Count to ‘10, and a fun race for governor
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
My standard advice to Republicans under the Gold Dome is this: Get it together.
Don’t stop fighting — at least not when disagreement is about substantive policy choices. When it’s ambition and ego, quit. The alternative to public fights is not to go behind closed doors, cut a deal and then rubber-stamp it through the General Assembly.
Essential, too, is to create a good system of oversight and accountability so that as the state turns to the private sector to provide toll roads and essential services, all transactions are transparent, at arm’s length and fairly priced — uninfluenced by political contributions and connections. Build openness, ethics and accountability into the system — and then farm out government to the absolute max.
Why raise these matters now?
Georgia’s 2010 gubernatorial race will get a lot more interesting, and perhaps competitive too, in coming days. The just-retired adjutant general of the Georgia National Guard, Lt. Gen. David Poythress, is expected to announce in July that he’ll enter the 2010 race for governor as a Democrat. House Minority Leader DuBose Porter of Dublin and others may, as well. Poythress and Porter are the kinds of Democrats Georgians have traditionally chosen. That is, they’re not from the party’s fringe.
That’s crucial. Ours is not a sudden-jolt electorate. We ease into change. Center-right candidates win; center-left doesn’t, unless they’re successful in masking their leanings.
While some delusional Democrats believe Barack Obama will put the state in play this November, the odds are long that a candidate with his politics carries Georgia, even with a record black turnout.
A Democrat who intends to win statewide needs overwhelming black support and at least 30 percent of whites. As of January, blacks were 27.2 percent of registered voters, up from 24.5 percent eight years earlier. White registration over the period declined from 73.6 percent of the electorate to 66.3. Blacks were 39.6 percent of new registrants; whites, 33.4; and Hispanics and others, 27.
In statewide elections, metro Atlanta is pretty much a wash for the two parties. It’s the rest of Georgia that picks the winners. The trick for Democrats is to find a candidate attractive to Reagan Democrats outside metro Atlanta. Even that’s not a guarantee. George W. Bush carried this state with 58 percent of the vote in 2004.
Poythress has won statewide. He was elected Labor Commissioner in 1992 to fill the unexpired term of Joe Tanner, who had been appointed commissioner of the state Department of Natural Resources. He won a full term in 1994, before leaving in 1998 to run for governor. In that race, he finished third to Roy Barnes, who then appointed him adjutant general. Gov. Sonny Perdue reappointed him.
His reputation is for exceptional competence. In 1979, Gov. George Busbee appointed him secretary of state, to fill a vacancy created by the death of the legendary Ben Fortson. Before that, he’d served as an assistant in the attorney general’s office, as deputy revenue commissioner and as commissioner of the Department of Medical Assistance.
In 1982, he was defeated in the Democratic primary by Max Cleland. Cleland, later a U.S. senator, was magic with crowds, just as Barack Obama is today. Had Cleland not opted to vote with national Democrats in the U.S. Senate, he’d be there today. But in 1982, Poythress’ superior competence as an administrator was no match for Cleland’s patriotic appeal and his ability to inspire audiences.
Just before he retired last November, I heard Poythress speak. He is close now to being what Max Cleland was then.
Republicans have no clear front-runner yet. One or more members of Congress may opt to give it a shot. Insurance Commissioner John Oxendine says he’s in. Secretary of State Karen Handel may be, too, and Lt. Gov. Casey Cagle aims there, as well. The debacle of the past two legislative sessions is real baggage for Cagle and could damage the appeal of all Republicans running for governor.
Perdue’s successor most likely will be a Republican, especially if Obama is elected and pursues the agenda he’s laid out. But a seasoned center-right Democrat who can run strong in the “other Georgia” can win.

Pakistanis cheer killings by Taliban-Urinal/PMS
A gang of Pakistani militants executed two Afghan prisoners in front of thousands of cheering supporters Friday, beheading one man and shooting the other after accusing them of aiding a U.S. missile strike.
The executions in the Bajur region highlighted the power of local Taliban forces in lawless tribal areas near the Afghan border.-Urinal
Well, well, the Urinal has defined the word “power” for us. Apparently it means abandon your country like cowards, go hide in a neighboring “friendly” country where the U.S. military isn’t “allowed,” round up some innocent bystanders, “convict” them in some show trial and slaughter them as an example to your enslaved population, and, of course, as an opportunity for the pinko media to taunt the United States.
Now remember, this is the lib’s side of the war on terror, al Qaeda’s weak sister we are talking about:
After the executions, the crowd erupted in cheers of “God is great!” and gunmen fired in the air in jubilation. The celebratory gunfire killed two bystanders and wounded six, local official Fazal Rabbi said.
Excellent chance for an anti gun editorial, eh, Urinal?
No tears to weep over the hostages who were denied their habeas corpus rights like a mofo, I guess they were the wrong brand of raghead, no? Trial delay denied ex-bin Laden driver- A U.S. military judge refused to postpone the trial of former Osama bin Laden driver Salim Hamdan. Navy Capt. Keith Allred, the military judge in the case, said the defense has enough time to study a recent Supreme Court decision ruling that all detainees have the right to petition federal judges for release and see how it might apply to the first Guantanamo war crimes tribunal.-Urinal/PMS
Can the message be anymore clear; kill innocents and gain respect from the drive by lib media, kill terrorists and you are despised by these candy as-s surrender monkey libs?
Now for the good news that the Urinal/DNC refuses to print-
PESHAWAR, Pakistan — Pakistani forces bombarded suspected militant hideouts with mortar shells Saturday as the government launched a major offensive against Taliban fighters threatening the main city in the country’s volatile northwest, officials said.

These days, things are starting to look better for the airline. A colossal $5.5 billion contract between Iraqi Airways and Boeing — among the largest the fledgling Iraqi government has funded to date — was recently signed to foster its expansion.
It was an important moment in the country’s post-war development — and its significance was underscored by the presence of Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki and other dignitaries at the contract-signing ceremony last month. The multi-billion dollar order shows a confidence in growth that was not evident even a year ago.
That jewel in Iraqi Airways’ crown will buy 50 new and second-hand jets from Boeing and Canadian aircraft manufacturer Bombardier, including 10 of Boeing’s 787 Dreamliners.
Yeah, let’s cut and run.

Vote for me. Free Marta. Half Price gas. Mandatory handguns for all drivers, (with hair triggers). Legalized gambling and prostitution, (with hairpie triggers). Jim has a nice survey of poiticians. That Poythress sounds so good I think the Republicans had better start looking in a big hurry.
But the big surprise of the morning came from AJC/DNC Management. He posted that… Iraqi AirWays is buying planes from Boeing!!IRAQI AIRWAYS???? I am delighted that Iraqis have advanced enough to have an airline or improve a previous effort. Sounds like the surge has made them airborne. Freedom inspires entrepreneurs in all levels of society.

Hopefully the next governor will give a da** about the recreation of average citizens by conserving our natural areas rather than “preserving” them for personal use (development)for himself and cronies. Remember Oaky Woods down below Macon? Yep, the DNR is now paying about 3X what it cost them before Sonnydo sat on his tail and let his buddies steal OW.
It is also a shame Georgia pols let neighbor Tennessee preserve thousands of acres for their citizens while Ga preserves only a few hundreds. This is the latest Vol state land preserving. The state and locals have done a wonderful job compared to Ga. http://www.knoxnews.com/news/2008/jun/28/piece-by-piece-preservation/

Did you read the headline about the top cop who sez: wear saggy pants, and get arrested?
Finally, all of us fat aging baby boomers have an excuse to hike our pants up high.
Just like our pa done, and his pa and so on and so on and so on….
Love that Hannah Montanna song, “See you again”.
Best lyrics in ages, folks. “Last time I freakded out, I just kept looking down, I s-s-stuttered when, you ask me what I’m thinking ‘bout, I felt I couldn’t breath, you asked what’s wrong with me…..”
Of course this is not “Get it on, Bang a gong”, or “hubcap diamond star halo” level stuff, but it’s still good and when I listen to the song I feel tingly…all over my body!
Here’s hoping Dusty accumulates gads of frequent flier miles on Iraqi Airways. This is fertile ground for material. Lets see if she can write some jokes instead of all that hatespeak she hacks from Rush and Hannity all day everyday ad nauseum, (fit only for a mausoleum).
Any one who travels on Iraqi Airways must be gay, because all the passengers are light’n their loafers.
Dont complain about the service or get too drunk cause they’ll throw you off the plane, literally.
Avoid long lines at the luggage carousel. Fly Iraqi Airways and get delivered right to the front door….literally.

Do you honestly believe that Georgia’s gubernatorial race will be more fun than the presidential race we’re watching at present?
I don’t!
Watching the Obamanized MSM tout his “flop(s)” as pragmatic or as displays of complex “thinking” is hilarious.
Talk about mind control for and by the Big O…
Only a conservative can sit back and enjoy watching liberals dancing in the nuance.
Leftists…the Democrats’ pod people.

You’re a man? Hiking up your pants? I know women wear slacks but haven’t seen any “hiking” them up. But..Leslie Howard was a man… I never saw him hiking his pants up either in GWTW. This does get confusing. Sweet mysteries of life!!
Jokes?? Well, I don’t know any but I sure get a laugh out of liberals here. I know. It is not polite to laugh at those who can’t get it together but libs are better than a barrel of monkeys.
Over at the Mausoleum things are kinda quiet. We just sit and enjoy watching Obama drift rapidly down stream where the rapids are. Poor baby. He couldn’t paddle his own canoe through a swimming pool. Maybe he will take Jeremiah’s place since he’s got the silver tongue and the background. Michelle could take up the offering as that is probably ONE thing she would enjoy in America.
I hope Iraqi Airways does get off the ground. Yes! Something tells me Delta is not holding its breath.

I measured them one time, I did. Just to be sure. It’s true. My right leg is shorter than my left leg. Most people don’t even realize that one leg is shorter than the other. It’s just a part of being an imperfect creature I guess. Anyway, the thing about the right leg being just a little bit shorter is that it makes you drift off, ever so slowly, to the right whenever you go somewhere. It’s so slow that it’s hard to notice until one day you look around and find that everything looks strange and uninviting — kinda scary even. That’s the moment when you realize that you need a little course correction — not too much, not too little but enough to set things straight again. I’ve found for my case that a correction is needed about every eight years — sometimes more, sometimes less. Of course, some folks will need to make more drastic corrections if they find themselves drifting to the extremes too often. The problem lies in realizing when you need that course correction but isn’t that always the case. After all, when you’ve listed long enough you begin to think that it’s the world that’s tilted instead of you. Isn’t that right, Mr. Wooten.

““Conservatism” has died, and its rotting corpse is quickly becoming a writhing, foul-smelling, diseased maggot pit that truly should be carted away and incinerated for the common good. Soon President Barack Obama will place his powerful foot on the necks of the scum who still adhere to that failed ideology, and he will keep it there for at least eight years, until “Conservatism” is rightfully and permanently relegated to the ash heap of history alongside its fellow failures such as fascism and communism.”

Anyone catch the Obama-Clinton love connection? What a farce! You can tell how stupid people are looking at these politicians pretending to be sincere in their respect for each other. (COME on, the Clintoons lambasted Obama for being BLACK???)
Look no further than this pic right here when both these political fallacies walked on stage in New Hampshire.
See how they are both pointing to “some” person in their audience? Ever wonder why the lamestream media doesn’t ask these characters what they are pointing at?
I’ll tell you. It’s a fraud. They see NOBODY in the audience they know. It’s a psychological mind game with the idiot audience that’s already mesmerized with the disease of liberalism to make the stage show (I’d call this a side show myself) representatives look like they are already elected. Fortunately, no gaping mouthed idiot lib passed out here in front of Obama - that I’m aware of anyway.
And while I’m talking about this side show of losers, the song played during the event was by Brooks & Dunn - that redneck country bad - called “Only In America” or something like that.
Do you think B&D gave their permission for this fraudulent Kamp to play that song? I only ask because Bruce Springsteen, who can’t really sing - he just shouts, soiled his BVDs when Bush played one of his songs during a campaign event.

Bill Clinton says Barack Obama must ‘kiss my as-s’ for his support
Hey, it’s better than what Kathleen Wiley had to do.
The Telegraph has learned that the former president’s rage is still so great that even loyal allies are shocked by his patronising attitude to Mr Obama, and believe that he risks damaging his own reputation by his intransigence.
Like he’s ever given a flying F.
“You can’t talk like that about Obama - he’s the nominee of your party, not some house boy you can order around.
Well, let’s just see:
Mr Obama was more effusive at his unity event with Mrs Clinton on Friday, speaking fondly of the absent former president, who attended Nelson Mandela’s birthday celebrations in London instead. The candidate told the crowd: “I know how much we need both Bill and Hillary Clinton as a party. They have done so much great work. We need them badly.”
Which part of your hairy as-s would you like me to place my lips on Mr. KKKlinton?

I haven’t watched MTV since the 1980s when REAL musical art existed (REAL music is art that moves through time and written from scratch, not some re-mix horsepiss representative of today’s crapola called “music” on the radio), but it appears that they are finally REALLY going political (I know, a real shocker) and agree to accept ads from political candidates. “Rock The Vote” was for nothing but a bunch of mindless tatooed liberal 18-25 year old stoners.
WASHINGTON (AdAge.com) — Politicians can finally get their MTV. After declining political advertising since its inception in 1981, MTV is reversing course. The Viacom MTV Networks channel — once known for round-the-clock music videos and now home to a host of reality shows — says it will now take political ads, though only from political candidates and party political committees, not from third parties. As recently as the presidential primaries this year, MTV had refused all political ads, even as it has heavily promoted its “Choose or Lose” get-out-the-vote effort.
Gee, inquiring minds wanna know: would MTV have agreed to this if Shrillary had won the nomination? I know the answer. Bet you do too.

WASHINGTON - An electronic surveillance bill has cleared an important hurdle in the Senate. A test vote on the measure Wednesday won the support of 80 senators who want to begin debate. Only 15 senators tried to kill the bill by blocking the debate. Opponents are upset that the bill would protect from lawsuits those telecommunications companies that allegedly helped the government eavesdrop on American phone and computer lines without approval from a court for nearly six years after the Sept. 11 attacks. The Senate is expected to vote on final passage by late Thursday. The House approved the bill last week.

Big, summertime leads in presidential contests can vanish, though. Comparisons are already being drawn with 1988 Democratic nominee Michael Dukakis, who looked like a mortal lock after he bounced, in late July, to a 17-point advantage over George H. W. Bush.
Obama has been aptly described as elusive. And while a candidate may want to fuzz his image—to gain the widest possible appeal and keep from alienating potential supporters—it is the news media’s responsibility to sharpen the picture.
Or in the Urinal’s case, blow big billowing clouds of bullsh!t to obscure the fact that Obambi is a dimwit.
Obama “has to show me that he’s got the intelligence and the people around him to make a difference globally,” she says. “I want to see concrete plans, not just spin.”

The green lifestyle boosters have told us that we can make a relatively painless transition to a green economy, and even benefit from new “green-collar jobs,” by moving to “alternative fuels.” This all sounds great when expressed in woozy generalities and vague promises-but then gas prices deliver the first taste of what the new green economy actually entails.
With many people complaining that gasoline is at $4 per gallon-a significant cost, especially for rural and blue-collar workers who drive low-gas-mileage trucks to work-the environmentalists cannot deny that they plan to drive the price even higher, as well as raising the cost of every other major source of energy.
The fact that rising gas prices hit the poor harder than the rich also opens up an internal fissure within the left: the unresolved contradiction between the Old Left and the New Left.
The result was the New Left. Since socialism had not been able to raise the people of what was then called the “Third World” out of a primitive lifestyle, the New Left declared instead that a primitive lifestyle is the ideal, and that we should try to emulate it here. The centerpiece of that campaign has been environmentalism.

Former UN secretary general Kofi Annan on Tuesday called for ‘climate justice’, saying that it was polluters who should pay for the effects of climate change, and not the poorest and most vulnerable. He said funding should be made available to help disadvantaged communities adapt to the effects of global warming as he urged for the international community to focus on adaptation measures.
Kofi The Inkompetent Korrupt can run ^^that^^ thought right up his a-ss with a global warming causing blow torch. We’ve already seen what korrupt nations do with our money for alleged “caring” causes. And the worthless, toothless UN can’t seem to do a DAMN thing about it.

From Bartcop:
“Enroning America:
Republicans are funneling billions into the coffers of their oil baron backers; it’s no surprise
Bush and McCain aren’t pushing for renewable energy. The Bush/McCain gas price escalation
is an Enron rerun. It is Chapter 2 of the scam that Bush crony “Kenny Boy” Lay used in
1999-2001 to steal $100 billion from California ratepayers.
Now this administration is replicating that crisis to funnel untold billions into the coffers
of its oil baron backers … and to push the failed strategies of offshore drilling and nuke power…
Contrived or otherwise, today’s soaring gas prices are a tangible bonanza for Bush/McCain.
Offshore drilling would put billions in their cronies’ pockets but would not lower gas prices.
Nuke power could mean billions more in radioactive lucre for reactor builders who may
never deliver a single electron of electricity.”
The Bush B******* will continue to screw America and the world until someone says “Stop!” Know where we can find somebody willing to do that?
I know, let’s get Pat Leahy to write them a hot letter.”
Godfather is big oil and their mafia is Congress. The rape on your wallets will continue.
Our friends on the right, mindlessly support the criminals and should be ignored.
They just can’t help themselves and have lost the ability to determine right from wrong. The moral compass, if you will.

Obama to visit Atlanta July 7- Urinal/PMS
Gee, I wonder if the libs at the AJC will whine about the traffic mess caused by The Messiah’s motorcade, like they do every time Bushie or Cheney comes to town?
We shall see.
~~~~~
Oh my, a five part series of crying jags from the Urinal/ Chicken Little’s:
Doom & gloom enter the room- War, gas and food, global warming, blah, blah, blah … Manageable blip, or looming disaster?-Urinal/PMS
I know, the dhimmokrat controlled congress really sucks, don’t they?
How much more of their do nothing ways can we endure?
Can our suburbs survive $5 gas? $8 gas?
So instead of the Socialist Bicycle Utopia that we’ve heard so much about from the Pinko Nation, we must conserve, blah, blah, now we come to find out that Democrat Congress caused high energy prices are ruinous to the poor and middle class.
Isn’t that sweet, dhimmokrat policy wreak havoc on the economy and the libs get to whine about it like some trophy they bagged.
Insane.
On Friday, by the way, a government scientist said there’s a 50-50 chance that there will be no ice at the North Pole this summer —- for the first time.-Urinal/Dumbas-s
If if and buts were candy and nuts, the pinkos would all weigh about 500 lbs. apiece.
Anybody want to make a substantial monetary wager that by the end of this summer we won’t hear a peep from the libs about the ice at the North Pole still being there?
This is a perfect example of “drive by media,” the libs float a fake speculative story about an impending doom and then drive off, leaving the rest of us all shot up and bleeding. Well, at least those of you stupid enough to place any trust in what the pinkos tell you.
July is the North Pole’s warmest month, when the mean temperature rises to a freezing 32 degrees Fahrenheit (0 degrees Celsius). In frigid February the average plummets to -31 degrees Fahrenheit (-35 degrees Celsius). Wind chills make these temperatures even worse and create one of the planet’s most inhospitable environments.
Gee, how can ice melt if the temperatures never make it above freezing? Gosh, I thought man’s activity was causing heat trapping gases to accumulate in the atmosphere. Shouldn’t this make the North Pole warmer? Is this too hard for the studied “geniuses” of the left to understand?
Hmmm, I wonder if the intensity of the Sun is increasing?
By the way, has anyone checked out the forecast for this week in Hotlanta? Low 80’s in July for the next week?
What good could possibly come from bombarding the citizens of this great country with all these fake sob stories and what of all the POS that come out of the woodwork to lend their name to this sicko campaign?
Are these the people we want in charge of the country?
Like little babies, if they don’t like something they just whine and moan until moomy makes it all better for them.
What kind of future will this bring us?
Now for the good news, believe me a Conservative will find a silver lining in even the fake clouds, newspaper circulations and ad revenues are plummeting!
Can I get an amen?
The American people are not stupid, they know this is all bullsh!t, a work of mindless fiction, and they are putting it right where it belongs. On the ash heap of history.
Buh-bye AJC.
~~~~~
Just filling prisons won’t make us safer-Queen Pinko, Urinal
It already has.
In several speeches, Barack Obama has used an easy, if imprecise, formulation to express his despair over the high incarceration rate of young black men. “I don’t want to wake up four years from now and discover that we still have more young black men in prison than in college,”…….. But it’s not accurate. If you were to check with academic and criminal justice sources, you’d find, happily, that there are far more young black men in college —- about 530,000, ages 18 to 24 —- than in prison —- about 106,000 in the same age group. Still, Obama’s count expresses a larger truth.
So Obambi is a well meaning dimwit, eh?
It has swept up legions of black men whose biggest crime was being poor and buying their drugs on ghetto street corners, making them easy targets of police officers who swoop down and make busts to boost their arrest numbers. If the same drug users were more affluent, they could buy their drugs discreetly and avoid arrest.
O.K. so now we know how the pinko feels, we should make it easy on the little darlings to smoke crack and destroy their lives.
And the Conservative thinks to himself, gee, I wonder if the drugs might be the reason these people are poor, stupid and locked up?
Lib policies and lib ideas encourage failure.
Is that what we really want to be?
A nation of addicts and junkies laid up all day while a few people work for meager wages and high burdensome taxes to pay for it?

“Buh-bye AJC.”
Heheheh. Of course, raising the weekday “news” stand price of that “news” paper to $.75 will really help things out too. Since dumping my Atlanta Urinal Constipation subscription not long after Election 2000 (after which every liberal “news” reporter in this city and around the nation lost their marbles and what thin ice objectivity they still crawled on), all I can say is that I’m glad I have that tiny bit of several hundred dollars saved in one of my retirement accounts helping it to grow money, tax free - tax free that is, unless some economically clueless Marxist liberal DemoRAT like Obama becomes president. (To which event I already have a plan in place - no worries).
“Lib policies and lib ideas encourage failure.”
It starts in our public, government run schools around this nation. Pantywaste liberals run our schools and universities (red state, blue state, it doesn’t matter). Any doubts? Look which political party the NEA openly supports (that’s National Education Association - aka Teacher’s Union - for you pseudo 1970s mop-headed tattooed mindless liberal RATs in Little Five Points).
Half of Americans say U.S. schools are doing only a fair to poor job preparing kids for college and the work force. Even more feel that way about the skills kids need to survive as adults, an Associated Press poll released Friday finds. “A lot of kids, when they get out school, are kind of lost,” said Jamie Norton, a firefighter in Gridley, Calif. “When you get out of high school, what are you educated to do?”
What the hell do you THINK? Why, you are to b*** about your pathetic life who can’t get ahead and then go vote as a mindless gaping mouthed Democrat to “fix” all of your “problems” that aren’t “your fault.” Convenient and slick as hell, no?
^^That^^ is the real danger to this nation, besides those gaping mouthed cave dwelling 6th Century radical Islamic animals that want to destroy the entire West and instill their version of Sharia Law - of which mindless liberal Democrats deny a real threat looms. (Unless we get attacked, then the little whimpering skirts representing the modern sick left will say that Bush actually attacked the nation - either that - or he didn’t do enough to prevent the attack).
Like a cystic colon polyp, you know the effect of mindless gutter liberalism on this nation - and damn is it painful.

Told ya so. Over a month ago I said the Obamaniacs would play the race card and claim racism if a voter fails to vote for Obama (voting for McCain because you find his beliefs closer to yours than Dr. Marx is irrelevant - YOU would still be a racist).
Well, leave it to the Obamaniac Camp itself to claim that it’s going to be the Republicans who are going to use race in the election! Yes, you read that correctly - these same incompetents sat around and said NOTHING when Gerri Ferraro said that Obama “wouldn’t be where he was if he were white.” Yes, these same morons sat around and said NOTHING when the Klinton Kampaign ran amok with racist undertones in the Shrill vs. Obamania throwdown. Well, read it and laugh:
JACKSONVILLE, Florida (Reuters) - Democratic presidential contender Barack Obama said on Friday he expects Republicans to highlight the fact that he is black as part of an effort to make voters afraid of him.
NO evidence, NO quotes, NOTHING. Just false accusations and another mindless incompetent comment from Obamania. Besides, every Republican who’s not six feet under right now KNOWS that even THINKING about bringing up race would be political suicide.
If anyone ever had any doubts about the competence, judgment, and I dare say intelligence of Obama need look no further than that statement by itself. Put it out there. Let that stupidity stand on it’s own merit.

I see the diseased liberal demonrat fungus saw some sunshine and perked up this morning. Anyone have any weed killer handy - or rat poison?
From the “Smartest Woman In The World” files:
The new reports show Clinton’s debt has risen to $22.5 million - $12 million of which is in personal loans she poured into her campaign - and she reported only $3 million in available cash. More debt is expected to be reported in the coming weeks. In a conference last week, Clinton urged her top fund-raisers to support Obama but also asked that she at least get enough money to pay back her vendors - an estimated $10 million. The New York senator said she was willing to take a total loss on her personal loans.
Don’t worry. There are enough mindless people in this nation to buy her future “memoirs” book just like that “husband” of hers. Oh that reminds me, late the other night one of the CSPAN channels was replaying the Obamania-Shrill Love Connection meet in New Hampshire. One of said mindless liberals shouted from the audience to Shrillary: “You Rock!” Uhm, ok. About as intelligent a comment as “Yes We Can!” or “Change!”.
Like I said, there are plenty of mindless liberals out there to bail this woman out which is by far the biggest disaster of political campaigning in the entire history of the United States. Leave it to a Democrat to earn that mark.
Don’t you kind of feel sorry for all those mindless liberals who gave money to the Smartest Woman In The World? Perhaps a teeny little bit? No? Me neither. Hehehehe…

Believe you me….the conservative media is talking about McCain’s flip-flops as just that. While we remain suspicious of his historical liberalism, we’re likin’ what we’re seein’. McCain didn’t use us and abuse us to get the nomination. We gave him our votes with fair warning.

Rep. “Troll: One who posts a deliberately provocative message to a newsgroup or message board with the intention of causing maximum disruption and argument “
Trolls keep up what they are doing because, like little kids, they like the attention. If you ignore them they will eventually go away due to lack of said attention. The New York Slimes (whose lap the Urinal Constipation sits in) really knows how to twist and contort things like a balloon clown:
Barack Obama has taken a stroll this week away from traditional liberal political positions, his path toward the political center marked by artful leaps and turns.
Note the words “artful” and “leaps” and “turns” there in place of FLIP FLOPPING. Even the headline said:
“White House hopeful takes calibrated positions on variety of issues”
Calibrated??? Pretty slick, like diarrhea, eh? But it gets better from that worthless snotrag of liberalism:
“On Thursday, he seemed to embrace a Supreme Court decision, written by the court’s premiere conservative and upheld 5-to-4, striking down Washington, D.C.’s ban on handguns.”
First, note the comment of “premiere conservative” there. Have you ever heard the Slimes mention “liberal” in any Supreme Court ruling? Me neither. But to the bigger point, NO Obamania did NOT fully “embrace” the decision as the Slimes would lead you to believe:
http://apnews.myway.com/article/20080626/D91I1FJ00.html
It’s all about perception and how thngs are written. The Slimes is a perfect example of liberal propaganda at its finest.

The neocons are kicking and screaming about gas prices and global warming. They are still speaking of how much they support our troops, yet, they have not offered themselves or any members of their families for combat.
Now, you have your chance. The US Special Forces and the CIA, according to many news sources, are making raids into Iran. Is it because they are afraid that Israel will carry out their threat to attack Iran’s nuclear facilities, or, are we bring freedom, democracy and “building schools for the little children?”
You did notice that Iran said if they are attacked, they oil lanes - where 60% of the worlds’ oil flows - will be vulnerable to retribution?
Our economy and the world’s economy is in/entering a recession and we have folks speaking of attacking another country to stop their nuclear programs. Is that what they did with North Korea? Were they not an original member of the “axis of evil?” Having the means to protect your country gives your adversaries second thoughts about employing military force on your country, one would think!
