{{{{94% of Americans are happy or somewhat satisfied with their current situation, Harris Interactive poll says.}}}}

Meanwhile, the AJC remains mired in the 6% and their sob stories:

{{{{Day labor ills prove a failed job for local officials By Mike King The Atlanta Journal-Constitution}}}}

Boo, hoo, hoo, from the corruption and the mudhuts of Mexico to the well paying jobs with free health care and schooling for their children, how horrible!!

We must shower tax dollars on them now! That’s it, buy them a new car.

~~~~~~
{{{{Pre-Radicalization: Some characteristics of “pedigree, lifestyle, religion, social status, neighborhood and education” are common “just prior to the start of their journey” down the path to violent jihad. They’re not poor. “Middle class families and students appear to provide the most fertile ground for the seeds of radicalization,” the report concludes. They are mostly male Muslims under the age of 35 and local residents or citizens of Western liberal democracies. Some of “the most vulnerable” were born to other faiths and recently converted to Islam. They are of varied ethnic backgrounds—and almost all are “clean skins” in police parlance.}}}}
In other words, they’ve lived their lives sheltered in the well being of American but for some reason or another hate America.
Just like a liberal does.
~~~~~~

{{{{Anonymity on rare occasions may have a place in protecting whistleblowers or honest journalistic sources fearful of retaliation. But lately it is being misused in a variety of different contexts to destroy people and institutions — and as a way for authors of all sorts to avoid responsibility for what they write.}}}}

For instance:

{{{{But the death toll was put as high as 500 by some local officials. None of the officials provided information on how they arrived at their estimates. The carnage dealt a serious blow to the Bush administrations hopes of presenting a positive picture in a progress report on Iraq to be delivered by the top U.S. commander, Gen. David Petraeus, and U.S. Ambassador Ryan Crocker in about four weeks.-Urinal}}}}

So one huge cowardly terrorist attack by Al Qaeda foreigners, killing hundreds of innocent men, women and children and the liberals want to scurry away from bringing the murderers to justice.

Would this be how they react to another attack on America, by hiding from reality?

Liberals, doing the bidding of Al Qaeda:

{{{{That’s one of the two reasons al Qaeda targeted those settlements: The terrorist leaders realize now that the carnage they wrought on fellow Muslims backfired, turning once-sympathetic Sunni Arabs against them. The fanatics calculated that Iraqis wouldn’t care much about the Yazidis. But the second reason for those dramatic bombings was that al Qaeda needs to portray Iraq as a continuing failure of U.S. policy. Those dead and maimed Yazidis were just props: The intended audience was Congress.}}}}

We can call our democrat Congressman “puppets.”

What’s with all the sports stuff lately? No matter where I go online, they’re throwing me into some locker room with the smelly uniforms.

Signals?

There’s a big difference between the Democrat’s signals to the enemy and those that the administration wants to send.

As the Democratic party’s favorite non-proliferation expert, Joseph Cirincione, told the Washington Post, “All of us want to back Iran into a corner, but we want to give them a way out, too. [The designation] will convince many in Iran’s elite that there’s no point in talking with us and that the only thing that will satisfy us is regime change.”

((The truth is we have been giving Iran a way out since we signed the Algiers Accord of 1981 officially ending the first of many Iranian hostage crises. We apologized for the CIA’s role in the 1953 coup that consolidated the power of the Palavis. The Israelis sold them missiles to release American and European hostages from the clutches of Hezbollah. We dealt them into the reconstruction of Afghanistan and allowed their old Shi’ia proxies to form the ruling coalition in Iraq that replaced Saddam. Mr. Bush has offered to have the west build Iran’s nuclear reactors if only the Islamic Republic would adhere to its original promise to suspend uranium enrichment.))

Did I hear the other day that the NBA ref who was throwing some games for his gambling debts “copped a plea” deal? I think I heard that he got a few years in prison for this felony?

Is there really any difference between the Democrat’s junior varsity teams and the Democrat’s varsity teams? I think not…

“We’ve let you down, and there is no excuse for this,” Hynes said in opening the day at the traditional Democratic County Chairmen’s breakfast. “It’s supposed to be a day of unity. It’s certainly supposed to be a day of celebration. Frankly, I don’t feel there’s a lot to celebrate today.”

But even Hynes’ act of contrition became the subject of squabbling. Gov. Rod Blagojevich contended that Hynes apologized for “standing in the way” of state worker paychecks, which the comptroller has denied. The governor said he had ——>nothing to apologize for as long as he kept pushing plans for expanding health care.<——

I believe they call ^^^ that “schtick” ball.

((Blagojevich, however, could not identify to reporters a single project that he was planning to cut from the budget plan to achieve his half-billion-dollar goal of finding money for health-care. When asked by reporters if he would cut any of the pork projects sought by Jones, his top legislative ally, the governor did not answer.))

I believe they call ^^^ that a “foul-smelling” ball.

The old referee signaling something other than by-the-bookie gag.

Old joke. Done to death. Usually involving “Backfield in motion finger points to the patoot”, or “elbow bending drinking mime for bud light”, or it can be anything.

Old, old joke, and frankly, lucko, you’ve gone to the street well one too many times for me.

Originality is 90% of funny, man. The one thing I hate worse than any thing else on the planet is a hack.

Damn it. WTF? Surely you have a staff of brainstormers? If not, then Surely you have all day to sit there and run through the ideas. Work the grid. Set up the spreadsheet and work it. Okay, you’ve got a ref, (loose ball foul), a basketball controversy, (is it an offensive charging foul, or a defensive interference foul like touching or punching, or kicking or stabbing or bludgeoning) and a gambling insinuation, (a dribble they couldn’t refuse, three point line, goaltending, out of bounds, traveling walking, double dribble, backboarding, the your momma slam dunk…..

you’re right, there’s nothing but the street joke here.

nevermind.

I’ve always suspected the referees were cheating. This hurts basketball because now I’m convinced they were cheating. Close games with suspect calls now could see soccor fan style riots in basketball games, because in basketball, you’re not allowed to touch anyone for any reason, yet they practical pro-wrestle each other out there, so the frustration level is already too high for comfort.

I predict an all out sustained riot soon in basketball. We had several close calls last year, so watch out now that fans have reason to believe that the games are not fair.

Cheat a sports fan, and watch him act out.

The operation at Tora Bora today is a desperate attempt by W to add gloss to the Surge, which only works where it works.

To complete the surge’s mission, we will need 500K troops, and then we can point to a mission of accomplishment.

It is going to take drastic changes to save this country and doubt the swamp in Washington is capable of drastic change.

Looks like we will collapse like Russia and start over deep in China’s debt. China will use this economic nuke threat to agree to their conditions.

I wonder if the 1000 people polled in duh’s poll are informed, very wealthy or just plain ignorant to the world around them.

Being informed is depressing and it would be nice to live in la, la land and not know what the hell is going on.

We had our entire army at Tora Bora. Al QUEDA was surrounded. General Franks, who is the worst general we’ve ever had, including his namesake general who ruined desert storm in 1991, couldn’t organize a boy scout pancake breakfast without letting some girlscouts sneak in and spit in the batter. (and then run away laughing).

So what if we’ve got some border patrols coordinating with other troops in closing off some of the more obvious ancient migratory routes in that labyrinth of caves and tunnels and mountain peaks called the afghanistan/pakistan border.

Ask the Spartans at Thermonopoly how easy it is to get behind an entire army with the lessor known routes. (do not pass go)

Ask Gen. Hooker at Chancellorsville how easy it is to sneak around the right flank of an entire army and ATTACK!

Ask Hannibal what happens when you let GOP elephants run amok in a battle zone and one guy from the enemy’s side has a trumpet. (squish, you’re a pile of poo).

I don’t want to rule indefinitely, says Chávez

Sure you don’t! Better to take a “Hugo or You Go” approach.

((The BBC reported that he also proposed implementing a maximum six-hour working day, increasing presidential control over the central bank and strengthening state economic powers to allow the government to control assets of private companies.))

Let’s see now does that six-hour work day encompass the traditional two-hour siesta?

((He said he and members of a presidential commission were redrafting it so that capitalism in Venezuela “finishes dying” to make way for socialism.))

((He added that many other reforms were likely to be “red capes” like those used by a bullfighter “to distract Venezuelans from his real objective”.))

It’s important to remember how Hugo got elected. He handed out cow manure to poor people. As I recall, they needed it to heat their homes while Hugo uses his people’s oil to promote only HIMSELF.

“The surge is good.

“The surge is good. Dont look so shocked. Why get out of bed in the morning without your flack jacket unless you have a surge? You cant! Am I right?

Not afraid of other countries attacking us.

But I am afraid of people like you that would sell out this country and it’s freedoms and rights while gaining nothing for the cost!

You who would destroy and desecrate the very thing that our founding fathers and true patriots fought for. Freedom and INDIVIDUAL rights.

You who would have “Government by the Government”, (or corporation and lobbyist), instead of Government by the People for the People.

Does it rankle you that the “United States Constitution” and “Bill of Rights” says that that drunk bum panhandling in the street has the same rights and authority that you have to vote and live free of government interference in his life?

I’m sure you would be happy to sell out all of the constitutional rights so that you could sit in your ivory tower above everyone you can and be a mini dictator of who gets rights and who doesn’t in this country. I’m reading the blog piece-meal today.

I’ll let you know if Stratfor reports on the SCO’s meeting. Stratfor usually waits for detailed outcomes before reporting. Their’s is not a knee-jerk and uninformed response to global affairs.

The thing I found most interesting was how citizens within the countries of the SCO members were marching on U.S. embassies pleading for our help against the human rights violations that they suffer under their own government.

Russia, in particular is committing egregious atrocities against Muslims.

and to think, Ahmadenijad was invited to the meeting. Kinda makes you wonder if either/or REALLY cares for their people or the people in the other member’s countries.

Nope, the American embassies is where their people have to go for help.

(((In Russia, Human Rights Watch has documented how Russian and pro-Moscow Chechen authorities routinely torture people accused of terrorism. Human Rights Watch also documented how Russian police tortured, ill-treated and harassed individuals returned to Russia from Guantanamo Bay, even though the Russian government issued diplomatic assurances to the U.S. government that they would not be harmed.)))

Try to keep up. NATO joined us in Afghanistan several years ago. I guess you didn’t notice all the soldiers from other countries there.

The largest number of US forces are now engaged in fighting terrorists in Iraq. That is to give Iraqis their own government and us to have a safer future from terrorism. It isn’t easy or pleasant but a far cry from what could happen otherwise in the future.

Saying that “Bush lied” is a manufactured lie in itself. I know you can’t see any farther than the DNC bulletins for next week but give it a try. We prefer to fight terrorists in Iraq rather than having them roam freely throughout the world.

No Doubt!

It would fall under the category of a natural disaster.

But my question was - what would be the culpable responsibility of the United States to the surviving families of the victims killed at Gitmo.

After all - As our prisoners, we are currently responsible for their safety and well being (as well as survival).

What if we knew there was a serious danger and instead of evacuating Gitmo, we let them die?

By the way — FYI — estimates are that this hurricane will be category 4 when it hits Cuba,.

I have for a while, like most good right-wing Americans, been praying for another 9/11 to “wake us up” as Fox News instructed me that it would. Yet days, weeks, months go by and still no attack. I’m getting impatient.

It makes you wonder whether the terrorists and the libs have conspired together and decided not to attack so that Bush will remain unpopular and that America will remain divided on the war on terror. Their plan is that we lose the War on Terror for lack of Terror.

Well I for one see their little game of winning the War on Terror by not attacking us, but before God I promise that we will not lose the War on Terror simply because they stopped attacking us!

Dusty, Duh, Danish and the rest of the real Americans out there, I hope that you will pray with me that thousands of Americans be killed by terrorists before its too late. Perhaps one of you fine people can convert to Islam and kill a bunch of Americans yourselves. You know its for the good of the country.

The Democrats want us to lose in Iraq and lose the War on Terror because they are traitorous anti-American scum. They would never go so far as to wish that a bunch of their countryman die in a terrorist attack. The reason is because they don’t take this war seriously. The Democrats saw the devastation of 9/11 and wanted that to be the last one. Republicans saw the devastation of 9/11 and said “a few more would be even better.”

I wrote and challenged the Health Ministry to meet with me for a dialogue, in which I would provide the proof, and they would have to prove me wrong. But they refused. Allah be praised, the fact that I followed this issue bore fruit, and thousands of children were saved from the claws of the Jewish movement, which is represented by the whatchamacallit…”))

Your recall of historical events are so accurate and not cluttered by hyperbole like many of the libs. I mean they say things like Bush is dumb or Bush lied as if they don’t realize how that undercuts their credibility whereas you just state the bare facts just as they are. You and Fox share that quality which is one reason why I picked up their argument that we should wish for Al Qaeda to kill a bunch of Americans and ran with it. It really is a good idea.

We good patriotic Americans only want a few thousand to die in a terrorist attack for the greater good. How can the GOP protect you from terror attacks? By praying for them. It’s a little bit of a nuanced argument I know, but I think most of us are smart enough to understand how important it is that a bunch of Americans be killed…and soon. The people of Iran, but not the people of Ahmadenijad.

((We now have a much better picture of the Iranian people’s political attitudes, thanks to a poll sponsored by the Center For the Promotion of Democracy and Human Rights. Popular discontent with the mullahs’ rule has created an opportunity for regime change, if we have the wit to exploit it.))

Did you know that 58% of the Iranians questioned would support military action for the purpose of regime change? 67% said they would support regime change through a “Velvet Revolution”, but only 45% believe a “Velvet Revolution” is possible.

Two thirds said that if they could turn back the clock, they would not support the Islamic Revolution.

Almost two thirds do not agree with President Ahmadinejad about the holocaust. 78% do not agree that Israel should be destroyed. Over half of those interviewed do not advocate the policy of support for Hamas and 61% disagree with the Iranian financing of Hezbollah.

Ripe err…Right! Got it.

Ooops, I quit reading this wonderful person’s post to early:

{{{{By nut job August 16, 2007 6:30 PM Personally, I am hoping on them taking out the entire city of Atlanta. I hope you live/work their because I know you will be glad to take one for the team.}}}}

See, there is the exact difference that make Conservatives and liberals who they really are.

I’ll bet you really do wish I got killed, which is good, it means that you are stewing in your stupid, infantile, retarded KKK little world of hate.

Wish is just what I was wishing for.
