee. Would you not do a background check on an employee that had the ability to sign your checkbook?

If you want to join us, you know where to find us…

Well, this poor Joe the Plumber guy done been put thru the wringer. The librul Democrats took out after him and told everyone he didn’t have a plumber’s liscence and owed back taxes to boot. You got to feel sorry for anyone that makes $40,000, is a tax cheat, and worrys about getting a tax increase when he starts making $250,000, which will be when he’s about 190 years old. The missus says it’s all a bunch of hooey. Says he don’t pay his taxes now, so why worry about them when he starts making more money?

Anyhow, it ain’t fair for this Obama to take in so much more money than old man McCain. There must be about 100 million people giving money to Obama and maybe 50,000 give to McCain. What kind of country are we living in, when so many more people support Obama? Who is a Terrist and a towelhead and pals around with real bad people. There ought to be a law saying you have to give a equal amount of money to both canadates. Well, maybe a little more to the Rupublican canadate than to the librul Democrat canadate.

It sure looks like this Obama done bought the election. I see where he is outspending old man McCain 4 to 1. I don’t know what’s wrong with people. Just because of a stock market crash and no jobs and a big national debt and high prices and a couple wars, they want to throw the Party of God out and put the heathens in. Which will mean Sister Dusty and Raghead Dumbkoff done wasted their vote for old man McCain.

All I got to say is old man McCain better come out with that picture of Obama and Osama and that sheep in bed together soon. Otherwise he’s going to have to wear his underwear where his head is now, he will get kicked so bad.

Have a good day everybody. And vote as often as you can if you are Republican. At least three times if this Handel woman don’t strike you from the voter rolls first. Strike a blow for Joe the Plumber. Who is up to his elbows in doo-doo about now and worryed about how big them unpaid taxes is going to get and weather the state is going to make him get a liscence.

Ohio can go to McCain and McCain can still lose big. He’s losing in traditionally red states. There’s even a possibility that he can lose in Georgia. That’s the bigger problem for McCain- not just fake registrations that cannot count as actual votes.

But the biggest problem is that Obama is campaigning almost exclusively in red states. And he hauled in $150 Million in one month. And in a red state, he brought in over 150,000 people to come see him. And Colin Powell, arguably the biggest name in the Republican Party, endorsed Obama.

All of that is bigger than what some wanna-be plumber thinks…especially when it’s been proven that that same wanna-be plumber would do better with the Obama plan than the McCain plan.

Yes Jim, the Left has hit Poor Joe hard……… WHY ?

He doesn’t represent anyone……well maybe the folks like Sarah Palin, who are not paying taxes, or a guy claiming to be something he is not, like a plumber without a license.

The guy has never made close to $250 K per year, and I think it is wonderful that he can dream, but he does not having his ducks in a row financially, meaning that is all he does is dream….!

Maybe he is a legend in his own mind. Anyway poor Joe was USED and Abused by McCain, put in the spot light by McCain, and all his notoriety comes, because of McCain.

Too bad McCain didn’t find a fellow who paid his taxes, and actually was a licensed plumber, a guy who actually owns a business…….!

Instead McCain picked a guy with a “Pipe Dream” instead………kind of like what he did when he Picked Sarah Palin !

He and Poor Joe are both living in a Pipe dream !

Poor Jim missing the points yet AGAIN…….. AND Colin Powell made the Point……..

Republican’s should NOT be Picking the next group of Supreme Court Justices !

By the way Jim, if you think George Bush, or Dick Cheney would entertain this guy, and make any policy having to do with such a guy……… HA HA HA HA !!!!!!

They are too busy blowing up stuff, and raping the treasury for little people to matter !

Nobody stopped Joe from asking his question—-what is he whining about? And Obama gave a direct answer to his highly-hypothetical question—-there was no “tap dancing”. I feel sorry for Joe the Plumber. He asks a simple question of a candidate which concerns him, it wakes up America and the liberals have a field day trying to bring him down. Joe the Plumber is an average middle class citizen like most Americans. The liberals have treated him like a terrorist. I think they are worried about how he swayed the independents since the polls showed McCain moving up in the polls.

I expect him to move up more since Jerome Corsi is back in the states. He brought back some interesting stuff from Kenya on Obama and Odinga (you know, his cousin). I think he will be on Hannity tonight.

Dear Joe The Plumber,

Both candidates really seemed to care a lot about your situation. I would like to point out that I do not. I don’t care what you have to say. You are stupid, uninformed, and dishonest. I deduced this because you argued with Obama on a false premise (that you make over $250,000 annually), you lied about your “undecided” status - you clearly favor McCain, and you are a plumber. Politicians and lawyers are known to be liars, but I think we have all been CONNED by one plumber too many to go for this line of reasoning.

I would like to say to the HONEST plumbers of the world, don’t be offended. Some of you are honest and the overwhelming majority are hard working. But you know many of your brethren like to take advantage of people when their toilets are leaking. And in the Bush economy, who can blame you? It is getting tough to make a buck out there.

So Joe, take a hike. And when your taxes are REDUCED by Obama - I hope you enjoy it. Buy yourself some more Sean Hannity books. It has clearly led you to be very well informed.

I say good day.

Well Jim talking about “Trashing Joe the Plumber”…..we have more trash we learned about today………

WASHINGTON – Freddie Mac secretly paid a Republican consulting firm $2 million to kill legislation that would have regulated and trimmed the mortgage finance giant and its sister company, Fannie Mae, three years before the government took control to prevent their collapse.

In the cross hairs of the campaign carried out by DCI of Washington were Republican senators and a regulatory overhaul bill sponsored by Sen. Chuck Hagel, R-Neb. DCI’s chief executive is Doug Goodyear, whom John McCain’s campaign later hired to manage the GOP convention in September.

Here is the INTERESTING PART Jim………

Before 2004, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac were Democratic strongholds. After 2004, Republicans ran their political operations. McLoughlin, who joined Freddie Mac in 2004 as chief of staff, has given $32,250 to Republican candidates over the years, including $2,800 to McCain, and has given none to Democrats, according to the Center for Responsive Politics, a nonpartisan group that tracks money in politics.

I guess MORE bad News for the REPUBLICANS !

Well, I have to laugh at some of the desperation coming from Jim and his trolls so early today. Had the McBush camp not place Joe the Dumber into the national spotlight this would not have become an issue. but let’s examine some facts:

Joe’s not really a plumber he’s simply what most people would call a tech. He has no license and works from the aupsices of his boss’ license. Not a thing in the world wrong with that but simply put, without that license even if he buys the business he STILL has to keep a licensed plumber staffed to run that business.

He is in arrears on taxes.

It’s quite possible that he’s related to Robert Wurzelbacher who did time in prison for his role in the Keating 5 scandals.

If you go out as a Republic plant to ask a question based on nonsensical Lush Rimshot talking points and the campaign that you’re supporting uses you it seems to be a reasonable expectation that you’ll get some scrutiny.

On to other matters of import, it seems that once again McCarthyism is alive and well in the person of Republic Rep. Michelle Bachmann of Minnesota.

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2008/10/17/gop-rep-channels-mccarthyn135735.html

Watch the video, see for yourself.

If this is what the Republic’s are going to give us then it’s time for all of them to go. McCarthyism turned into a horrible stain upon our country and that’s not something we need again.

How do you think they cover these costs??? They roll them into the expenses accrued by insured patients. joe is definitely a republican, because like all republicans he can dish out but he sure can’t take it. a sheep in wolf’s clothing. and when something doesn’t go exactly as he wanted it to, then he blames the media. the same media that he made sure to use for his benefit in the first place. it was a cowardly ambush attack by the guy who wants to act tough but is now acting like a wussy. but what he did made me admire obama, because obama stood there and talked to him, even though joe with his hands on his hips and posturing towards obama like he just wanted to punch that uppity ‘n-word’. obama heard him out and tried to explain things to him. turns out joe was completely wrong in his assertions, but remember that’s the media’s fault not joe’s. republicans are not good at accepting responsiblity for their own actions like the real men they always claim to be. but obama talked to guy, you will never see mccain or palin talk to someone that is on the other side, never. theirs is an exclusive club. anyone that doesn’t fall in line and immediately believe what they are told to believe will have their reputations smeared through name calling and scare tactics. be thankful that we have the media in america that we have, there are a lot of people in a lot of countries that complain about the media too, but it’s for a different reason, it’s because they don’t have a real media. they have state sponsored medias like tass, pravda and things similar to fox news. and without a woodward or a bernstein, these people have no freedom and are controlled and suppressed by their totalitarian governments. that’s what some want here, i don’t, i love my country and desperately want what our founding fathers wanted.

Why all the economic ignorance in this country? Even if someone making $40K does have his federal income taxes reduced by Obama, this will be more than offset by the rise in the price of consumer goods due to the increased taxation of businesses large and small. Regarding the big businesses, they may very well decide that it’s not in their best interest to operate out of the US anymore and move overseas. This will raise unemployment and increase entitlements while lowering tax revenue. These same socialist policies have killed economies throughout Europe. Please someone logically explain why this would work here.

And seriously, Jim. “McCain mentioned him” in the debate? Are you kidding me? Yeah, he mentioned him…Something like 21 times in a 90-minute debate. Cut out the moderator’s speaking time, then divide the remainder between the two candidates, and McCain averaged one JoeThePlumber mention every two minutes or so. It was McCain who decided to make this guy the hood ornament on the “Straight Talk With 100 Percent Negative, Lie-Filled Campaign Ads Express”. I looked at an itemized statement from my last hospital visit, and was boggled… Saline Solution… Salt and Distilled water, something I used to make by the gallon for chem labs, $40.00 *A BAG… You wonder why your healthcare costs are through the roof, This is why!

Here we go—the real voter fraud people—the Wootens, the Handels, the Eric Johnsons are swinging into action.

As expected Republicans are digging up illegal voters in droves. The illegal vote cage machine by Handel now under investigation by Mukasey’s derilect DOJ doesn’t mention the Republican voter fraud that has become pandemic in addition to the hail mary (and ineffectual) Robo calls trying to link Obama to terrorism based on the infrastructure of the Republican mind—pure bread ignorance.

SACRAMENTO — The owner of a firm that the California Republican Party hired to register tens of thousands of voters this year was arrested in Ontario over the weekend on suspicion of voter registration fraud.

State and local investigators allege that Mark Jacoby fraudulently registered himself to vote at a childhood California address where he no longer lives so he would appear to meet the legal requirement that all signature gatherers be eligible to vote in California. His firm, Young Political Majors, or YPM, collects petition signatures and registers voters in California and other states.

The firm was paid $7 to $12 for every Californian it registered as a member of the GOP.

It is not known at this time in Jacoby is connected to Handel and Johnson and several members of the Buckhead club.

Stay tuned.

a true patriot cares about election fraud whenever it happens, not just when your own guy is losing. to hear the same people complain about acorn but they had absolutely no problem with jeb bush, katherine harris and that florida crap from 2000 is totally hypocritical and very un-american. you know the difference this time? when a democrat is winning we hear about fraud 3 weeks before election, with a republican you hear about at election time and after the election. acorn has been identified early, the problem has been identified in enough time for us to be aware of it and be able to correct the problem. acorn is not a threat now. but something like another florida ‘on’ election night is a threat, a threat to or democracy. and the socialism brought to us in this bailout caused and backed by republicans is also a socialist threat to our democracy.

Good morning,Joe will survive to plumb another day..I figure he asked a hypothetical question and got a hypothetical answer. He’s had a little more than his allotted 15 minutes in the limelight that he wasn’t counting on.He’ll be sadder but wiser for it.

Colin Powell got his job that he was seeking. Is he the same Colin Powell that got confused about the weapons of mass destruction in Iraq? How soon the Lefties forget. He’ll be up for sainthood soon. What kind of change is this,Mr.Obama?

Winning in Ohio by less than 200,000 won’t mean a thing.

Tomorrow the insurers of Lehman Brothers debt are going to confess that they were only in it for the profits and announce that they really had no contingency plans to pay off any debt. This will cause a group of banks to fail and the government ,that’s we taxpayers, will be on the hook for more billions. Some estimates are as high as 400 of those billions.Add this figure to what’s already been confessed to.There’s more out there.

Condoleeza Rice is the only holdout.Time is getting short for her stake in the Obama regime. She’d better bail out of the boat now.

cc, would you like to repeat that? The only voter fraud in Florida were poll workers in ultra liberal Miami counting “pregnant chads” as votes for Gore or trying to “interpret” voter intent on ballots. The long history of voter fraud in this country comes from the democrats. The Republicans are the party that supports showing valid id for voting. In case that’s too vague for you, that intended to reduce fraud. Also, Chicago anyone? The political machine in that part of the country is legendary for voter fraud. They stuff more boxes than Dirk Diggler.

Does it not occur to you people that the reason Joe the Plumber is even a story, is because your chosen One erred and in front of a crowd and on tape said that redistributing the wealth was better for everyone? Does it not occur to those of you following blindly that your ears allowed you a sneak peek into the future under the One?

When my taxes go to those that do not contribute, such as the recent “rebate” by Bush, I get motivated to change. If Obama believes that redistribution will be best for the country, you should consider what that means to you (as in ALL of you). Tax the rich and give to those in NEED? News flash, the rich, like Mr. Obama and Mr. McCain will not be paying any higher taxes. As a matter of fact in reported taxes, neither of them paid a significant more than my family did this year, and we made a lot less than both. The middle class and upper middle class small business owners will be shouldering the burden for more non-producers. This will cause a strain and burden that many will find distasteful enough to opt to lay-off workers and slow production, ordering of inventory and raise prices. How will that affect you (again, I mean ALL of you).

We have never laid off anyone in 23 years of owning small businesses, the way things are going, we are going to do so. Our tax burden has become so heavy, our insurance costs (yes we provide health insurance for all of our employees) are soaring, our pay from insurance and government agencies (we are in the health care field) continue to cost more to process with a diminishing return. All of these things that are good for the NEEDY

Southern Democrat,

Perhaps you should go to the Wikipedia and type in ‘political spectrum’ to see where the National Socialist German Workers’ Party fits in…its cultural and economic focus was on the community, individualism was frowned upon and it had a centrally planned economy…all of which would have it dead to the left on the spectrum.

Not paying taxes has nothing to do with America? Gee, I’ve been doing everything wrong the past 14 years of my life then. Joe the Plumber is the anti-American. Just as bad as the illegal immigrants who get paid under the table and don’t contribute to the government by paying their taxes. We live in a country of instant gratification. If you want more, you just get it. GeoffDawg since you didn’t learn it form Reagan and the first Bush and now from Bush and Cheney, I will try to type slowly for you so you can understand something that is all truth, t r i c k l e d o w n e c o n o m i c s DOES NOT WORK! the people at the top just get greedier. and now as we have seen, trickle down economics is such a disaster that it has actually has created full-blown trickle up economics as we have seen without this bailout mess. so if you are for trickle down economics now, you are actually for golden parachutes and socialism for all corporate executives. now take your child out of public school (socialism), don’t ever ask the police, fire dept. or military for help(socialism), don’t drive your car on the road, drink clean water from your tap or flush your toilet (socialism).

and like someone earlier already pointed out. we already have national healthcare. but currently we have something that totally unfair to the few that are working hard and paying into the system. we need a better way to share the costs. and there is absolutely nothing wrong with taking care of Americans, nothing! and just because a U.S. citizen even a honorable discharged veteran needs a little help once in a while that doesn’t automatically make them a bad person or a lazy good for nothing slacker as Republicans always suggest. the Marines had a motto, ‘we take care of our own’. are the Marines a bunch of socialists? there is nothing wrong with making Americans and America stronger. nothing!

Shrugging Atlas,

There will never be room on the bandwagon for me. I wouldn’t want to be on it. I am not a groupie for Obama. He will do nothing for me but take my money that I worked hard for. I think he might be taking yours as well, but you just can’t see that yet. It will be hard to swallow when it happens.
I hope one day, your child brings home a 4.0 gpa in school that she/he worked hard for but the government tells her that it wasn’t fair to the others that didn’t work hard so they are going to redistribute her grades and make everyone have a 3.0 gpa so that they have a chance to get ahead by getting into college. Then maybe you will see the other side. Until then, continue making your low salary that you don’t have to pay taxes on but will still be struggling because the price of everything has risen because of the taxes placed on businesses. Or maybe you will just lose that job of yours and be placed on welfare. Oh that’s right, you will already be on welfare from Obama.

basic - in case you misread it, I said logically explain it to me.

Also, since your economic education probably came from a Terry Mcauliffe sound bite, let me explain to you that the current economic trouble has nothing to do with the failure of capitalism or supply side economics. This is a clear example of what happens when government interferes with the free market. When businesses succeed and fail on their own merits, they are much more likely to exercise caution and act with financial responsibility. Corporate welfare gets the same result as individual welfare - when you know the government is going to come along and bail you out no matter what you do, then you have no motivation to temper high risk ventures. If the government hadn’t interfered in the first place, this wouldn’t be happening now and with the bailout, that just means it’s probably going to happend again in the future when another bubble bursts.

Why all this damning of Joe? He asked a simple question and BHO slipped and exposed his socialist leanings. No big deal.

BHO’s has always been a bit of a Marxist and most are fine with that.

Why shouldn’t we let the Government control most of our money anyway?

I can see in the near future, BHO spending more of the money he doesn’t have on more and more socialistic type programs - whether we can afford it or not.

Between free health care, free college, free heating oil (if you are poor) from his pal Hugo, better trade with Raul, we will be sitting on top of the world, with the world bowing to “The One”.

I can tellyou several entitlement programs that have hurt this country greatly and they were all created by the people who claim they hate socialism the most. the Republicans. those entitlement programs? the oil industry, Iraq, illegal immigration, the Wall Street bailout. the oil industry for one has caused people to lose more money out of their household income than any Democratic tax plan will ever take from them. the oil industry has manipulated money out of every Americans pockets many times more than fixing our healthcare system will take. but we support them with ignorant Nuremberg parade ground type chants of ‘drill, baby, drill’. that was the dumbest thing I’ve seen in a long time.

Dear Mr. Wooten:

I don’t think you remember how this “Joe” business started or you would not have written what you did.

“Joe” approached Senator Obama and presented himself as a plumber (he is not), ssid he is going to buy a business (which he is not) and then proclaimed that Senator Obama’s tax plan would hurt him (which it will not). “Joe’s assertion that he was going to buy a business led me to believe that Joe was earning a salary (which he is not) that would exceed Senator Obama’s cut off point for exemption from a tax increase.

“Joe” brought this upon himself and Senator McCain’s campaign experts jumped in with both feet before taking a closer look at Joe.

“Joe”, the bizarre plan to hide the republican VP nominee and cede valuable free network exposure to the democrat VP nominee and the negative campaign ads are but three blunders that the campaign pundits will long talk about.

This weekend I ran into the FIRST voter who encouraged me to vote for Senator McCain because of his merits. To that point, every voter who has expressed an opinion to me has expressed the opinion that we must vote against Senator Obama rather than for Senator McCain. It has been a rare voter who has encouraged me to vote against Senator McCain as those voters seem to be voting for Senator Obama rather than against Senator McCain.

Wooten Trying to Perpetuate Trashing the Country

Shaky unstable McCain, who has a manic temper has changed position by the hour. Obama is running against Bush. McCain has supported every Bush policy and has flip flopped completely on the 2-3 policies that he opposed Bush for. Orinally the failed “maverick” opposed Bush on climate change, torture, and tax cuts that have caused this government to bgo broke while hemorrhaging 3 trillion into the Iraq fiasco.

McCain’s chaotic rambling response to the impending Great Depression has been in the words of Frank Rich sheer, unmitigated panic which has been:

“Fire the S.E.C. chairman and replace him with Andrew Cuomo! Convene a 9/11 commission to save Wall Street! Don’t bail out A.I.G.! Do bail out A.I.G.! Reacting to polls and the short-term dictates of 24-hour news cycles, McCain offered as many economic-policy reboots in a month as Bush offered “Plans for Victory” during the first three years of the Iraq war.”

His torture proposal opposition is a joke; McCain voted against a ban on waterboarding recently. Wooten omits or doesn’t understand that fact. McCain’s BFF Lindsay Graham pushed not applying the Army Field manual to CIA torture techniques. McCain was against waterboarding before he was for it pure and simple.

For multiple election cycles, the strategy well known and embedded in Handel, Johnson, and Wooten and the soon to lose Michael Meyer von Bremman (who has tried to destroy every shred of the Defender system in Georgia because he forgot his Con Law course and Ruthie Ginsberg and her law clerk’s opinion and is violating it in Georgia pushing Georgia towards a federal takeover of its court system soon) has been the Southern Strategy of Lee Atwater. Intrinsic in that system is to always charge the Dems with voter fraud, railing delusionally about “prisoners voting” (they actually can vote now in about 6 states including Florida and Alabama and in Georgia anyone who completes a sentence can vote although Handel, who only completed high school, and her incurious makeup shows, is very confused about election law as is the Georgia AG.

If Joe the Plumber feels media intrusion which was totally invoked by John McPalin has intruded his life, he should sue McCain who has been the persistent source of conflation using Sam aka Joe as his failed metaphor.

Joe’s concerns about Obama’s tax plan, like Wootens were based on ignorance./and or the intentional desire to distort Obama’s tax plan like the Robo calls.

We need to emphasize something Wooten will not. All of these campagin promises, and all of those since Wooten was 10, would have to pass a very recalcitant Congress whether the Dems achieve a veto-proof majority or not.

The attention on Joe the Plumber is not perpetuated by the left—who is winning many Bush states now because the massive Joes and Jodies who work with their hands in blue collar jobs or work in white collar jobs have had it with the law breaking lying from the Republican administration and their shills who continue like Wooten, to think people are stupid and don’t read.

Wooten has shown a penchant for hilariously believing his superficial University of Georgia education entitles him to condescend towards Dems as “Springer afficianados.”

What would be best is if Cox wants to continue to bestow welfare on Wooten that a remedial reading program with comprehensive testing be set up so that Wooten gets a competent history and political science course instead of the revisionist delusional history he has been spewing. Wooten should be made to read newspapers with national reputations and quized on his retention in order to keep his job which is the quintessence of welfare from Cox.

1) Sam aka Joe was given every opportunity to directly ask questions of Obama and Obama has answered them to his face and in the last debate and on numerous websites.

2) Wooten continues to ignore the legal help that could be provided to him by AJC’s and Cox’s very expensive law firms including AJC’s own Dow, Lohnes & Albertson.

The Rethugs are now trying to disenfranchise those 200,000 voters in the Ohio Supreme Court. The effort will fail and waste more money and time.

What Wooten and Handel and Assistant AG Dunn refuse to acknowledge is that the vast majority and I mean 99% of mismatches on those federal lists are due to computer errors, typos, and plain stupidity on the part of the bureucrats who composed the lists, much like the moronic TSA lists by DHS which now has 500,000 people on it which extrapolates to over a million people on the No-Fly lists because of duplication of the original mistakes.

This is all going on while only 5.8% of the passenger plane cargo is inspected via X-Ray or other imaging means like CAT scans in some airports.

This campaign will not “go on” past November 5 much to Wooten’s disappointment but Wooten and his homies will continue to kvetch and delude themselves.

The reason they are losing and people are early voting legitimately in droves is that they are rejectig the failed and deadly policies of the Bush administraiton and Republicans in general.

Although Wooten is afraid to address it, right here in Georgia Sonny Purdue who has a vet degree has stupidly wasted a few million dollars purchasing Tamiflu. Anyone with a medical IQ of 3 knows that the medical literature is replete with multicentered studies that show that Tamiflu has no efficacy whatsoever against mutating H5N1 but that didn’t stop ignorant Sonny and ignorant Georgia from wasting the money. In fact, Tamiflu and the three other antivirals approved by the US over the last 25 years increase resistance to a pandemic H5N1 strain, but Georgia has been increasing resistance as a tradition with rampant inappropriate antibiotic prescribing and inappropriate antiviral prescribing anyway. Welcome to stupidity.

McCain can’t raise as much money as Obama because people are sick of the pushing 5000 completely wasted lives in Iraq and the stupid policy in Afghanistan and fork lifts dumping their hard earned money literally in Iraq. The Iraq fiasco has cost three trillion and counting, and McPalin has consistently opposed funding vet benefits—either medical or educational. Contrary to the Republican mantra, the VAH hospitals are reprehensibly flawed when it comes to consistently high quality care, and many of the medical problems of returning vets are either not treated at all or are poorly treated.

Wooten’s moron of a VP candidate, Moroncuda Palin has pranced around saying that it’s not patriotic to pay the taxes to fund the wars she wants to continue on an open ended basis, and she’s put that into practice. Currently Palin failed to report her $17,000 per diem claims.

Palin answered as many questions on Saturday Night Live as she has or will during the campaign. It was the height of cynicism and patently stupid of McCain to choose Palin and it’s helping to defeat the Republican ticket and the down ticket races.

**Voters are legitimately rejecting the lying and stupid policies of a stupid President that have systemically damaged this country and permeated every agency in this government. Republicans elevated Kstret bribery and illegal influence peddling to an unprecedented level. Stop crying Wooten and start realizing that the dishonesty, wasted money, lack of leadership, and failures are what are defeating McCain. He did next to nothing to stop any of the failures and in those few areas where he opposed the Bush administration at first he has flip flopped many many times.

First of all, blacks on this site shouldn’t have an opinion! They are only voting for Osama because the color of his skin. You liberals only hear what you want to, but the facts are clear as day when they say Osama is going to raise taxes, he is going to raise taxes. Joe ask a simple question and Osama clearly stated that he will make sure that all your hard work will be spread to all the people (blacks) who don’t work hard. Equals WELFARE!!! Also, Powell just committed political suicide, he’s such a loser now. Osama will ruin this country beyond repair! Small business in this country will no longer exist under the Osama tax plan, which equals more unemployed people, which equals higher unemployment. The only change we will have under the Osama plan is everything that we enjoy now will be gone. Democrats should be gathered up and shot! All of them! If Osama gets elected the blacks can’t blame the man anymore because the man will be one of them. In your face! Osama will raise taxes, make the gov’t involved with everything we do, leave the country unsafe from terrorist attacks and leave us in a even more economic crisis that we will never get out of. MCCAIN is the only choice! Osama can go back to the hell hole he came from CHICAGO!

Visualize Colin Powell advising Barack Obama and the two solving critical international issues as a team - does it feel like they would make a positive difference in diplomacy and respect?

In nine hours we went from Palin on Saturday Night - to Colin Powell on Meet The Press Sunday morning. You do the math. The election of McCain and Palin will earn The United States international respect equal to a 4 minute skit on SNL. That is no joke.

It is time for a measured, analytical and intelligent approach to issues

McCain and Palin can always be regular guests on The Joe The Plumber Show on Fox News

October 20, 2008 11:26 AM | Link to this

Thank you Mrs.. Rand, I however have no sympathy for you and your kind. You paid high taxes because you made a lot of money. You also fail to see that under Obama’s plan, as a small business you will get more tax rebates and incentives to hire people then you would under McSame. You are just too partisan to see that. And to correct your misinformed point, it has been your party that has bled us dry for the last eight years.

Also, for you and Ragnar, Ayn Rand was wrong! In Atlas Shrugged , she details her theory that capitalists, like her hero, John Galt–those out to make a buck–create all the value in the world, and the rest of us are just freeloaders. To Ayn Rand and all her libertarian, neoconservative soul brothers at the Cato and Manhattan institutes, the people who create value and prosperity in this world are the Bill Gateses. Government is at best a necessary evil, there just to tidy up the manly work done by the capitalists.

Now this makes sense to sophomores in college, Jim, Dusty, and Ragnar, but it’s just flat wrong. The world we live in rests on a vast system of publicly funded (and usually publicly built) infrastructure. Sure, people start companies and do good things. But they use workers who receive public education, and they get places on highways, planes and subways that government has either built or massively subsidized. The free market doesn’t create infrastructure, at least not very well. John Galt and the other capitalists in Atlas Shrugged depend on government to build a transportation infrastructure for them, educate their workers, and create a legal system that allows them to buy and sell. Government creates the infrastructure of capitalism: physical, intellectual and legal.

The good news is that Obama gets it. The bad news is you and most of your party still have their heads in the sand, or should I say up the Bush’s butt.

A proper understanding of history that everywhere the left gains power, people are murdered in huge numbers.

Everywhere. Including here.

In Nazi Germany the left killed 13 million, including the Six Million, on top of war casualties.

In Russia the left killed (per Solzhenitsyn) some sixty million.

In China the left killed fifty to 100 million.

Here in the US they’ve killed an average of 1.5 million a year for the last 35 years.

It is in my best interest as a human being to stop that. This is why I am a Republican.

And those leftist Nazis who call us “rethuglicans” while cheerleading prenatal genocide simply put on the brown shirts of their predecessors.

So, just because someone got a chance to ask a question of Senator Obama about his plan he is seeking the limelight? Yeah, right. Keying in on what he said is one thing but investigating his personal life is another. And what is an everyday joe to you? Because he is a small business owner he isn’t an everyday joe? see Dutchman, that’s the kind of crap that I can’t stand from the closed minded Republican party that is hurting this country. I never said I was against using oil or drilling for it. but because I identified the oil industry as the scumbags they are, I must be a liberal or witch. use our oil, use our natural gas, use our coal. but we have too few eggs in our basket right now. we need to use solar, wind, hydro electric, wave energy, hydrogen, be smart about using nuclear energy. we need to use it all. but to have a company called ExxonMobil is just an absolute disgrace. they should be two companies, give us more market competition and truly being a capitalist economy instead of a corporatism based economy. but oil is not the ONLY answer. and the way the oil companies have been screwing this country is totally un-American and totally un-Christian. to completely and blindly support something that has done so much harm to this country is stupid. just plain stupid. sure use our oil, I’m all for it. but the people who are supporting green technologies and renewable energy sources are the greatest patriots we have in our country today. because they can see what is happening and because they want to help this country get better, be more self-sufficient. but people like you would call them bed-wetters or tree-huggers. further supporting the oil companies that hurt this country so much. no commodity in this country should fluctuate in price as much as oil, nothing! not bread, not milk, nothing! not even the price of illegal drugs fluctuate in price that much. when something goes from 4.40 cents a gallon and then in a couple of weeks it’s 2.20 that’s somebody tweaking the system for reasons of greed only with help from people like Bush and Cheney. it’s hurts Americans and it’s wrong. the oil companies have made record profits and the trickle down, it just never happened. the oil companies have monopolized too much of our energy and it’s just plain wrong. so still, drill, baby, drill, is the quickest way to identify and clueless and ignorant person that is perpetuating the pain that most people in this country are feeling right now.

“Blacks shouldn’t have an opinion” from “Steve.” That pure bred hatred and racial bias says it all. Have you and Palin been seen in the same room at the same time?

Your ignorance Steve is a large component of why so many people are coming out to vote for Obama.

And when the real Osama attacked this country, warnings were not translated until 9/12. Bush, the quintissential coward, sat in panic reading to 3rd graders and then flew arond hiding in bunkers instead of returning to Washington. There was no coherent response plan as has been documented by numerous transcripts including the ones in Jim Bamford’s last book before the one released Tuesday that detailed the NSA listening in to sweet talk from soldiers in Iraq and their wives or girlfriends—and listening in illegally with no code section that covered the wiretapping.

The Strategic Air Command and other command centers are on transcripts in utter panic. Cheney’s response was chaotic and in fact, was ignored by the chain of command.

One constructive thing about the “Steves:” Your ignorance is making it much easier to win this election and take several Senate and House seats away from the Rethugs. Keep up your racial prejudice—it’s defeating you.

Let’s defend Joe the Plumber for a moment.

In Ohio you must have 5 years experience to apply for a plumbers license.Since experience doesn’t come via osmosis to anyone except Obama, one expects that a person actually has to work as a plumber for 5 years. As a matter of fact,in Ohio before you can sit for a plumber’s license test you have to prove you have actually worked 5 yeasrs at the trade.

Now,with the 5 year requirement,I feel it is safe to assume that arrangements have been made for individuals to wark as unlicensed plumbers while they obtain their 5 years experience, otherwise all license applicants would have to come from out of state.Fair enough?Joe is innocent of the charge of doing unlicensed plumbing.

It’s the word experience that you lefties are having trouble with, seeing as how your candidate has none.I don’t expect you to recognize the word.Fair enough again?

for all the harm George Bush has done to this country and all the people that have suffered because of him. anyone that voted for him in 2004 can not truly call themselves a Christian or a Patriot. you know why the rpice of gas has gone down so drastically? because the oil execs are very scared that their Republican buddies won’t be re-elected. and remember Dusty, no one group has a monopoly on patriotism, children and family, religion or anything else and it’s shameful and dishonorable to suggest that anyone that doesn’t think exactly like they are told they are supposed to think is a traitor or a liberal or family hater. more scare tactics, more put downs. when people aren’t allowed to be different we don’t have freedom and that’s un-American. and for all you so-called Christians out there, you need to start acting more like Jesus would want you to act. and that’s anything like Sarah Palin is acting. also, did you know that Jesus by his actions was a liberal? a long haired hippy freak liberal too. he cared about the weak and the poor. how ‘bout that entitlement/socialistic program of the bread and the fishes? and do you know what Ponchus Pilate would be considered if he were alive today? a rich Conservative Republican. so every time you put down a liberal you’re also putting down Jesus, remember that.

Unfortunately Barack ‘s choice of words had the effect of confusing wealth with income. Wealth in the form of assets are usually not taxed and there is no plan to start taxing them. Property tax and ad valorem tax are a couple of taxes on wealth that we pay.

However, our income tax structure takes a higher proportion of income from the lower and middle income earners thereby interfering with their ability to accumulate wealth. This is the point that Barack Obama was trying to make to JTP. Let’s lower taxes on the lower and middle income earners so that they will be able to keep more of their money in order to generate wealth.

Yo @ Dusty—

Palin’s nomination is the most vile insult possible. It endangers the American people and in the area that counts right now, it has inspired people like myself to organize drives to insure people get to the polls, got legally registgered, and will vote against the lawbreaking, lying, and incompetence that McCain and Palin represent.

I suggest you check out www.fivethirtyeight.com to see what the results are for people like myself who are making sure that as many people as possible vote early for Obama and Martin, have registered legally eligible and will vote by the time the polls close.

They will be voting on the most incompetent Diebold touch screens possible, in a system administered by a woman mired in ignorance and dedicated to vote caging and supression by her mentor Hans von Spakovsky. Hans von is currently under DOJ investigation as are Handel’s voter supression policy.

Currently the electoral college vote is projected at 343.9 to 194 in Obama’s favor. We are voting against the rampant stupidiy and incompetence because we have to do so to save this country and clean up the unprecedented messes created by incompetent Republicans and Bush. It will take multiple election cycles to clean them up, but we begin with the transition on November 5.

deegee ,

I must disagree.

The folks that are successful and make more than the average are taxed at a higher rate. Recently Cindy McCain disclosed her tax forms and she paid a little over 25% of her income. She listed income of about $4 million and paid $1.13 million in taxes.

The majority of working folks pay little or no taxes.

So if it is okay to tax the top 10% at a rate over 25%, why is it unfair when the middle class pay between 10 and 15% in taxes?

if the GOP wants to blame anyone they need to blame themselves. the Republican Party has messed things up so bad that for the first time in the history of our country a woman and black man have become viable Presidential Candidates. and that’s less about what a woman and minority can do for us and more about how bad the GOP is for America. I mean George Bush is such an idiot I wouldn’t have him mow my lawn. he wouldn’t even come close to getting it right.

Here in Ohio, Joe the Plumber doesn’t need a plumbing license for residential clients.
I’m guessing he listened very carefully to Gov. Palin during the VP debate, when she pointed out that Obama’s plan to raise taxes on $250,000 a year means hurting small businesses. Just this morning I saw two “Joe the Plumber” yard signs in my small Ohio town. People are listening, Joe! Is is indeed scary when a private citizens can’t ask a question on a rope line without being pilloried by the press.

Paying your taxes has nothing to do with being an American? Interesting. It certainly has something to do with obeying the law. I don’t know anyone who would argue with that. As far as the media invading his privacy. Umm, if he doesn’t want to be the focus of the media, why in the world would he be doing press conferences in his front yard and going on Huckabee’s show? Finally, McCain is the one who brought this guy into the political fray, not Obama. In fact, McCain continues his lame attempt to salvage his failing campaign by referencing Joe the Plumber every opportunity he gets. The fact remains that under Senator Obama’s plan, Joe would get a tax cut that he would not receive under McCain’s tax plan.

Poor Joe, smart enough to know he’ll be poorer under OBlahMa. How dare he target The One with his hidden racism! /snark/

Last time I looked Alan Keyes was black.

Let’s take a look at how the leftist media carries OBlahMa’s water for him. In response to any comment or ad put out by the McCain campaign, they follow with:

McCain campaign ad: “Under Raines, Fannie Mae committed ‘extensive financial fraud.’ Raines made millions. Fannie Mae collapsed. Taxpayers? Stuck with the bill. Barack Obama. Bad advice. Bad instincts. Not ready to lead.”

NYT cries foul because it contained “sinister images of two black men, followed by one of a vulnerable-looking elderly white woman.”

Palin mentions OBlahMa’s radical associations:

The AP brands the comment as carrying “a racially tinged subtext.”

And yup! the leftist media are already setting the stage should Americans vote against the marxist OBlahMa. It will have nothing to do with the fact that we are a freedom-loving people….it’ll be because we’re the Average Joe Racist.

Love the title of the article from whence ^^^ those excerpts were drawn. How Obama Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the R-Bomb

OBlahMa let’s others do his dirty work.

So, is Baaa-aaRack ‘em Up a wimp or crusader?

I say wimp!

Sadly OBlahMa’s campaign has prompted a future fiasco for African Americans. But what can ‘ya do if he’s elected Jim? Nuthin’……just sit back and watch it unravel, one government string-along at a time.

Shrugging Atlas——-Let’s take a peek at Joe’s taxes.

I’ve been involved with people like Joe all my life in a variety of capacities. That is,working trades people. As a group they are often in tax disputes because of misinterpretation of tax rules.Sometimes it’s the individual that does something wrong because of a misunderstanding of a particular tax code.Sometimes it’s the IRS that misinterprets the code.Often times W-2’s get misdirected,if an individual works for several contractors during a year. There are many scenarios that can lead to tax difficulties for tradespeople other than just plain refusing to pay taxes. My father once found out that staying on a partiular job for 365 days made you ineligible to claim expense money even though the job was in another state.I once got in a jam because for one particular year I made so much money that I could income average and pay less tax by using a certain tax form. The IRS disagreed with me,but I was eventually proven right. Not everyone employed by the IRS is a tax genius, believe me.

With this in mind,I’ll give Joe a pass on his tax problem.

The Obamamaniacs posting here attack Joe, but that’s because they want people to disregard Obama’s answer: That he wants to redistribute income from those who pay taxes to those who do not. He wants to take from ‘the wealthy’ (Which depends upon the definition of ‘wealthy’, Democrats keep changing the definition depending upon the group they are speaking in front of.) and give to those who don’t work.

We are supposed to promote opening opportunities to all, not punishing those saps who wanted to create a better life for themselves and their kids through hard work and ingenuity. Joe the plummer is also Al the steel worker, Mitch the cop, Susan the accountant and Marge the waitress.

Dear Southern Democrat @ 9:19, actually I thought it was a clever observation of the similarities, and of course there is little that is truly beneath me. But I will respectfully await any distinctions you wish to draw. So long as you will concede that the Nazis did not run concentration camps before they seized power, I will acknowledge that our American National Socialists are also not running concentration camps. Seriously, I continue to affirm that conservatives are the ideology of less intrusive government – less tax, fewer regulations in practically every area of life – I would think it dishonest to suggest otherwise. Our modern day “liberals” are the ones who abuse a historical concept, seemingly willfully ignoring the original meaning of “liberal.” Sort of a living, breathing dictionary I suppose.

I suppose I am under the thrall of one of my favorite leftists right now, Costa-Gavras. Watched his “Amen.” over the weekend, and the similarities – use of threats and character assassination to silence opposition, the massive rallies to “unite” the people against threats interior and exterior, the duplicity in blaming prior governments for their own evil acts – all resonated. I know Costa-Gavras intended that movie as an indictment of the Catholic Church, but he reminded us of the many types of evil that good people refused to recognize. We’re just one Nuremberg rally away.

Joe the Plumber is getting vetted closer by the main stream press in one week than Obama has in 2 years.

Funny.

Regardless of the in your face liberal bent of the main stream press, McCain needs to promise the country something new.

Using the 22cd Amendment to the Constitution as the back drop, McCain should propose a new amendment, placing term limits for the Congress and Senate of the United States.

The greed and corruption that is in control in DC has to stop. The only way of starting to curb this is through TERM LIMITS. It’s a non partisan solution to a decease that controls DC.

Neither party really focuses on We the People, but rather on we the media, or we the globalist, or we the lobbyist. This has to stop, and Term Limits seem to be the only way.

If this Amendment actually made it out of DC, the citizens of each state would ratify it in 2 or 3 years tops. That’s if ACORN doesn’t try to stop in by having Mickey Mouse vote again. The vast majority of the US population feels this way.

5 terms for the Congress. 2 terms for the Senate. And then they go home to actually work for living in the private sector, just like 99% of the rest of us do now.

Joe is your ordinary guy who wants to start his own business. People who own their own plumbing company easily get into six figure incomes (clue for the moronic emotional mad libs: work for and own are two different comparison points). It has been interesting watching the rancid lib dems claim that Joe is just dreaming about owning his own company. Isn’t that so un-American and spiteful, attempting to shoot someone down for starting his own company? Some of the dirtbag lib dems are even going so far as to say that Joe was just a McCain plant. Besides, as anyone who has needed a plumber knows, there is plenty of business for them out there, and some are so busy they don’t even return phone calls. How interesting is it that a blue collar guy, the traditional care factor and focus group of lib dems, gets slammed by the dirty left.

Four years from now, when investment and small business ventures dry up in this nation under a socialist rob from successful Paul to pay lazy Peter, the lib dems will have nobody to blame but themselves; they won’t be able to blame Bush, they won’t be able to blame Rove, and they sure won’t’ be able to blame Joe the Plumber for having his dream snatched away from him. Wny work hard when it would just get taken away and given to someone else to even things out? This nation will truly get what it deserves.

Then there is this news, which should come as a shock to nobody:

DEMS GET SET TO MUZZLE THE RIGHT - SHOULD Barack Obama win the presidency and Democrats take full control of Congress, next year will see a real legislative attempt to bring back the Fairness Doctrine - and to diminish conservatives’ influence on broadcast radio, the one medium they dominate.

The lib dems can silence right wing radio waves, but they’ll never silence right wing blogs. Besides, do you think the lib dems would ask for “fairness” at CNN, ABC, NBC, MSNBC, CBS, The NYT, NPR, etc.? There is a valid reason why lib dems never complain about bias at those institutions, yet seem to only complain about FoxNews and AM talk radio.

Dear Geoffdawg @ 9:35, excellent observation. You earned your “A” in economics. Every time Obama talks about a tax cut for 95% of the people (including the 40% who pay no taxes already) a “truth in politics” disclosure ought to compel him to acknowledge his stated, if unemphasized, intention to raise corporate taxes and taxes on the highest income individuals, resulting in a net reduction of private capital from the expropriation. “Reducing private capital through taxation in a weak economy” ought to ring warning bells for even our least economics-literate voters. @ 10:27, I think I may yield my economics cap to you.

Dear Billy @ 9:38, there was a time that “liberal” was not an epithet – it acquired the pejorative connotation when embraced by Democrats. For the record, I describe myself as the one true liberal on this blog. Of course, you don’t really know what “liberal” means.

Dear TJW @ 9:43, “The medical community are required to treat patients regardless of if they have insurance or are able to pay.” You are correct. Another requirement imposed by the National Socialists.

Dear cc @ 9:46, “to hear the same people complain about acorn but they had absolutely no problem with jeb bush, katherine harris and that florida crap from 2000 is totally hypocritical and very un-american” Actually I was horrified by Al Gore’s attempt to disallow the votes of active military, and by the attempt to recount only selected leftist precincts. I am consistently horrified by the acts of the national socialists.

Dear ron @ 9:56, Gen. Powell is curious indeed. I think his self-loathing statement struck me more, “”I would have difficulty with two more conservative appointments to the Supreme Court, but that’s what we’d be looking at in a McCain administration.” Clearly an endorsement of the leftist positions in Kelo, and Beaumediene and Kennedy. Great argument @ 11:53.

Dear westsider @ 9:59, our friend Southern Democrat does not need me to defend him – and he’ll probably laugh at my sarcastic response here – but we are all trained (1) to argue the facts when the law is against you, (2) to argue the law when the facts are against you, and (3) to confuse the jury when both facts and law are against you. He and I have both been guilty of the latter from time to time.

Dear Shagger @ 9:59, after watching the coward Gen. Powell cover up for his aide in the Plame investigation, and then allowing an innocent man to be convicted for a charge not related to exposing the bureaucrat’s profession, you will never find me on the same side as the formerly-respected former-military man. I think Limbaugh wins the argument – it is strictly a racial endorsement. (Rush’s question was, “name a single white leftists that Powell has endorsed.” That list is about as long as the list of successful Marxist economies.) As to your 11:26, you and I clearly read different books.

Dear Just your basic math @ 10:11, stick to math because you don’t know your economics. The flaw in your assumption is “ceteris paribus.” In the real world, national economics are never static. Every action, especially legislative action, generally produces an unanticipated effect. And the economy is especially good at revealing the shortcomings of legislative commands.

Dear Any Rand was right @ various times, you are on fire. Great arguments.

Dear simba @ 12:07, anyone that calls himself simba can not truly call themselves a Christian or a Patriot.

Dear deegee @ 12:09, actually income is the principal source of wealth. Or was until the democrats got started taking it.

Dear peter @ 12:40, fewer than 1% of the innocents murdered for the sake of “choice.”

Dem Strategy Statement #OU-812

In these final days prior to the presidential election, the Dem Party campaign team have adopted the new DSS #OU-812. This policy statement attempts to protect the illusion that candidate 0bama is not a racist. Not a racist even though he did attend Trinity United Church of Christ for over twenty years.

ISSUE: Now, the Rethuglicans are going to tell you that the Trinity United Church of Christ endorses the racist teaching of James H. Cone. TUCC is, after all, the congregation where candidate Obama worshipped with his family for twenty years. And TUCC’s long-standing acceptance of the racist Black Liberation Theology doctrine is well-known. But who knew candidate Obama would be running for the presidency this soon?

ANSWER: OK, so they’ve got us on that one. Just blather on about a third Bush term and file it under “sh!t happens.”

ISSUE: Now, the ‘thuglicans will write about these facts questioning the integrity and judgement of 0bama. You can respond in an anonymous blog post (posing as a ‘thuglican, of course!) and say all kinds of racist things. You know, say how much you hate Obama and then drop the n-bomb all around - liberally. This strategy keeps the public thinking we’re all happy-go-lucky racists and canididate 0bama’s just one of us. Say a couple of “Hail Marys” afterward for forgiveness.

ANSWER: OK, so 0bama’s running for the presidency and we shouldn’t elect a dim-witted racist even if all us other illiterate half-wits are. Alright, alright, I know - that’s two the ‘thuglicans got us on.

ISSUE: Now, if they mention Rev. Wright just say he’s just a kook. And, it’s true, there’s not a Rev. created who didn’t say what the congregation was paying to hear. Just mention Obama was visiting orphan children for these twenty years - he couldn’t been part of that hypocrisy. We know candidate Obama should have left after his first read of Cone’s, A Black Theology of Liberation. And, even though he didn’t, there should be no adverse reflection on him.

ANSWER: OK, so candidate Obama’s a slow learner and it took him twenty years to read the book. ‘Thuglicans got us there, too. After all, who else would sit in a church for twenty years swilling that racist tripe unless you arrived on the short bus.

Dem Strategy Statement #OU-812Amendment

ISSUE: Anything.

ANSWER: Just put your fingers in your ears and cry, “nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah.”

Dear Robert @ 1:02, although you intended the post as sarcasm, I agree. I cannot imagine why a small business owner must hire an attorney to represent him in court – too many unnecessary restrictions on freedom. The market weeds out the poor practitioners better than any board of experts. A board of experts serves only the purpose of restricting entry into the field and sustaining higher wages for the anointed.

OK, with two weeks to go, it is time to pull out all the stops.

As evidence of the obvious and insane amount of partisan bickering over silly wedge issues, etc, Joe the Plumber has supplanted this supposed financial bailout on the nation’s National Enquirer mindset as furthered by our yellow journalist here.

But not for some of us.

It is a fictional fix and is truly throwing OUR money into a hole.

Let me see if I understand this correctly. We’re buying the bad credit? From un-credit worthy creditors? Yet they are the very ones who caused this “crisis”!

First they created false financial values. Then they extracted profits that didn’t exist. Then they exempted themselves from market disclosure.

In reality, we all know that this is a bailout of the two party political system which knowingly allowed and enabled it.

And it is the ultimate insult to the American people.

There were NO public hearings. No gathering of the best minds to find actual long term solutions. Or even someone who could discuss options and who would actually advocate for US taxpayers and consumers.

It was a backroom deal between George W. Bush and the Congressional Democrats. (No, Dick Cheney was not involved in this one, he was in an “undisclosed location”!)

They shut out, and sold out the American people.

In 1775 there were 13 colonies under King George II. And in 2008, there are 50 colonies under King George IV.

This is modern day taxation without representation.

And some say this problem was not systemic. A few bad apples.

Yeah right.

First, the Corporate board of directors looked the other way.

Then the Corporate law firms did.

Then the giant accounting firms did.

Then the rating agencies like Standard & Poors and Moodys were overtly paid to look the other way.

Then the Investment banks did.

Next, the state regulatory agencies did.

Ditto, the federal regulatory agencies.

And finally Congress did.

ALL WERE PAID TO LOOK THE OTHER WAY

And Washington had Wall Street over the barrel this time! They could have gotten many concessions for comprehensive change and real oversight, disclosure and effective regulation.

They could have greatly expanded criminal prosecution. You know, empty the jails of the non-violent drug users and throw the MANY white collar criminals in. That should definitely reform the prison system!

They could have and SHOULD HAVE made the hedge fund speculators and swindlers pay for the bailout.

500 Trillion Dollars in credit derivative sales and purchases! And even a tiny tax would have gone an enormous way to come up with this capital.

It is the corporate destruction of capitalism. And it will be paid for by the taxpayers of today AND tomorrow. They are no bailouts for you and me, or our children and grandchildren.

“Joe the Plumber” helps to explain why Americans are so turned off by politics …” is not correct. The medias’ response to Joe the Plumber is what turns off Americans to politics. The media will send a whole horde of reporters to Alaska to investigate the pregnancy of a 17 year old, as well as the alleged banning of books in the Wasilla Library that were not yet written or published. And now the really big story that is of prime national interest is whether Joe the Plumber is behind on his taxes. WOW - I mean that is a captivating, ongoing investigation. I am sure many are having trouble sleeping in anticipation of reading just how much he is behind to Uncle Sam. The media no doubt has concluded that the bombing of buildings by a domestic terrorist who jump-started BO’s political career, as well as ghost-written his book, is a total non-starter. Or ACORN swarming thourghout the nation to engage in illegal voter registration is, to the national media, just about as newsworthy as a 6-year old who just caught his first 4 inch fish in southern Georgia. The media believes that Joe the Plumber deserves to be scrutinized, hammered, and mocked for daring to ask BO a question about raising our taxes, which he will do if elected. The audacity to do this just before his Official Coronation. I rather suspect that the media is hurrying to get this story-line finished so it can get back to the incredibly important story of the banning of books not yet written and the pregnant teenager.

Well well well…it seems I have hit this jackpot this blog session. It is truly an honor to be recognized by Mr. Ragnar Danneskjöld. I have long been an admirer.

Mr. Hillbilly — common citizens are by right entitled to free speech in this country. Therefore Mr. Plumber should not be “vetted” by anyone. Nor should he be attacked by anyone for doing so. The fact that he clearly articulated a question that the media has managed to avoid asking the One, and that the One clearly articulated his opinion on tape should be cheered by all. We finally got a real answer to a question. Not something that happens often in Obamanation.

BS Aplenty - thanks for the laugh. I wish it were just funny instead of a scary reality.

(Continued from my post at 1:15)

And it was predicted – Ralph Nader, Gretchen Morganstern and Ben Stein, and even the WSJ and NYT all saw it coming. (Yet, as corporate owned interests themselves, the propagandist MSM will not provide any real coverage to those who try to organize and actually confront the problems.)

This “crisis” is the result of simple greed mixed with concentrated, unregulated power that answers to no one but themselves. Even the head of the federal reserve called it ” A sustained orgy of excess and speculative behavior.”

FDR said, “Liberty of a democracy is not safe if the people tolerate the growth of private power to a point where it becomes stronger than the democratic state itself. That, in its essence, is fascism—ownership of government by an individual, by a group, or by any other controlling private power.”

The NYSE is a study in casino capitalism!

Most Americans do not understand these 3 Principles of capitalism.

1) If you own it you control it. But not so in corporate America. The investors and and shareholders have little, if any real say, and certainly don’t control the assets . 2) You are free to fail. Unless of course, you are so big that you can get the government to bail you out.

3) Capitalism should not use government powers to get at give away prices, public lands and countless other resources. They belong to the American people.

The people’s sovereignty is superior to corporate interests. These are artificial entities, THEY ARE NOT PEOPLE and if I understand the US Constitution properly, they have no constitutional rights.

Since 1968, American worker productivity has doubled.

Yet 80% of Americans earn less in inflation adjusted dollars than they did in 1973.

Taft Hartley, tort reform and other pro-corporate, anti-people legislation is why we are where we are.

And these three supposed debates between Mssrs. Obama and McCain were the voice of avoidance.

47 million Americans uninsured. Another 50 million under insured. Our jobs are outsourced to fascistic and communist countries.

Why? Because economic justice has been usurped by giant multinational corporate interests, via global agreements like NAFTA. And who owns those interests?

Wall street.

Is this patriotism?

Do these giant multinational corporations have any allegiance to the United States of America? Or the people of this nation? Of course not.

90% Americans think this nation is in decline.

75% think corporations have too much control.

60% think the two major political parties are failing.

But there are vanguards. Regardless of political background, people are rightfully angry and want to hold these corporations accountable to their employees, investors, community, nation and the rule of law.

To the swindlers, crooks and speculators on wall street, I say take down old glory. You are not patriots.

And to the thieves and liars on Wall Street, I say like president Reagan did, TEAR DOWN THIS WALL!

Before the American people do!

The first time ever in my life that I’ve seen the GOP, WASP’s, shaking in their boots. LMAO!!! It’s called “RECKONING.” Joe can’t ask his leaders a question, huh? Funny, Sen. Obama answered his question. Wasn’t what he wanted to hear, but he answered it. Funny its somehow Sen. Obama’s fault that his world got turned upside down. It apparently had nothing to do with Sen. McCain’s use of his name at a nationally televised debate. He used poor ol’ Joe like a dishrag and hung him out to dry in front of the media. Hmmm, I wonder how I can go out and do something to someone and not be responsible. There are a few I’d settle a score or two with…

There are many scenarios that can lead to tax difficulties for tradespeople other than just plain refusing to pay taxes.

Aw, c’mon! Joe the Plumber is an independent contractor for the owner of the plumbing company. Payments he receives are reportable by his employer and taxable. The State of Ohio didn’t send out investigators to see whether Joe wasn’t reporting income. The state already had the report from his employer. It was a simple matter to determine that Joe hadn’t paid taxes on the income. Dreaming up weird scenarios of working in other states, etc., will not obviate the fact that Joe is a tax cheat.

Someone better put a muzzle on Biden. Otherwise people may see through Barack Hussein, AND THE FACT THAT OBAMA HUSSEIN HAS NO EXPERIENCE ON ANYTHING PROVES THAT OUR ENEMIES WILL INDEED ATTACK US.

Biden to Supporters: “Gird Your Loins”, For the Next President “It’s Like Cleaning Augean Stables”

ABC News’ Matthew Jaffe Reports: Sen. Joe Biden, D-Del., on Sunday guaranteed that if elected, Sen. Barack Obama., D-Ill., will be tested by an international crisis within his first six months in power and he will need supporters to stand by him as he makes tough, and possibly unpopular, decisions.

“Mark my words,” the Democratic vice presidential nominee warned at the second of his two Seattle fundraisers Sunday. “It will not be six months before the world tests Barack Obama like they did John Kennedy. The world is looking. We’re about to elect a brilliant 47-year-old senator president of the United States of America. Remember I said it standing here if you don’t remember anything else I said. Watch, we’re gonna have an international crisis, a generated crisis, to test the mettle of this guy.”

“I can give you at least four or five scenarios from where it might originate,” Biden said to Emerald City supporters, mentioning the Middle East and Russia as possibilities. “And he’s gonna need help. And the kind of help he’s gonna need is, he’s gonna need you - not financially to help him - we’re gonna need you to use your influence, your influence within the community, to stand with him. Because it’s not gonna be apparent initially, it’s not gonna be apparent that we’re right.”

Not only will the next administration have to deal with foreign affairs issues, Biden warned, but also with the current economic crisis.

“Gird your loins,” Biden told the crowd. “We’re gonna win with your help, God willing, we’re gonna win, but this is not gonna be an easy ride. This president, the next president, is gonna be left with the most significant task. It’s like cleaning the Augean stables, man. This is more than just, this is more than – think about it, literally, think about it – this is more than just a capital crisis, this is more than just markets. This is a systemic problem we have with this economy.”

The Delaware lawmaker managed to rake in an estimated $1 million total from his two money hauls at the downtown Sheraton, the same hotel where four years ago Sen. John Kerry, D-Mass., clinched the Democratic nomination. Despite warning about the difficulties the next administration will face, Biden said the Democratic ticket is equipped to meet the challenges head on.

“I’ve forgotten more about foreign policy than most of my colleagues know, so I’m not being falsely humble with you. I think I can be value added, but this guy has it,” the Senate Foreign Relations chairman said of Obama. “This guy has it. But he’s gonna need your help. Because I promise you, you all are gonna be sitting here a year from now going, ‘Oh my God, why are they there in the polls? Why is the polling so down? Why is this thing so tough?’ We’re gonna have to make some incredibly tough decisions in the first two years. So I’m asking you now, I’m asking you now, be prepared to stick with us. Remember the faith you had at this point because you’re going to have to reinforce us.”

“There are gonna be a lot of you who want to go, ‘Whoa, wait a minute, yo, whoa, whoa, I don’t know about that decision’,” Biden continued. “Because if you think the decision is sound when they’re made, which I believe you will when they’re made, they’re not likely to be as popular as they are sound. Because if they’re popular, they’re probably not sound.”

Biden emphasized that the mountainous Afghanistan-Pakistan border is of particular concern, with Osama bin Laden “alive and well” and Pakistan “bristling with nuclear weapons.”

“You literally can see what these kids are up against, our kids in that region,” Biden said in recalling when his helicopter was forced down due to a snowstorm there. “The place is crawling with al Qaeda. And it’s real.”

“We do not have the military capacity, nor have we ever, quite frankly, in the last 20 years, to dictate outcomes,” he cautioned. “It’s so much more important than that. It’s so much more complicated than that. And Barack gets it.”

After speaking for just over a quarter of an hour, Biden noticed the media presence in the back of the small ballroom.

“I probably shouldn’t have said all this because it dawned on me that the press is here,” he joked.

“All kidding aside, these guys have left us in a God-awful place,” he then said of the Bush regime, promptly wrapping up his remarks. “We have the ability to straighten it out. It’s gonna take a little bit of time, so I ask you to stay with us. Stay with us.”

Ya Know Joe the plumber is just another scam by McCain and another lower income hard working man that the Republicans have helped over the years with their concern for the middle class. Kind of like the other scam of William Ayres, you know the WHITE 60’s terrorist that a Republican chose to be on that board with Obama and many Republicans. One the Republicans don’t seem to remember is that other WHITE terrorist that McCain used to know well, G Gordon Liddy. They probably don’t bring that up, because McCain wasn’t 8 years old when he did his stuff. Remember though, that as long as our government keeps giving those big tax breaks to the rich, the large corporations, and large oil, the “fundamentals” are sound and we will all prosper, especially those “pro Americans” who are only in the small towns. Sarah is going to ship the rest of us to Russia, so she can keep an eye on us from her front porch.

Dutchman, here’s why I don’t get upset about Cindy McCain paying 25% of her income in taxes.

In the United States, wealth is highly concentrated in a relatively few hands. As of 2001, the top 1% of households (the upper class) owned 33.4% of all privately held wealth, and the next 19% (the managerial, professional, and small business stratum) had 51%, which means that just 20% of the people owned a remarkable 84%, leaving only 16% of the wealth for the bottom 80% (wage and salary workers). In terms of financial wealth, the top 1% of households had an even greater share: 39.7%. Numerous studies show that the wealth distribution has been extremely concentrated throughout American history, with the top 1% already owning 40-50% in large port cities like Boston, New York, and Charleston in the 19th century.

If you want to talk income, while the concentration of income is not as top heavy as the concentration of wealth, the top 1% of income earners did receive 20% of all income in the year 2000. That’s up from 12.8% for the top 1% in 1982, which is quite a jump, and it parallels what is happening with the wealth distribution.

I have absolutely nothing against people making money and accumulating wealth. I just think that it’s important to understand the relationship between wealth and power. In this country the wealthy obtain power by using their wealth to hire lobbyists and pay for expensive political campaigns. You can also make the case that power creates wealth. Those in power can legislate in their favor, i.e., $750 billion of taxpayer dollars to buy up privately held assets that have degraded in value. As far as I can tell, 25% is getting away pretty cheap.

Yet there are so what it boils down to is, people of any race or creed who find themselves unsucesful and unhappy in life should look no further than the mirror. Aftr reading Biden’s speech, I am convinced of one thing.

If this great generated international crisis is coming to hit Obama if he is president (as Biden is predicting).. we must have a strong leader. The only strong one who can handle such a crisis is John McCain. Biden says “we” have to help ‘cause Obama will need it.

This is not the time to TRAIN someone with little experience to be President.

Besides that, what lies beneath his smooth exterior is totally unknown.

Any info mentioned about his past is soon disclaimed and another “face” put upon it. Not a madrassa, not a terrorist when I knew him, not a racist when I heard him for 20 years, not connected to ol buddy Rezko, nothing wrong with ACORN. Then the old song and dance…. I will not raise your taxes.

Why Obama Should Not be President

To know a man is to understand the gods to which he kneels.

A man’s speech may be used to inform or misinform others but his worship seeks to edify his own soul. Rarely is there need for deception. And so the journey to understand the candidate Barack Obama must pass through his place of worship, the Trinity United Church of Christ. A congregation where he worshipped, sang, taught and learned for twenty years. A congregation where he also found a life’s mentor in the person of TUCC’s erstwhile minister, Jeremiah Wright.

TUCC is a numerically significant and unique church among the United Churches of Christ. How unique? Unique in that it alone has adopted as doctrine the teachings of one James H. Cone, the theologian who systematized black liberation theology. And it is in the doctrine of Cone where one finds candidate Obama’s genuine worship. To many Americans that doctrine would differ markedly from what they view as Christian worship. In fact, one wonders what this archaic, racist doctrine has to do with Christianity at all as demonstrated in a doctrinal passage from Cone’s A Theology of Black Liberation:

This understanding of blackness can be seen as the most adequate symbol of the dimensions of divine activity in America. And insofar as the country is seeking to make whiteness the dominating power throughout the world, whiteness is the symbol of the Antichrist. Whiteness characterizes the activity of deranged individuals intrigued by their own image of themselves, and thus unable to see that they are what is wrong with the world. Black theology seeks to analyze the satanic nature of whiteness and by doing so to prepare all nonwhites for revolutionary action.

In passing, it may be worthwhile to point out that whites are in no position whatever to question the legitimacy of black theology. Questions like “Do you think theology is black?” or “What about others who suffer?” are the product of minds incapable of black thinking. It is not surprising that those who reject blackness in theology are usually whites who do not question the blue-eyed white Christ. It is hard to believe that whites are worried about black theology on account of its alleged alienation of other sufferers. Oppressors are not genuinely concerned about any oppressed group. It would seem rather that white rejection of black theology stems from a recognition of the revolutionary implications in its very name: a rejection of whiteness, an unwillingness to live under it, and an identification of whiteness with evil and blackness with good. [7-8]

It seems that for non-black Americans to know the soul of candidate Obama, that is, to understand what he thinks is soul-edifying worship for himself, his wife, his children, one must slog through Cone’s racist doctrine of yester-year. The ‘Change You Can Believe In’ sloganeering now simply reveals this candidate as all-too-comfortable with the politics of deception. And, Obama’s genuine worship shows him as wed to a doctrine wherein there is little tolerance for the larger American community.

The candidate then seems easy enough to parse, but what are we to make of his avid supporters who well-know the philosophical background of his church, who cheer on their candidate even with his well-known acceptance of racist thought like Cone’s? What are we to infer about an American media that seems decidedly negligent in reporting this to the voters? I’ll leave that to you good people.

TUCC recently responded to pointed observations about its racist doctrines and renovated its website removing the James H. Cone texts and other Black Liberation rhetoric. Previously, the Cone texts were the only texts sold on the TUCC website. The congregation has now substituted other texts for sale that do not mention Black Liberation Theology.

That “bump-bump, bump-bump” you just heard was the sound of James Cone being thrown under the political bus to provide cover for the Obama campaign. During this political season, TUCC has found a way to cast out doctrine and preachers faster than Jesus could cast out demons.

Ah, can you feel the power of their political, er, religious conversion?

Joe the Plumber is the average republican follower. Yet, he has a dream. However, Joe doesn’t pay his taxes, has a journeymen or plumbers license. Based upon Joe’s reported salary he is an example of the working poor.

If Joe does not consider himself to be an example of the working poor, he should pay that $1200 in back taxes. He probably has bad credit, why else would he not have paid. Does Joe believe that it is un-American to pay back taxes or does he consider himself to be in the elite tax bracket and is entitled to the Bush tax cut.

The IRS should definitely investigate Joe’s plan to buy that small business, just incase he has money sitting in the bank somewhere.

FYI.. Joe based upon your income you probably qualify for one of those government programs that help poor people buy businesses. Because, your inability to pay your taxes would not qualify you for a bank loan. I mean, why would a bank lend money to Joe? I guess he expects a loan based upon a PIPE Dream.

On Joe’s salary if he hurts himself or becomes ill, he could become homeless and on welfare very easy.

I think Joe needs to take a closer look at the Obama/Biden plans for his future. Because it’s sad when two people such as Obama and Biden cares more Joe, than Joe cares about himself.

Krusty, Joe the plumber is a Republinazi plant. He’s a lot like, and even resembles, the homosexual prostitute that masqueraded as a newsperson in countless press briefings and conferences. Remember Jeff Gannon? It’s the same sort of deal. It’s altogether possible that Jeff and Joe and Sen. Craig and Rep. Foley all get together and do some gang plumbing in the name of Republinaziism. It’s not a real issue, not a real issue but is just typical Republinazi b******!

Unfortunately, neither the right wing respondents or Mr Wooten are actually conservative. True conservatives would have abandoned the hypocritical, dishonest mud-slinging, character assasinating Republican party long ago. Many of them have. Even Christoper Buckley has said he’s voting for Obama. Why? Because the Republican party has strayed so far from the conservative ideals. Any true conservative would vote for Barr or Obama before they would consider McCain.

Jim Here’s our Palin, running way late today, I’ll do better tomorrow..

Palin Calls Reported Attacks ‘Atrocious and Unacceptable’ By Michael Falcone In an interview with the Christian Broadcasting Network, Gov. Sarah Palin responded to news reports indicating that supporters of the Republican ticket have made offensive and threatening comments directed at Senator Barack Obama at campaign rallies, saying that she had not heard them.

“We have heard through some mainstream media is that folks have hollered out some pretty atrocious and unacceptable things,” including threats of harm, she said, adding “we have not heard that.”

Ms. Palin added: “If I ever were to hear that standing up there at the podium with the mic, I would call them out on that, and I would tell these people, no, that’s unacceptable, let’s rise above that please.”

But Governor Palin, the Republican vice presidential nominee, said she would not hesitate to continue accusing Mr. Obama of “palling around with terrorists” because of his association with the former founder of the radical group, the Weather Underground:

“I would say it again, I would say it again, because again, according to the information that we have, the association that he’s had with Bill Ayers wasn’t just one or two time sitting on a board together,” Ms. Palin said. “No, there’s been quite a few associations and events and meetings and discussion and emails and calls and to not disavow that too, I think is troubling.”

Mr. Obama has portrayed his association with Mr. Ayers as limited. And a Times report notes that the two men do not appear to have been close.

Governor Palin made her comments in an interview over the weekend with the Christian television network’s political reporter, David Brody, who also spoke to her about issues of faith and politics.

She expressed support for a Constitutional amendment to define marriage as between a man and a woman. “I wish on a federal level that that’s where we would go because I don’t support gay marriage,” she said.

In the interview she also discussed her personal religious beliefs and said that “faith and God in general has been mocked through this campaign.” She also spoke about the things she prays for and suggested how that faith has helped her through the grueling campaign.

“I don’t know how anybody would want to do this if they didn’t have real strong faith in God that he’s got it all under control,” she said.

**What is truly pathetic is that Jim Wooten and his all white country club homeboys and homegirls write columns and make sweeping generalizations without butressing any of them because they are poorly educated and don’t read widely.

They would urge you to put a quintissential moron Sarah Palin next in line to a man who refuses any meaningful release of both his wife’s tax return and his own medical records unlike his opponents after McCain has undergone resection for a very large metastatic melanoma and has better than 2/3 of a chance of another recurrence or several recurrences according to widely accepted stats in the current dermatology literature.

The arrogance of Wooten and his crowd is to put this moron in line for the presidency when she and her party are so ashamed of her blazing ignorance that she will not go on any major Sunday talk show for a full hour or half hour interview unlike her opponents have many times over.

Further these arrogant white country club bigots want you to vote this totally stupid woman next in line for the presidency to a man who has statistically significant medical risks of stepping aside, and the woman is so stupid neither she nor her party will take any spontaneous questions from either the press or the voters with nearly two weeks until the election.**

Before running for a high office like a Senator that makes laws for the USA; every person must be cleared by the CIA. Especially if they sit on boards that makes policies for the Military, have anything to do with US Security and has anything to do with the Federal Budget. So when I see posts about “Obama is a terrorist” — honestly, you gotta laugh!! Honsestly, if you must be cleared to become a sitting US Senator, imagine the background clearances that you must have if you’re trying to become a US president!! The man has wrote extensively how much he loves his maternal family, (who by the way are WHITE — he was raised by them u know). Paul Krugman, Nobel Peace Prize winner, incinerates your premise, Mr. Wooten, thusly:

“Forty years ago, Richard Nixon made a remarkable marketing discovery. By exploiting America’s divisions — divisions over Vietnam, divisions over cultural change and, above all, racial divisions — he was able to reinvent the Republican brand. The party of plutocrats was repackaged as the party of the “silent majority,” the regular guys — white guys, it went without saying — who didn’t like the social changes taking place.

It was a winning formula. And the great thing was that the new packaging didn’t require any change in the product’s actual contents — in fact, the G.O.P. was able to keep winning elections even as its actual policies became more pro-plutocrat, and less favorable to working Americans, than ever.

John McCain’s strategy, in this final stretch, is based on the belief that the old formula still has life in it.

(snip) Maybe there are plumbers out there who earn that much, or who would end up suffering from Mr. Obama’s proposed modest increases in taxes on dividends and capital gains — America is a big country, and there’s probably a high-income plumber with a huge stock market portfolio out there somewhere. But the typical plumber would pay lower, not higher, taxes under an Obama administration, and would have a much better chance of getting health insurance.

(snip) Whatever today’s G.O.P. is, it isn’t the party of working Americans.”

Chew on that one for awhile. Joe the Plumber, Republican plant, admitted that he would benefit by Obama’s tax plan…but who cares about the facts when you’ve got liberals to disparage, eh Jim?

I think pulling out the race card is a bad road to travel.

Fair enough. If you think Obama’s racist background is a non-starter, then maybe you should address his lack of intelligence. No one drinks that kool-aid for twenty years without having agreed with the doctrine. And that speaks of intellectual dishonesty that I find appalling. Either that or he doesn’t have the cojones to stand up to the black (racist) community. Both traits are presidential non-starters for me.

You are simply giving him a “get out of racist jail” card wherein no other candidate would get such deference. I hope you’re not a lawyer.

If you think presidential affirmative action is the way to promote racial healing - you’re wrong and fearful. Neither is an intelligent basis upon which to select a president. There are other qualified candidates. To elect Obama with his racial baggage is to invite the worst elements to find a voice for their misguided thinking. Truly, one wonders what the Dem party was thinking when they ran him and what his supporters were thinking when they nominated him.

Oh, I think I said it - presidential affirmative action.

In all seriousness, can any of the people on this (or any) message board enamored of using the terms “liberal”, “socialist”, “terrorist”, “leftist”, “communist”, etc. clearly and accurately define what any of these terms actually mean? Does anyone feel the least bit ashamed about speaking about subjects about which they know nothing? Debate is fine and I enjoy reading and hearing different viewpoints, but stringing together a series of talking points, catchwords and buzzwords and thinking you are making an intelligent argument is weak and counterproductive. People who do that simply enforce their own ignorance and that of those who agree with their ambiguous statements. Can we elevate the discussion? I’d like to hear from intelligent people from all across the political spectrum and would love for those whose knowledge base is a little shaky to just read, process and learn. Is that too much to ask?

While I strongly suspect “JTP” was a GOP plant (as both sides utilize this transparent tactic), his (or the GOP’s) point was valid in regards to the Marxist sentiment of “spreading the wealth”. On the surface, “Bacrock Obuma” is indeed a hardcore Marxist. However, his most true allegiance lies with his Globalist Elite ma$ters (…as does fellow Internationalist “Juan McAmnasty’s”).

That being said, this whole ordeal is largely a smokescreen to continue selling the phoney “Left vs. Right” paradigm to the uninformed sheeple (who think they have a true choice between GOP & DNC puppets). Folks, please stop being duped by the controlled MSM & other propaganda outlets & realize there’s NO real difference between these two shills! The notion that Obama is going to turn the US into a socialist country is laughable. It is obvious that not only is John McCain the recipient of a socialist program—medicare that has been in force since 1935, but anyone who is breathlessly conflating Obama’s economic programs which are not socialist and have not gotten one vote in Congress yet must have been renditioned to another planet during the past week when 16 trillion literal dollars were committed to purely socialist programs for banks who employ hundreds of millionaires. This money will never be returned to you the taxpayer, and if you believe it will, I’ve got some kudzu filled land to sell you at the same price as the square footage as the Mayflower Renaissance going up by 14th street near Piedmont Park.

In fact, the bailout done the past couple weeks tops the amount laid out for Social Security in 2009.

AIG personnel, after being ripped by media for their multiple hundred thousand dollar California spa junket, went on a partridge hunt last week and spent:

*”London’s News of the World sent undercover reporters to hunt down the feckless financiers on their $86,000 partridge hunt as they tromped through the countryside in tweed knickers, and then later as they “slurped fine wine” and feasted on pigeon breast and halibut.

The paper reported that the A.I.G. revelers stayed at Plumber Manor — not the ancestral home of Joe the Plumber, a 17th-century country house in Dorset — and spent $17,500 for food and rooms. The private jet to get there cost another $17,500, and the limos added up to $8,000 more.

In an astonishing let-them-eat-cake moment, the A.I.G. big shot Sebastian Preil held court at the bar and told an undercover reporter, “The recession will go on until about 2011, but the shooting was great today and we are relaxing fine.”*

This is Hank Paulson driven money after Hank Paulson, Bernanke, and the Republican Senate Banking Committee Chairman for years drove the economy into the ground.

“Joe the Plumber”, “bridge to nowhere” ,”lipstick on pigs”, “maverick”,”muslim”, “William Ayers”,”Reverend Wright” etc. Have you ever seen such political non-sense with no discussion on the issues?

And another thing, all you wealthy people who think that people making less than $45,000 do not pay taxes must know something that I don’t. Please let me and Joe the Plumber know how this is done so that we can share this information with those folks just like us.

Can we elevate the discussion?

jef, earlier today I wrote a long non-partisan piece detailing the reasons behind the financial “crisis”/bailout.

It is chock full of data, evidence and facts outlining how it occurred and who the players were.

Guess how many retorts, pro or con, I have received?

From Democrats and/or Republicans?

You got it. Nary a one.

I think it speaks volumes about these party loyalists trying to refute/defend what they cannot.

So, I have come to the sad realization, after many years of close observation, that most Americans are quite content with these debacles. And why they keep sending back to Washington the Kennedys, McCains, Bushes and Clintons et al.

They are owned by the two political parties and they do not even know it.

But I assure you the RNC and the DNC do.

Good night all.

Liberals are here fuming, fabricating and foaming at the mouth as usual. I don’t believe there is one lib comment here that is not insulting one way or another. Let’s see: Insult Joe the plumber. Insult McCain and Palin. Insult Bush and Cheney. Insult all Republicans. Insult the military and their successful efforts. And if you really want to get insulted, just mention Church, faith, patriotism, family, marriage and even Pledge of Allegiance

Maybe these remarks are insulting to Dustball BUT look at them the TRUTHFUL way. Let’s see: The TRUTH about Joe the Plumber, the TRUTH about McCain and Palin, the TRUTH about Bush and Cheney, the TRUTH about all Republicans, the TRUTH about the military and their UNSUCCESSFUL efforts….

Isn’t it a shame that Dustball see the truth as an insult.

True Conservatives are not Republicans Yes true conservatives will vote for Barr or the new Constitutional Party. Republicans have orchestrated the biggest fraud in history concerning the Conservative Label. Republicans are just a little more conservative than Democrats. Actually both are pretty liberal. It is funny to see all the Republicans on this comment blog that think they are conservative. If you are a true Conservative you would have deserted the Republican Party in W’s first term.

Reading these posts make me think humans are doomed. The majority of Americans Democrat and Republican are too self involved to put political differences aside. It just turns into name calling and personal attacks. All of you on here that resort to personal attacks come from a weak position. FACTS and not name calling when a debate. After watching the presidental debates, it is quite clear. We are getting what we deserve. The decline of our Republic. Whether it’s Obama or McCain. People in this country don’t give a rats a** about helping anyone but themselves. Racial tension, class envy, among other things. Is ruining a great country. If you making 40k a year and crying about some making millions, then you need to look in the mirror. Many of them are good people, that sacrifice a lot to get rich. Have a great day and maybe some day the hate will leave your heart.

Reverse Racism Alot of the bloggers for Obama practice this here……..

They bring their hip hop mentality to discussions that should be 50 floors above the street level they would like to keep it at……….

I will cite the following Keep digging up BS about Fannie and Freddie “Post” Franklin Raines (He’s the one that raped, oops reeped the most from Fannie or Freddie….$90mill in 6 years while doing nothing to curtail the BS….Raines now is the chief economic advisor to Obama…… * Nobody benefited more individually than raines while he cooked those books.*

All of you that are bashing “Joe the Plumber” do you even know:

He does not need a license to be a Plumber…. The business he works for does….

If he paid his taxes or not, is nobodies GD business….. He is not running for anything Obama is……..If it were you in his position, how would you handle it?? Play the race card? Probably….

Lastly…… Obama was in his front yard from what the reports say….. How then could he be a McCain “Plant”?

** Why don’t you people think things through? Elevate your game out of the gutter people.

**Why is your form of discussion to “bash”, “insult”, and “disparage”? Apply some decorum to your discussions. Can you even make your points without the trashing and bashing?

This is not a sporting event! This is the election for the most powerful job in the world for crying out loud.

**If this is what the world is going to degenerate too if Obama takes office, wow.

**If this is how you showcase the superiority of your candidate, how do you expect the undecideds to come over to Obama on election day????

**Or is your only interest in this election, just to thumb your nose at white people…………. Do you think we who are financially independent care if you do? It would be better for society if you raised your game out of the gutter of lies, but in the end Obama being President will not change who you are one bit, and unfortunately whites will continue to think about the black white issue the same way as today…. What a transformational figure Obama is huh…….

J.T.P. is no different than the hapless twits who go on “American Idol” and cannot sing, but think they should be successful because ‘they really want this’ or the countless dweebs who thought because they bought stock in a bull market that they were financial geniuses. They cannot discern reality, that their reach exceeds their grasp. They desperately want to be rich, so they foolishly align themselves with the party of the rich. The GOP has no shame in using these people. I have seen McCain/Palin signs in front of houses that look as though they should be condemned. What on earth does McCain have to offer people on the economic edge? What causes people to vote against their own economic best interest?

By HDB

October 21, 2008 9:19 AM | Link to this

The Republicans have changed the idea that Obama has stated…..”sharing the wealth” does NOT necessarily mean “redistribution of wealth”; if one looks at the economic disparagies of the nation, 5% of the population controls 85% of the nation’s wealth. “Sharing the wealth” means that the opportunities must exist for the other 85% to gain wealth! If a person making $1M has enough loopholes so that he pays NO taxes, while Joe the Plumber who makes $40K has to pay…who needs more tax relief??

Let us not forget that it was under the REAGAN Administration that the middle class got pulled into the Alternative Minimum Tax arena….and the wealthy still have not been affected. Did not the Bible state: “…to whom much is given, much is required”?

I desire to be wealthy….but that also obligates me to pay my taxes; it obligates me to do more for those who depend upon me…as an employer…as a citizen. Let’s look at the reality of the statement…not the politics of it! If I were a millionaire businessman, I would enssure that my employees were paid a livable wage, had insurance coverage, profit sharing into my company…..and I would not have such an exorbitant salary. I would tie my success with the success of my people! THAT’S what needs to be changed in Corporate America…..

Joe the fake plumber is a FRAUD and a good example of McCain’s bad judgement. To further spread lies McCain’s example “Joe” is not his real name.He does not pay his taxes(has liens on his home for back taxes) He makes $40,000(NOT $250,000 as “Joe” claimed) and would get 3x LARGER tax cut under Obama than McCain. “Joe” LIED about buying the business, and the business only makes $100,000 a year. Obama would give TAX CUTS TO ALL WHO MAKE UNDER $250,000 a year.So “Joe” and his boss BOTH would receice larger tax CUTS from Obama than McCain. BUT McCain and republicans wouldn’t let a little thing like TRUTH stand in the way of their dishonorable smear campaign. THAT is why Colin Powell and so many republicans are switching to Obama. What is also true, is that if we were the ones making millions, we would take every opportunity and advantage of very loophole so that we pay into the system as little as possible. Just like the rich do now we would have accountants out the yin, and our tax attorney’s at the ready.

If you want to fix the loopholes….Fix the loopholes.

Just as the say in the Six Sigma Management Certification Courses. Its not people, its the process that needs to be fixed. Or in more simple terms…..Don’t hate the player, hate the game.

ACORN took it upon themselves to utilize unsavory tactics to sign up voters the majority of which signed up as Democrats….Go figure.

The Democrats are the ones wielding the race card like a “billy club” in this elecion, not Republicans.

A Democrat was indicted for breaking into a personal e.mail account of the Govenor of Alaska- A Felony if convicted….

The Democrats try to intimdate Districts Attorney’s into surpressing by arrest people who may conflict with their carefully orchestrated plans…This happened in Missouri….

And what about exposing details of of “Joe the Plumbers” private life, that is nobodies business? All thats ok? Yet Republican are Rethuglicans? GET REAL PLEASE

In these all of these instaces individuals took it upon themselves, acting as agents for the democratic party to do these stupid things…. Not once has the Democratic Party renounced any of it.

John McCain made Joe the Plumber an issue at the debate, not Obama. When McCain chose to use the question and answer on the street in Ohio as political fodder, he opened the guy up to scrutiny. Again, a desperate measure, much like picking Palin, was rushed. And as it turns out Joe the Plumber, who said he is “getting ready to buy a company,” iif in fact not close to that. he is not a plumber, but rather a plumbers assistant. His question therefore was deceptively merely rhetorical. Obama should have been better on his feet and should have asked him whether his current boss “clears” $250,000 or whether that would be the total revenue, because with deductions for vehicles, tools, parts, employee pay and benefits, he would definitely still benefit from Obama’s plan. Hey, at least Obama talks to people who are not screened by the campaign. Seen the folks McCain is dealing with, like the woman who thinks Obama is Arab? I wish Joe the plumber luck buying a plumbing business. I think he would do better starting his own from scratch, once he gets certified. In the meantime, he should vote for Obama. Oh and another thing, he said he does not want a tax cut because it wouldn’t be right, apparently he thinks paying taxes is patriotic.

* You don’t know me, so you have no right to “judge me”*

Did you even think about the charities I support, and how I might have to curtail some of my chritable activities if more of my salary goes to the Governement??? NO

I want to be the one to disperse my wealth to who I think deserves it….

The governement taking my money and “redistributing my wealth/sweat equity” to programs I do not agree with is what is wrong with America.

If I am going to be forced to give up my hard earned coin, I should be given a choice of were it goes.

Do you support any charitable efforts? * Or are you on just on the receiving end?*

Charaties will suffer under “redistribution or the wealth”.

Some things Obama wants to do should be left to charities instead of governement. They are handouts for votes, nothing more. So who is “what is wrong with America now”.

The person who makes real money and supports charities doing good things? or the person waiting for the Obama Presidency as some form of salvation to extricate themselves out of a life of struggle (some, due to forces beyond their control, but most in this situation, are probably due to poor choices they have made in their lives…..).

Every liberal that is denouncing Joe the Plumber and attacking him as a “McCain operative” that was planted by McCain’s campaign…is typical of their smug, hateful conspiracy mindset. The fact IS, that the guy was out playing with his kid; and Obama approached HIM!
Moreover, Joe the Plumber is more correct than you think. Go to the Small Business Administration website and comb through their statistics pages. You’ll see that even though Odumbass says that only 2% of small businesses have $250,000 in revenue—-THE TRUTH IS THAT THE OVERWHELMING MAJORITY of small businesses have revenue higher than that limit. Go ahead…I DARE ya’! So, his tax ‘em plan…is going to cost massive job losses (small businesses account for more than 70% of U.S. jobs). BUT, don’t count on the media doing any research or bothering to expose Obama’s lie about the scope of small businesses. Yeah, libbies…I just called your boy a liar. And if you can stop frothing for a minute and check the SBA stats; you’ll see that I’m spot on CORRECT!

Why is everyone afraid to have their taxes raised?! Is the U.S.A to continue to borrow money from China? Pay 10 billion dollars a month on a never ending war. Why is John McCain so GUNG HO on winning this war, there has never been anything to win, the U.S. doesn’t belong there. Just bring the troops home . My husband and I are both small business owners, and we agree that our taxes should be raised. There is nothing wrong with growing the economy from the bottom up. The trickle down effect that the Republicans favor oh so dearly has never worked, only for the good ol’ boys. John McCain acts like that sharing wealth is a bad thing. The Economy is so screwed up, not only because of Wallstreet and the Housing crisis but, because there are no jobs, your dear leader GEORGE BUSH, believes in and supports Companies taking their businesses Abroad. If there are no jobs, there is no money to circulate in the economy. Are the RICH suppossed to be RICHER and the POOR get POORER. Like that 4 post did ya Algonquin? Thats what the Democrats do here to surpress reasonable argument to their outlandish/abusive rants…………How ya like it????

As for the topic of small businesses……

Lets look at a sub set…… there are many small businesses, that employ 1-4 people….

For example small stores, independent truckers, indepentent gas stations ect…. Sure they may never make $250k a year…..

A plumbing contractor with 10-20 plumbers and other staff working under his license could make $250k no problem…. Skilled Labor always costs more/gets paid more, and by virtue of that puts more money into the economy.

More examples of business that will be wacked by Obama’s taxs the small business and give to the do nothings are:

Small manufacturing plants

Medium sized sit down restaurants

Franchised businesses that have 2 or more locations…

Small construction companies

Small town automobile dealerships

Small transportation companies

The list is endless. Those are but examples of businesses that hire people because the owners cannot do it all themselves….. Those are the businesses where growth will be cut off at the knee’s because of Obama voters want to settle for mediocraty in their lives while hate on others who are reaching for something better.

Obama voters Shout words like GREED, and attack anyone who stands up and says “You do not have a right to put your hand in my pocket….No matter how much money I have, nor how little you have…….

Why should you be able to do that???

Get off your butt and get a jobs that pays something… Don’t blow what you make on material possesions, save it. Save it for a difference making opportunity in your life. Then use the money…. have some personal discipline and initiative you too may get to a point where you guard what you earn from parasites and lazy people.

EVERYONE DOES NOT HAVE THE OPPURTUNITY TO GO TO COLLEGE, SOME PEOPLE HAVE TO WORK RIGHT AFTER HIGH SCHOOL TO HELP THEIR FAMILIES.AND THAT MEANS BEING TRAPPED IN MINIMUM WAGE JOBS! POVERTY IS NOT ABOUT BEING LAZY, MOST POOR PEOPLE WORK A MINIMUM OF TWO (2) JOBS.OUR SOCIETY SEVERELY LACKS EMPATHY

All of this talk back & forth between conservatives and libs concerning taxes. Who, what, when and how much to tax, and that is the crux of the Joe the Plumber issue.

Taxes should be collected by various levels of government for only one reason: in order for the government to function. Taxes should never be used to reward anyone or punish anyone for any behavior that a politician (subjectively) approves or disapproves of.

There is a solution for the tax as well as our national economic situation. It is called the Fair Tax. If it were implemented, the USA would become a place where both domestic and foreign companies would want to set up shop. Don’t believe me? Check it out for yourself. There are 2 books written by Neal Boortz & John Linder. And there is the Fair Tax.org web site.

Sarah Palin is A TRAITOR to the USA.Sarah Palin is connected to the ANTI-AMERICAN Group “Alaska Independence Party” that wants to make Alaska a Foreign Country- separate from the USA. They do not recognize that Alaska should have become a US state. Their goal is to take over all the Oil and sell it on the open market.Leaders of the AIP have stated that Sarah Palin was a member, until she “infiltrated” the Republican party, although they have now changed their story. (Infiltrating doesn’t work if you tell everyone that the mole is really just infiltrating). Palin’s husband, Todd, was a longterm member of the AIP until her political career started to take off. Todd and Sarah have both attended several AIP conventions. Sarah has been photographed reading an article by the John Birch Society calling for a NEW Constitutional Convention- which would overthrow our existing US Constitition.Taken from the 2nd Secessionist Convention - Sarah Palin is identified as a member of the Alaskan Independence Party, which wants to separate from the United States. Reference is made to her having joined the Republican Party when she ran for office just “to get along”. Do you want a woman who hates America enough to want to leave it, running it? Country first my A#%.

Sarah Palin has been a republican since she was a teenager. I have seen her voter registration card. You are desperately grasping for straws. You also need to learn more about the AIP before you offer these judgements. I have researched it.
