{{{White House press secretary Tony Snow fought back aggressively. In an approach reminiscent of the blame game played by the White House with another Democratic governor, Kathleen Blanco of Louisiana, after the federal government’s botched response to Hurricane Katrina, Snow said the fault for any slow response would be Sebelius, Kansas democrat Governor. He said she should have followed procedure by finding gaps and then asking the federal government to fill them - but didn’t. “If you don’t request it, you’re not going to get it,” he told reporters Tuesday morning.}}}

As I said many times before, all a lib knows how to do is whine, not run a government. We can’t read your sniveling Coward minds.

{{{Snow recounted a phone conversation on Tuesday between Sebelius, democrat and Bush’s White House-based homeland security adviser, Fran Townsend, in which the governor said she was pleased with the federal performance on the tornado and had everything she needed. About the same time, Sebelius was doing her own backpedal from across the country. Her spokeswoman, Nicole Corcoran, said the governor didn’t mean to imply that the state was ill-equipped to deal with this storm. Sebelius’ comments about National Guard equipment were, instead, meant as a warning about the state’s inability to handle additional disasters, such as another tornado or severe flooding, she said. “We are doing absolutely fine right now,” Corcoran said. “What the governor is talking about is down the road.”}}}

On to serious matters.

How many of you are aware of the text of Zawahiri’s recent jihadist video? Did you know that he devotes (pun intended) a good portion of it to appealing to black muslims in the U.S., and specifically quotes Malik Shabaaz?

Probably not because the MSM is not reporting this delicate situation.

Zawahiri’s presentation introduces several new elements that may portend an increasing al-Qaeda effort to make itself part of domestic US politics and to appeal to the religious sentiments and societal and economic dissatisfactions of American Muslims, especially black Muslims…Zawahiri’s May 5 interview is, to date, al-Qaeda’s most sophisticated and nuanced attempt to bedevil US domestic politics, and it highlights the long-standing fascination that al-Qaeda and many other Islamist groups have had with the position of black Americans in US society, and the access they could potentially provide thereto.

{{{Al-Qaeda’s deputy said to black American Muslims, “I hope no one replies to me that blacks in America have been delivered from its tyranny because there are the likes of [former secretary of state] Colin Powell - the liar of the Security Council - and Condoleezza Rice in power.” Using what he claimed was Shabazz’s analysis, Zawahiri identified Powell and Rice as “house slaves”, blacks who prospered because they were obedient and helpful to their masters.}}}

Where have I heard this^^^ before? On Hannity and Colmes!

What a good Democrat he is! In addition to Malik Shabaaz’s heroic contributions, it sounds like Goldie and Daniel could be Al Qaeda consultants:

{{{ When asked about his view of the US troop surge in Baghdad and those who claim it is beginning to bear fruit, al-Qaeda’s No 2 claimed that the surge certainly is “bearing fruit”, but only in Bush’s “pockets and the pockets of Halliburton”.}}}

I never blamed anything on white people…on government—yes…on white people…no. I just took issue with Buy Danish’s and RW’s comment. What you fail to see is that three of my siblings are half-white, as well as several of my cousins. Why on earth would I be mad at white folks?

What difference does that make?

Other than the fact that it takes a giant dump on your moonbat fever swamp theory that Saddam would never, NEVER have worked with Al Qaeda, he wouldn’t even have thought of it.

If you were getting your head sawed off by some Islamic Loony, would you be wondering if he was with Al Qaeda or not?

These candy as-ses in the media are going to lull us right to sleep, straight into oblivion, we had better pull our heads out of our as-ses.

{{{Organizations such as the Middle East Media Research Institute (www.memri.org) and Palestinian Media Watch (www.pmw.org.il) have been warning for years about the twisted nature of public discourse in Arab and Muslim countries. Their Web sites, complete with videos and translations of material from Muslim media, offer chilling examples of the daily diet of the death culture. I have visited those sites and it is absolutely shocking to see how Arab and Iranian mainstream media promote violence and anti-Semitism. The sheer volume of this sickening garbage makes it clear that weare a long way from peace. The images, which shift easily from cartoon violence to grisly videos of the real thing in Iraq and elsewhere, illustrate the linkage. While we in the West endlessly study and debate the impact of video games on children’s behavior, the merchants of hate in the Mideast have no doubt. They know that using violent images is a surefire way to raise a new generation of madmen. The goal, openly stated, is to enlist children in the “culture of martyrdom” - to die fighting and killing the enemies of Islam. Suicide bombers are glorified and promised everlasting paradise. Grade-school textbooks fill children with dreams of a glorious death.}}}

Nancy yesterday talks about the high cost of gasoline and how it is a result of the failed Bush energy policy.

What a joke.

How about drilling in ANWR? How about drilling where Cuba is drilling, off the coast of Florida?

And especially, and more importantly, how about imposing some new legislation that allows for increased refineries?!? Ask anyone today that knows what is going on and they will tell you that the price of gas is greatly elevated due to the refinery capacity issues.

Who is in charge now? CAFE standards don’t work. Why? Cause too many Americans love their big honkin SUVs and luxury cars. They will still be built, and the automakers will barely get the “average” car to make the CAFE standards by producing unsafe micro-boxes.

Ethanol is not the answer. The energy produced to deliver it throughout the country is huge, due to the fact that it doesn’t have it’s own pipeline to travel in. More carbon is produced from Ethanol because it has to be trucked.

Ethanol is a horrible idea. In fact any fuel that has to be made from a natural product will take us right back to where we are with fossil fuels. Number 1, production can be manipulated. And when GW is already talking ethanol “cartels” that should tell you to go ahead and bend over because here it comes. Battery technology much like that already utilized in trains and such is the obvious answer. Todays Hybrids utilize self contained generation systems that only have a very small downside.

Truth be told, had that been Getalife or Goldie who said what I said yesterday, you wouldn’t have brought race into this. But for the simple fact that you know I’m black, you completely throw away my opinion as racebaiting and deem me incapable of having any other opinion on my own. That’s racist on YOUR part.

I give you a little bit of my background and you disrespectfully dismiss it because it doesn’t fit into your narrow world view on black people. You probably automatically assume that I take my orders from Jesse Jackson or that I only listen to hip hop. Whatever fits your own narrow mind is what you choose to believe. President Bush was invited to address a major gathering of the American Indian Nation last weekend in Arizona.

He spoke for almost an hour on his future plans for increasing every Native American’s present standard of living.

He referred to his career as Governor of Texas, how he had signed “YES” 1,237 times - for every Indian issue that came to his desk for approval.

Although the President was vague on the details of his plan, he seemed most enthusiastic about his future ideas for helping his “red brothers”.

At the conclusion of his speech, the Tribes presented the President with a plaque inscribed with his new Indian name - Walking Eagle.

The proud President then departed in his motorcade, waving to the crowds.

A news reporter later inquired to the group of chiefs of how they come to select the new name given to the President.

They explained that Walking Eagle is the name given to a bird so full of manure it can no longer fly.

The article Academic Firefight By Peter Collier FrontPageMagazine.com | May 8, 2007 Includes the following statement “He went to Zoelle’s office and offered to produce a letter from his commanding officer authenticating his absence. “It’s not my fault that you have a reserve obligation,” Zoelle replied, adding that she would not excuse his absences. She also refused Walter’s request to turn in assignments due Mondays early before he departed for drill, or to let him hand them in when he returned. She said that he would be given a “0” for class participation and class assignments. “

I have worked with native Americans many summers and found them to be patriotic Americans.

The Navajos at Window Rock have a park with special tributes to those who were killed fighting for this country. @@,

It was LuckoDull who began to draw distinctions between those in Kansas and those in New Orleans. He was also drawing the conclusions that the people in NOLA were helpless and immoral. HE said it…NOT ME. I was extremely upset and I challenged him.

Now as far as you and your neighbors…that’s great. Really that is awesome!

But again, you fall into the same trap as RW. You assume that I have no white friends and that I believe that all white people are evil. You couldn’t be more wrong. I told you about my family. Let me see…my roomate is white, my best friend since high school is white and CONSERVATIVE…my girlfriend is white.

So you see, @@…you can’t put me into a box and make all of these false assumptions about me. To do so would be…well…bigoted and I KNOW you’re not a bigot, so let’s leave it at that.

steve-o @ 9:04:

This was Andy’s post that got yesterday’s “bigot” ball rolling from the leftists here. You included…

(((Something tells me the good people of Kansas are not quite as helpless as those in New Orleans were.)))

Most of Kansas is rural. The communities hit by the tornados WERE rural. I’ve known many a black farmer. “Farmers” are resourceful people. They’re forced to be.

Don’t put words in your mouth?

Why did you let Truthman put the words in your mouth? You used his/hers to speak for you here:

(((By steve-o May 8, 2007 11:58 AM)))

(Truthman May 8, 2007 11:27 AM LuckoDull, I read the first line of your first post today and you are just a stupid bigot…a stupid, stupid bigot!!!)

(((Come on out and say it, LuckoDork!!! Say it!! The people in NOLA were black and the farmers were white! Don’t tell me that the victims of Katrina were perverts! Who the fuuck are you? What gives you the right, you cowardly, worthless waste of oxygen? Who told you that you were worthy to castigate a whole group of people? Why don’t you say that directly to someone from NOLA if you’re not a coward.)))

Now right ^^^ there is where you made your mistake. You assumed that ALL resourceful people were white and that ALL “helpless” people are black.

Now the word “bigot” is used irresponsibly, and without justification IMO, and it is ALWAYS used against white people.

Intelligent people of all colors have come to realize that it no longer serves in the best interest of ANYONE, minorities included.

Parting shot? Here it is again. See if you can get it this time:

(((You can have your personal and political opinions steve-o. You just can’t make your assumptions based on what you THINK you know about people.)))

(((That makes you look….well….bigoted in your own special way.)))

That ^^^ would be like me, looking around at my black neighbors and saying they’re “helpless”.

They’re not….they’re conservatives. Does that surprise you?

They’re black, my husband and I are white. We and they, (my “conservative” friends) all went to NOLA in an RV to repair sheetrock for people we did not know. Would you be surprised that white people went, that black people went, or that we ALL went together?

Over & out.

Quit fantasizing about how the indians are Bush Buddies like you. Most Native Americans (outside of casino owners) think they are still being raped by the White Man… Dubya is not high on their list.

Yes the Native Americans have greatly contributed to this country in many ways. From WW2 to Environmental issues. And no they do not get the respect or even basic life considerations that they deserve.

Even today most Native Americans live below base poverty levels of even third world countries. And get denied essentials to life from health care to housing.

Before I go, one last post of grave importance. George Soros is a very dangerous man.

“Axis of Soros/ The men and motives behind the World Bank coup attempt.”

Mark Malloch Brown spoke Monday to a crowded auditorium at the World Bank’s headquarters, warning that the bank’s mission was “hugely at risk” as long as Paul Wolfowitz remained its president. Only hours earlier, news leaked that a special committee investigating Mr. Wolfowitz had accused him of violating conflict-of-interest rules. A coincidence? We doubt it.//Mr. Malloch Brown, remember, was until last year Kofi Annan’s deputy at the United Nations. In that position, he distinguished himself by spinning away the $100 billion Oil for Food scandal as little more than a blip in the U.N.’s good work, and one that had little to do with Mr. Annan himself. Last week, Mr. Malloch Brown was named vice president of the Quantum Fund, the hedge fund run by his billionaire friend George Soros. A former World Bank official himself and ally of soon-to-be British Prime Minister Gordon Brown, Mr. Malloch Brown would almost surely be a leading candidate to replace Mr. Wolfowitz should he step down. Not surprisingly, Gordon Brown cold-shouldered Mr. Wolfowitz at a recent meeting in Brussels.

{{{Mr. Malloch Brown never made any serious attempt to reform the U.N. beyond the cosmetic, while doing everything he could to block the real reforms proposed by Americans Christopher Burnham and former Ambassador John Bolton. He was, however, energetic when it came to lecturing Americans about what they owed the U.N., such as joining the “reformed” Human Rights Council (whose only achievement to date has been to castigate Israel), pursuing a “new multilateral national security,” and otherwise empowering the likes of Mr. Malloch Brown, his multilateral mates and their tax-free salaries.}}}

I bet you haven’t spent ten minutes on a reservation. I spent one summer working with the Lakota on the Cheyenne River Reservation. The lack of jobs and resources there in South Dakota was bad indeed.

I worked at a hospital, not a political rally. Yes, I have heard of Rosebud and the trouble there. But it was a reflection of the local economy, not a hatred for America as you have inferred.

I doubt that you have ever been to the summer resorts, forestry and fishery projects of the White Mountain Apaches. Or seen their airport with fire fighting planes and workers. Or seen the resources or Monument Valley on the Navajo Reservation, a reservation which is the size of West Virginia. Or visited the beautiful desert and Kitt Peak Astronomy Community on the Tohono oodam (Papago) Reservation. Or enjoyed the river with the Colorado River Tribes at Parker.

You are simply a liberal who does not want to hear that Native Americans love this country. Probably it is because you cannot appreciate our great country yourself.

(Ahem)— Dusty -

Thats nice that you have worked on reservations and I can respect you for that. And during that experience you can most certainly see the way we Native Americans are treated as second class citizens in most states.

I am Choctaw/Cherokee with a little Seminole family heritage for reference. But there is really only one tribe still recognized in Alabama. So I thankfully never had such issues. I was actually treated very well and considered “really cool” for my heritage during my high school days.

Yes —

Native Americans are very patriotic. They have done so many things for this country that most people would never even begin to grasp just how much. They (We) - “DO” care very much for this country and it’s people and it’s land - and will continue to do so.

But you still equate all patriotism as an endorsement of Bush. Quite the opposite! Bush has done great harm to the Native American Community and believe me when I say, this will be remembered.

For instance:

The Shoshone Treaty of Ruby Valley

Feel free to google more on this and you will see what we Native Americans think on this subject.

And I have always liked fellow Cherokee Mike’

Read Mike Graham’s other stuff if youget a chance.

Yes we care about this nation, but we are not happy with the path that this administration and GOP has taken it on.

Well, well, well, what have we here:

It’s been less than a week since a mammoth tornado tore apart the small, south-central Kansas hamlet that, until 9:45 last Friday night, was home to 1,500 people. The story that first went around the world was a testament to the self-reliance and resiliency of Kansans. (NRO’s coverage is here.) Greensburg, it was clear, was no New Orleans. When the clouds lifted, local residents started digging out. Their neighbors were there in minutes: Local towns and villages descended on the small town and got to work because, as any Kansan will tell you, that’s how you get ’er done. People get together and get to work.

Just like I said, huh.

{{{“All she had to do was ask,” the Defense Department’s Lt. Col. Ellen Krenke told me. “We can’t make that decision on our own and start imposing people and equipment on our own. The state has to ask.” In addition to thousands of available Guard personnel, Krenke said, there’s enough heavy equipment available to Sebelius to turn tiny Greensburg into a heavy-equipment parking lot — including more than 350 Humvees, hundreds of trucks, tractors, trailers, and other pieces of heavy machinery — along with thousands more sitting parked in neighboring states. “It’s all there,” Krenke said. “The equipment and people are available and a process is in place for getting it. But they haven’t chosen to use it.” The adjutant-general of the Kansas National Guard is working with Washington, Krenke said. “He should be advising her of all this.” The adjutant-general’s press officer didn’t respond to a request for a comment.}}}

BD: {{How many of you are aware of the text of Zawahiri’s recent jihadist video? Did you know that he devotes (pun intended) a good portion of it to appealing to black muslims in the U.S., and specifically quotes Malik Shabaaz?}}

You don’t have to worry about a Black American Muslim uprising in America. Why?

Because it’s speaker is Shabazz. Why is that important?

With the Assassination of Malcolm X by the Nation of Islam in the 70s; the majority, mainstream black american (muslim or not), do not trust anything Shabazz has to say. Once Malcolm X came to realize he was being lied to and manipulated by the Nation of Islam and he tried to pull away from them, they killed them. The Nation of Islam, (Black Muslims), has been nearly decimated ever since.

Most Black Americans who ARE practicing Muslims, practice the purest form of the religion. And

I have no knowledge of any Black American who wants to “blow himself up” by committing suicide for a cause. Not a one.

{{{In Greensburg itself, a “slow” relief effort certainly isn’t quite what people are seeing. “I’m very impressed,” Deborah Factor, one of the few homeowners in Greensburg to still have a home, told me by phone yesterday. “There are Guardsmen everywhere — picking up, cleaning up, shoveling stuff. And there’s food everywhere. I have not found one single person from Greensburg with a complaint. We’re grieving our losses, but most of us are grateful for friends and family and glad to be alive.”

Factor didn’t want to cast a political stone — “we’ve got other things on our minds,” she said. Instead, she simply described National Guardsmen out on the high school football field clearing it of tree branches and FEMA people working in the streets, asking townspeople how they can be of help. “I’m just amazed at how quickly everybody — local, state and national — have been with this.”

I talked to several other area residents who were unsure why Sebelius had used Greensburg as an excuse to attack the White House. Two state employees spoke to me on condition of anonymity. “Our governor is using this incident to take cheap shots at the war in Iraq,” said one.

The other was more puzzled. “I don’t know why she didn’t ask for help if she needed it,” he said. “That’s her job, isn’t it?”}}}

Why don’t you give us some more of that “we can’t set a timetable because the terrorists will quit killing our troops” logic? You see if we say we are leaving the terrorists will stop killing our troops and wait for us to leave. What a disaster that would be!

Or how about the old “fight them over there so we don’t have to here” logic. You see the terrorsits have no access to an atlas currently and frankly they are killing our troops at such a high rate there really isn’t a need to go to the trouble of travelling 8,000 miles to kill Americans when they have such great targets close to home. So we sign up volunteers to go act as human “bug lights” for the bad guys.

Luckodull’s 10:54 post should remind all us old codgers of the 1970’s Saturday Nite’s Parody of “Inflation Is Our Friend.” First, the party in control (the Democrats then) said that inflation wasn’t really happening, and when it became impossible to deny it, they claimed inflation was good. First Bush apologists claimed that global warming was hapening, and when it became impossible to ignore it, they now want to claim that global warming is helpful.

Wait a minute, wasn’t that inflation really brought on by oil prices skyrocketing and the failure of the party in control (the Democrats) to tax us for an unending war? That sure is different from today in which the party in power (the Republicans) have skyrocketing oil prices and are failing to tax us for an unending war in Iraq. The irony of it… the more things change, the more they remain the same. Throw all of the rascals out and start over!

Roll Call reports today that a House Republican delivered a foreign policy speech yesterday in which he quoted Nathan Bedford Forrest, founder of the KKK.

On Monday, Rep. Ted Poe took to the House floor to discuss foreign policy matters. To make a point, the Texas Republican invoked the words of Civil War Confederate Gen. Nathan Bedford Forrest: “Git thar fustest with the mostest.” The quotation got some floor watchers’ attention pretty quickly. Forrest is a controversial figure who was one of the Klan’s first grand wizards. Although the Civil War hero (if you were a Confederate, that is) ultimately abandoned the Klan for its violent tactics, he continues to kick up dust.

“Controversial figure” doesn’t quite cut it. Most lists of the worst Americans in U.S. history include Nathan Bedford Forrest near the top. That’s what happens when someone creates the KKK to terrorize freed slaves and their allies, after taking up arms against the United States. What on earth would possess a GOP lawmaker to quote Forrest on the House floor?

One of the most public slights of Mormons by evangelicals occurred during the 2004 National Day of Prayer, when Mormons were barred from conducting services during National Day of Prayer ceremonies by the group’s task force chairwoman, Shirley Dobson, the wife of Focus on the Family founder and chairman JAMES C DOBSON

The SBC’s North American Mission Board’s web page of “free resources on cults & sects” contains a section on “Mormons and Mormon Doctrine.” Mormonism is listed on the page alongside other supposed cults like the Nation of Islam and the Church of Scientology.

Pat Robertson’s Christian Broadcasting Network has also identified Mormonism as a cult. A 1992 CBN pamphlet entitled “Cults” reportedly declared:

“A cult is any group that has a form of godliness, but does not recognize Jesus Christ as the unique son of God.”…..”One test of a cult is that it often does not strictly teach that Jesus is the only begotten Son of God who Himself is God manifested in the flesh.”……”Christian-oriented cults include the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints or Reorganized Church of Latter Day Saints (Mormons), the Worldwide Church of God, Christian Science, Unity, Unitarianism, The Way International, Rosicrucian Society of America, Bahai, Hare Krishna, Scientology, the Unification Church, and the Jehovah’s Witnesses.”

Charles Colson criticized Mormonism as un-Christian. Colson concluded:

…Mormonism either affirms historic Christianity, or it doesn’t. Since it doesn’t, it can’t call itself Christianity — a fact that all the good will and public relations in Utah can’t change.

No, I did not see Native Americans treated as second class citizens. In fact, there were Indian doctors, nurses, medical technologists, and other well educated workers. None were treated like second class citizens. Nor did any of them ACT or think of themselves as second class citizens.

If I equate patriotism with President Bush it is just this: Our country is at war and he is our elected leader, our Commander-in-Chief. Leaders “lead” the country and Bush is leading.

It is difficult to support the country but not support the leader. It is even more difficult to support the troops (or make them believe it) when you do not cupport the Commander-in-Chief.

While I respect your opinion of the President, I believe that you are wrong in your assessment that it’s hard to support our country without supporting our president. It’s especially hard to make that assessment given that the President has an approval rating at or below 30%.

We are not a constitutional monarchy like some of our counterparts in Western Europe where the king or the queen is the figurehead and leader that unites us.

Instead, we are united by our common beliefs in the US Constitution and in the rights that it promulgates. It’s what makes us unique and it’s what makes us one of the oldest and longest running democracies in the world. So yes, it is very possible to be patriotic and criticize the commander-in-chief.

Not so much with the northeast tribes, but yes I am very familiar with the reservations and Reservation parks of which you apparently spent your time. Of that I say cheers and cudo’s for your work.

Don’t assume too much here…

As to Bush —

Dusty - you do realize that this war is about oil and regional control in the mid-east.

I am fine with this reasoning for the war, as I do realize our nation is stronger if we actually do control those resources.

But I’ll be damned if I’m going to delude myself (like you) as to our reasons for being there as some grand patriotic pretense about spreading freedom to the Muslims.

We are taking their resources by force! Period! We are killing people in the process! Period!

Meanwhile this President weakens our country by squandering financial, Diplomatic, and Military resources of the USA in not being tactical and withdrawing when he should. I would much prefer a Tactical retreat versus this suicide mission? Time for him to think like the Commander of this country soon, or we will pay a heavy price.

I’m gone for the day -

Cheers -

Thomas

IMPEACH BUSH NOW!!!

By Dusty

May 9, 2007 4:06 PM | Link to this

steve-o@3:31

We ELECTED George Bush president. He did not get there by his ancestry. Nor was he elected by polls.

The President has not usurped his legal powers. He has followed the legal rules with Congress, the CIA and the legal directives for war. He has not made himself into a dictator such as Saddam, Chavez and Castro.

Of course, criticism comes under free speech. But hate does not. And that is what is pouring forth from liberals.

There are “hate” laws for almost every category. Hate in those cases is illegal because it is harmful. But there are no “Hate” laws for the President. And hate is harmful. Not only to the President but to the country.

I hope you see the difference. The virus of hate brings the plague to free speech.

Bush and is cronies did a good job in alienating those who didn’t agree with him during his first term. When he tried those same tricks in his second term with his “cut n run” b.s., it backfired on him and he was faced with a Democrat-controlled Congress.

Bush was elected for 4 year terms by the people of this country. He won in war against terrorists in Afghanistan and everyone cheered.

Then in fighting further terrorism, the faint hearted backed down on Iraq and that is called “cut-n-run”. President Bush has never cut-n-run. Congress is now trying to “divorce” itself from its voting record of approving all actions.

You said it was your right and duty to criticize this country/whatever. I think it is also your duty to support this country. I cannot see that is what liberals are doing. Whatever their intentions are, liberals are causing a vast split in the morale of all citizens, including the troops.

Dusty,

I support this country so much that I knew before going into Iraq that it would be a collosal mistake. I knew that it would completely divert a lot of resources from our hunt of bin Laden and instead inbed us in a quagmire with no end in site. I hate seeing our brave troops misled, but that is what has blatantly happened in the past 6 years.

When most of this country was rah-rah, waving the flag, and crying for blood in Iraq, there were a few of us brave enough to stand up for what we believe in. There were even some of us who were ostracized, but it didn’t matter. We were brave enough to stand by our principles.

Al Qaeda wanted us to attack Iraq because it presented an opportunity for them to convince fellow Arabs and Muslims that the US was the boogeyman committed to wiping out their religion and culture. It also gave them another battlegroud to fight us since the invasion of Afghanistan. Don’t forget that Saddam clamped down on religious extremism because he was a secularist.

If you want to measure the morale of this nation, look at those who have been in charge. The fact is that the awful truth in the complete disaster that this war has become has revealed itself to most Americans.

If you want to support the President, fine. But tell us why you support his policies instead us feeding us that “cut ‘n run/stay the course” stuff.

Ole RW is back from his trip down to the 7/11 to get his 12 pack, cigarettes and lottery tickets I see. What’s on the agenda tonight RW? Ridin around in the old pickup guzzlin a few Buds with a few of the brothers from your clavern? Gonna shoot up a few stop signs maybe? Find a pasture to burn a cross in? While I got you here RW, does that rebel flag you got in the back window of the pickup cause your empties to not make it into bed of the truck?

steve-zero,

I’m not going to try to dazzle you with a few “some of my best friends are black” stories like you’ve been doing in reverse for two days.

You can’t debate the issue so you play the race card. You also claim that people aren’t treating you civilly, but you head straight for the cursing and name calling faster than anybody else here. (OK maybe not faster than Midori)

When DebbieDoRight was being attacked by true racists over at Wooten’s you might be surprised at which posters came to her defense and which ones defended the racist.

Your little toad DawgBiscuit couldn’t debate the illegal alien problem so he says I hate Mexicans.

It’s so easy to be a liberal. I’m quite comfortable that when I answer to my Creator I won’t have anything to answer for in the respect for my fellow man and respecting the rule of law departments.

Keep believing that I’m playing the “race card”. You clearly refuse to see the logic in any of my arguments so you call me a “racebaiter” just because I’m black. The fact that you can’t get past my skin color shows me that you’re a bigot.

Again, I haven’t called anyone else on here, liberal or conservative, a bigot except for you, RW.

Daniel,

There are often times that somebody with conservative views says something that I agree with, which is why I don’t understand the extreme “us versus them” mentality that a lot of wingnuts harbor on this blog.

stevie: daniella is a serial whiner, a life failure who obviously has never tasted success. To cover her disaster of a life she blames George W Bush for all of her deficiencies, whatever the Fvck she thinks he’s got to do with it.

When her bitterness and self loathing become to much to bare, she creates an alter ego, lying to the blog like somehow we care.

steve-o: I like blogging. It affords the opportunity for discourse. Dialogue is usually defined as: “An exchange of ideas and opinions”. Sadly, some use this medium as a mirror of their misfortune. “Us versus them” flows from their deperation. Two years ago they exhibited hubris. They basked in the Delay shadow of the “Permanent Republican Majority”. Remember?

They got clobbered last November. Their guy is in the toilet. Many of their heroes are in jail. Some are under indictment. Others are under suspicion. They still haven't told us what the male prostitute was doing in the 100+ visits to the White House. They are bankrupt of ideas, so they malign. Here's the key. They lack the ability for a critical thought. They have a bovine adoration for anything Bush. They are on the dole. None of this would trouble America; if they had skill. What is the skill of an overwrought right-winger who sits in front of a computer screen all day, every day?
