This cartoon^^ may not tell you all you need to know about pinko® liberalism but it sure tries like hell.

So let me try to get this straight, the presence of two “corrupt” cops, who I’m just so sure were not pressured at all to make any drug busts, is NOT a sign of rampant wrong doings with the whole department, nope, in fact the chief and mayor are heros for telling everyone how clean and wonderful they and their exalted government are?

Franklin backs police chief- Death-and-drugs scandal: Indicted cops are bad men who chose to violate department rules, mayor says!-Urinal

All this coming from the same people that wig out at one Republican for being gay, creating a deafening uproar about this one person being a sign of a larger “culture of corruption,” and insisting that all Republicans should be removed from office and burned at the stake because of the deeds of one man.

Isn’t amazing the lengths these liberals will go to dissemble and distract scrutiny away from their beloved democrat party?

And wouldn’t you just love to be those cops, sitting in jail, watching all of this hand washing, knowing full well that these craven political animals are fixing to air you out to dry?

Someone should send out a fake memo from the democrat national committee saying that, effective immediately, all unelected democrats should cease breathing so that there will be more oxygen for the officeholders, just to see how many of these pinko®s would comply with it.

You’re gonna hate 08®.

A grand coalition of anti-government forces is planning a second Iranian revolution via the ballot box to deny President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad another term in office and break the grip of what they call the “militia state” on public life and personal freedom. But opposition spokesmen say their broader objective is to bring down the fundamentalist regime by democratic means, transform Iran into a “normal country”, and obviate the need for any military or other US and western intervention.

{{{Iraqi officials have received reports that the leader of Al Qaeda in Iraq was killed by Sunni tribesmen, but the chief government spokesman said Tuesday the information has not been confirmed. {{{Sarkozy, by contrast, is the candidate of change. He has campaigned against the remaining vestiges of the 35-hour workweek, stating that those who wish to work more and earn more as a result should be allowed to do so. Indeed, his campaign celebrates the work ethic, with Sarkozy bluntly telling the French people that if they want to get ahead and if they want their country to prosper, they must work harder. Sarkozy decries the French brain drain to London, and realizes that it is the result of the relative lack of economic and social opportunities in France.}}}

In a society such as ours, there is plenty of blame to go around on this one. Mrs. Johnston’s untimely death was obviously the result of over-zealous police officers in a crime-ridden neighborhood. A neighborhood in which she feared for her life.

I’m sure Mrs. Johnston never anticipated that she would be shot by the police who are supposed to serve and protect. She armed herself to protect against burglars.

It’s very sad that she had to live her life in fear.

There can be no utopia where mankind lives and breathes. Only after death can it be found.

Rest peacefully Mrs. Johnston. I have no doubt that you have found yours.

I wonder what Goldie, Midori, Daniella, Truthiman, Brainless and others were doing this past weekend.

The old hippies were more emboldened than ever this year to display their juvenile sentiments with their message, which since the November 2000 election has been a variation on: We hate President Bush.//My question to them is why do you think I care what your opinion is?//My second question is what do you hope to accomplish?

{{{To ask someone to change her mind on the basis of slogans spewed out with hate is to ask for a subversion of that process by which we make responsible choices as citizens. People who would change their minds on the basis of your displays are dangerous.}}}

{{{So, was this demonstration to show the Bush administration your displeasure?//Quite obviously, they did not see your little parade. Nor are parades in themselves or even public opinion polls grounds for making foreign policy decisions.If this was a “symbolic act,” then it was only in your imaginations.}}}

MoveOn George Soros. The conservatives are coming to make THE WORLD a better place.

Australians are all conservatives now

(((And if the British and US cases do not prove the point, bear in mind that even many European countries such as Sweden, Denmark and Germany have adopted the conservative free-market policy agenda of reduced government spending, tax reform and privatisation with some success. Only France remains a reluctant starter and its high unemployment rate testifies to the resultant policy failure of its approach, but a president Nicolas Sarkozy may begin to reverse the tide.)))

When you go the route of “socialism” only to find that it is a path to failure, you adjust. You choose a better path.

It ain’t Utopia, but it’s better than socialist hell.

What Europeans consider conservative is a far cry from what it has devolved into here in the US.

The inside scoop on The Warming Sisters obnoxious encounter with Karl Rove:

Crow was more insistent, poking Rove in the chest and pinching his arm. She said Rove worked for her. Rove said he worked for the American people. Crow said she and David were the American people. And at that point, Rove turned and sat back down at his table, where he was a guest of the New York Times.// The point of recounting this stunt by two of Hollywood’s most prominent limousine liberals—who have accused Rove of rudeness—is to put him in the proper political context. He is the chief target of Democrats, liberals, and the left, and they burn with a desire to see him discredited, fired, and jailed. If all else fails, and it has so far, they’ll settle for tainting him as impolite.

{{{Even in Watergate, no single aide in the Nixon White House was pursued as relentlessly as Rove has been. Yet these investigations have uncovered one dry hole after another. And unless beating Democrats by ordinary political means becomes a crime, Rove will remain at large and at work. The best Democrats can hope for is to insult and assault him at a Washington dinner.}}}

steve-o,

How dare she try to enjoy a day without being met by a parade of Bush haters! This is Bush hating territory and stay out of our hood!

btw, here’s a story for you about how multi-culturalism is ruining the lives of muslim women as Western courts accede to concepts of Sharia Law.

Do you believe in the rights of women, or do you believe in multiculturalism? A series of verdicts in the German courts in the past month, have shown with hot, hard logic that you can’t back both. You have to choose.//The crux case centres on a woman called Nishal, a 26-year-old Moroccan immigrant to Germany with two kids and a psychotic husband. Since their wedding night, this husband beat the hell out of her. She crawled to the police covered in wounds, and they ordered the husband to stay away from her. He refused. He terrorised her with death threats.

{{{But Judge Christa Datz-Winter followed the logic of multiculturalism instead. She said she would not grant an early divorce because - despite the police documentation of extreme violence and continued threats - there was no “unreasonable hardship” here.

Why? Because the woman, as a Muslim, should have “expected” it, the judge explained. She read out passages from the Koran to show that Muslim husbands have the “right to use corporal punishment”. Look at Sura 4, verse 34, she said to Nishal, where the Koran says he can hammer you. That’s your culture. Goodbye, and enjoy your beatings.}})

The story then goes on to highlight numerous cases like this.

Meanwhile on college campuses here and in Canada, the WOMEN in the MSA are promoting the cultural segregation and exploitation of other muslim women, and I’m told by fools like RE that it’s no different than selling Matzo balls at the local grocery store.

Groovy.

You may be asking yourself if the Iraqis are willing and able to kill Al Qaeda why do we need to be there?

Don’t. Just don’t go there. It’ll just confuse things. You see you have to understand that armed militias killing the foreign invader is good IF that invader is Al Qaeda. The fact that Sunni militias are killing Al Qaeda only proves that the invasion was the right thing to do. Before the invasion the chances of an Iraqi meeting a member of Al Qaeda was nil. Now they have the opportunity to kill them.

You may also be asking yourself how you tell the differnce between the good Iraqi insurgents and the bad Iraqi insurgents. Its easy. If some Iraqi kills an Al Queda he is a freedom fighter brave enough to take on the foreign invader. On the other hand, if that SAME guy kills a US soldier he is a terrorist who is about ready to get on a plane to JFK airport to kill you.

I’ve never seen the transition from socialism to despotism. It’s interesting to see who his (Chavez’s) supporters are.

(((“The situation there has evolved to the point that Freedom House, a nongovernmental worldwide organization, ranks Venezuela second only to Cuba in terms of suppressing press freedom in the Americas,” she comments.)))

Sean Penn, Tim Robbins and Danny Glover. Hollywood elites know what’s best for Maria and her people??? Well isn’t that just always the way it is with the elitists.

(((The writer, who wishes to remain anonymous but goes by the pseudonym of Jorge Tortoza, (in honor of one of the journalists assassinated by Chavez at the march) says, “This film is of course much different from BOBBY. In this case, the voice of the president is comical and yet frightening as he typifies a stereotypical dictator as in George Orwell’s 1984. The script is being held under tight security. We want to make sure Chavez will not see it in its finished form until he goes to the movie theater like everyone else.”)))

“Although many candidates and most probably George Bush will be at the event, I am not yet a US citizen and I am not endorsing any political figure,” says Maria. “However, a voice against Bush should not be a voice for Chavez.

This movie was made in honor of the journalists who were assassinated by Chavez.

Then you suggest that I am a thug like your peace marching comrades.

You’re just one more clueless loser from the Left and should take any further idiotic questions to this Muslim woman:

She has described Islam as a “backward religion”, incompatible with democracy. //In a “no-holds-barred polemic” interview in the Evening Standard, Hirsi Ali characterises Islam as “the new fascism”. “Just like Nazism started with Hitler’s vision, the Islamic vision is a caliphate—a society ruled by Sharia law—in which women who have sex before marriage are stoned to death, homosexuals are beaten, and apostates like me are killed. Sharia law is as inimical to liberal democracy as Nazism.”

In this interview, she also made it clear that in her opinion it is not “a fringe group of radical Muslims who’ve hijacked Islam and that the majority of Muslims are moderate. Violence is inherent in Islam—it’s a destructive, nihilistic cult of death. It legitimates murder.”>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

{{{We have difficult work to do in Iraq. We are bringing order to parts of that country that remain dangerous. We are pursuing and finding leaders of the old regime, who will be held to account for their crimes. We are helping to rebuild Iraq, where the dictator built palaces for himself, instead of hospitals and schools. And we will stand with the new leaders of Iraq as they establish a government of, by, and for the Iraqi people. The transition from dictatorship to democracy will take time, but it is worth every effort. Our coalition will stay until our work is done. And then we will leave — and we will leave behind a free Iraq.}}}

Point of clarification,

Cristopher Hitchens has just written a book titled ” God is not so great”. It goes into how religion is based in ignorance and fear and is a poor choice as the basis for morality.

In the past he has generally been a right wing writer. With this new book, he now comes out as being against religion. Please do not lump him in as a liberal now. I do not think anyone who is a liberal wants to be identified with him.

“You know, if Bush would stop his self-indulgent stubbornness for half a day, he could see plain as day that he has an opportunity to retain American control of the World Bank by easing Wolfie out. If he tries to keep Wolfie in that spot, American control could end.

I really wonder whether his failure to distinguish between necessary toughness and catastrophically shoot-ourselves-(America)-in-our-foot pigheadedness results from biological anomaly. His inability to harvest experience, and so to think and form successful judgements, is just so inexplicable”.

RE strikes out again.

{{{In the past {Christopher Hitchens} has generally been a right wing writer.}}}

He is a old-fashioned liberal who abhors Islamic fascism. The new breed won’t lift a finger to contain it and does everything in it’s power to make excuses for it.

He was formerly a Trotskyist and a fixture in the left wing publications of Britain and America. But a series of disagreements beginning in the early 1990s led to his resignation from The Nation shortly after the September 11, 2001, attacks.

{{{While Hitchens’ idiosyncratic ideas and positions preclude easy classification, he is a vociferous critic of what he describes as “fascism with an Islamic face,” and his critics have been known to describe him as a “neoconservative”. Hitchens, however, refuses to embrace this designation. }}}

{{Hitchens no longer considers himself a Trotskyist or even a socialist; yet he maintains that his political views have not changed significantly.}}}

By Hey, moron

Hitchens is far from an “old-fashioned liberal.” He is an old-fashioned communist who is your ally.

Hitchens is so against religion of any kind that he has joined forces with the likes of you in order to use our military to eliminate Islam from the public square in the Midlle East. Sooner or later he would glad to use someone else’s military to remove Christianity from America.

Just tryin to get an update on Iraq,

From what I understand, to be a good american I should sit and wait for the results of the surge, which will be measured in september. And at that point we will know if the surge is working. Of course there is no discussion by the whitehouse as to what will happen if it is not working.

The Iraqi parliment is planning to go in recess over the summer, from june to august if I have heard correctly. Also Al Sadr’s bloc in parliment of about 40 seats will be vacated in protest. The Sunni Accord front is also threatening to pull out of parliment due to what is considers as Al Maliki targeting Sunnis in the bloc for terrorist related charges, but ignoring Shia bloc politicians. The sunni accord front holds 44 seats in parliment. The Iraqi parliment has a total of 275 seats, and 84 will soon be vacant, about 30% of the total.

So when Parliment becomes ineffective or completely collapses, will that be a sign that democracy is taking root in Iraq and the surge has worked?

What it comes down to is not Terrorists. It is a divided people who would rather fight each other than allow equality as a nation. How many troops would have to be deployed to fix that?

Oh, and when referring to the population of Iraq, it is now closer to 22.5 million, down from 25 million. roughly 10% of the population has become refugees in other nations, or has died as a result of the chaos after the invasion.

“Transition will take time” 2:30PM. Yes, the transition will take time. The TRANSITION has been in progress since the Reagan era, when the country began to lean toward the far right. The old guard (country club) Republican would turn over in his/her grave. Although they were always robber barons, some sense of true dedication to country and values was present (in some). Teddy Roosevelt and Eisenhower come to mind. I fear we’re headed for a dictatorship, and it will be spearheaded by the extreme FAR RIGHT. Sadly to say this includes the religious finatics. Note the percentages that make up Bush’s approval. Finaticism has caused much downfall since the beginning!!! I am praying for our country!!!

[The speech and events surrounding it were widely publicized and served as the symbolic end to the war in Iraq.

At the time, it appeared that every detail of the day’s events had been carefully planned, including the president’s arrival in the co-pilot’s seat of a Navy S-3B Viking after making two flybys of the carrier.

The exterior of the four-seat S-3B Viking was marked with “Navy 1” and “George W. Bush Commander in Chief.”

White House spokesman Scott McClellan told CNN that in preparing for the speech, Navy officials on the carrier told Bush aides they wanted a “Mission Accomplished” banner, and the White House agreed to create it.

“We took care of the production of it,” McClellan said. “We have people to do those things. But the Navy actually put it up.”](http://www.cnn.com/2003/ALLPOLITICS/10/28/mission.accomplished/)

Not surprising that The Administration shifted the blame entirely on the shoulders of the Navy Servicemen.

When I call Little 5 Points a Stalinist ghetto, I am employing “satire” since you indicated earlier that L5P doesn’t welcome anyone into the hood who doesn’t share the Bush sucks mindset, and anyone who chooses to enter the hood has no right to complain about their loudmouthed behavior.

Satire: noun. “Irony, sarcasm, or caustic wit used to attack or expose folly, vice, or stupidity.”

As for your idiotic question about how many Muslims I knew in New York, it makes absolutely NO difference. I do know people who died on 9/11 so unlike some Terrorism Deniers, I understand exactly what happened that day.

Indeed, if I am to use your implied condition that one has to know Muslims to discuss whether or not they represent a threat, then you can’t discuss the Iraq War unless you know any Iraqis.

Buy Danish,

Obviously your “Stalinist ghetto” labeling of L5P was satire, hence my satirical response. It’s not that different viewpoints are tolerated, but rather the fact that the author of the stupid editorial today seemed shocked and upset that she encountered people protesting against Bush in L5P. I’m just saying that if you jump in a pool, expect to get wet.

Also, the only “Terrorism Deniers” are the ones who decided to invade Iraq instead of finishing the job in Afghanistan. (BTW, are you equating “terrorism denial” with “Holocaust” denial”—I sure hope not because that would be pretty ridiculous).

I’m sorry that you lost friends in the attack, but everyone knew what happened that day and nobody will forget.

But it is very dangerous to answer hatred like that with hatred and prejudice. The Muslims that I know are not extremists, and are just like anyone else I know.

If Muslims must die because they are a threat, when can we start killing the Christians too?

Biblical quotes:

Exodus 31:14 Ye shall keep the sabbath therefore; for it is holy unto you: every one that defileth it shall surely be put to death: for whosoever doeth any work therein, that soul shall be cut off from among his people.

Leviticus 24:16 And he that blasphemeth the name of the LORD, he shall surely be put to death, and all the congregation shall certainly stone him: as well the stranger, as he that is born in the land, when he blasphemeth the name of the Lord, shall be put to death.

I am very afraid the evangelicals will kill me because I work on Sundays and while I drive there sometimes I say “GD!” really loud. It would seem to me that Christains are a threat to my way of life and I would like to kill them. Anybody with me?

I hope you idiots see the point. The Bible can be quoted to fear monger just as easily as the Koran. It doesn’t mean Christains are a threat. Nor does a literal interpretation of the Koran make Muslims a threat.

Your upcoming book begins with a quote from Cicero about how a nation “cannot survive treason from within.” Surely you’re not calling Democrats traitors. Or are you? U.S. Air Force Lieutenant Colonel Robert “Buzz” Patterson: I am.

O.K. so far I’m good with this^^.

{{{U.S. Constitution. Article III, Section 3 defines treason against the United States as “adhering to (our) enemies, giving them aid and comfort. Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, Dick Durbin, and John Murtha, amongst others, are guilty of exactly that. When a government official stands on the floor of Congress and declares the war lost; or travels to Syria, a state-sponsor of terror, and meets with the leadership that is funneling insurgents into Iraq to kill Americans; or, publicly compares our military men and women to Nazis, Soviets in gulags, and Pol Pot; or refers to our Marines as “cold blooded killers” before an ongoing investigation is completed and charges filed, they have crossed the line and have taken their politics to the battlefield. These are behaviors that give aid and comfort to our enemy.}}}

Yes, yes, go on.

{{{What is particularly disturbing to me is that these Americans are doing it while their fellow citizens are fighting and dying in combat. The best ally that al Qaeda has these days is the Democrat Party leadership. It’s reprehensible.}}}

Damn.

Oh my.

{{{ Lt. Col. Patterson: The Left’s “support” of our military consists of constant undermining or ignoring of the successes in Iraq and Afghanistan (and there have been many), legislation calling for outright defeat, grossly exaggerating or embellishing the misdeeds of a few miscreants at Abu Ghraib, championing baseless claims of torture at Guantanamo Bay, and staging antiwar rallies across the country. (((What extraordinary thing have they done that we grant them and their families a monthly salary, while thousands of honest men cannot even dream of a job as security guards? People should be rewarded for their actions, but it seems that we have turned this concept upon its head…)))

Stand at attention, you sniveling punkas-s cowards pinkos, the Colonel is speaking:

{{{Let’s remember that when Congress voted for military action in Iraq in 2002, both sides of the aisle overwhelmingly supported it. The vote was 77-23 in the Senate and 296-133 in the House for military intervention in Iraq. And four years earlier, under President Bill Clinton, 90 percent of the House and a unanimous Senate approved the Iraq Liberation Act of 1998, which established that the policy of the United States was regime change in Iraq. But nobody remembers that vote any more or the fact that the authorization for force was not based on “stockpiles of WMDs.” The Left has done tremendous damage to the war effort by obfuscating the realities on the ground in Iraq in a war that they voted for.}}}

The money shot, here’s why I say what I say about 08:

{{{The war is not lost, we are winning. I’ve seen it for myself. We have, however, allowed a Fifth Column comprised of Democrat politicians, big media, academia, popular culture, and nongovernmental organizations to control the discourse and negatively affect public opinion. Nobody beats the U.S. military, but American wars since World War II are won and lost in Washington, D.C. If we allow the Left to continue to undermine the nation and our military, we will not only lose in Iraq but future confrontations that may occur with Islamo-fascism in places like Iran, Syria, and the Philippines will be made doubly difficult and more bloody. The stakes are very high. We have to resist the urge to take the easy way out and quit what is a valiant and necessary struggle which would lead to Iraq becoming another Vietnam-type national humiliation. That, sadly, is exactly what the Left is banking on.}}}

And the American people either know it or are soon to find it out.

You can’t silence the truth.

Logic is not on thier side, History is not on thier side, and reality is not on thier side. How would the US win a civil war when it does not take either side?

The only tactic left is bluster, fear, and accusations of cowardice. The tragedy and disaster in Iraq was caused by the invasion, it will not be cured by it. It was a rash strategy by the policy maker, using a rational provided for him by the PNAC group, that gambled the lives of US service men and the reputation of this country on the bet that this small group of non-military intellectuals knew better than the CIA, Pentagon, and NSA about how Iraq would turn out after the invasion.

I don’t think that the problems in Europe will occur here in the US. Immigrants that come here usually assimilate into American society. The great thing about this country is that it is still possible to maintain your identity and religious beliefs while being an active and esteemed member of American society. Having lived in Western Europe myself, I can tell you that the attitudes of people over there are way more xenophobic and that also the immigrant population tend to be isolated.

As far as a “global war on terror”…you can call it what you want. Although it is more fragmented now more than ever, Al Qaeda still remains a dangerous group. I don’t think that anyone denies that. The real question is why are we in Iraq when we never finished the job in neutralizing bin Laden.

It is a multifacted civil war, caused by the power vacuum left after we overthrew Saddam Hussien and disbanded the army. See, disbanding the army put the entire country into a state of chaos without any means to protect itself.

Now we have pro Iranian Shia fighting anti iranian shia, shia fighting sunni, shia and sunni nationalists fighting any US force, and al queda thriving in the chaos being able to strike US targets.

If every member of Al Queda was killed tomorrow, Iraq would still be in a civil war.

The Marines said the patrols also give them a chance to see the locals and strengthens their relationship with the civilians in the city. (((“Our constant presence gives the locals a sense of security,” said Kistler, a native of Savannah, Ga.)))

(((“I think they see us as a friendly force,” said Greene, a native of Newark, Ohio. “We hand out candy, shake hands and give high-five’s, and people are always coming out to wave at us. The proof is how much help they give us; a lot of our Intel comes from locals who just want to help.”)))

And the conservatives want to help you help the Iraqis Soldier Greene.

The liberals? They would rather leave them to be slaughtered.

It’s difficult to comprehend WHY isn’t it Soldier Greene?

George Will: They (GOP) do not want to have, as they had in 2006, another election on Iraq. It took 30, 40 years for the Republican Party to get out from under Herbert Hoover. People would say, “Are you going to vote for Nixon in ‘60?” “No, I don’t like Hoover.” The Depression haunted the Republican Party. This could be a foreign policy equivalent of the Depression, forfeiting the Republican advantage they’ve had since the ‘68 convention of the Democratic Party and the nomination of [George] McGovern. The advantage Republicans have had on national security matters may be forfeited.”

Look….I think many hollywood types like to convince people that they’re “elites”. I don’t buy it. I’ve heard some of the stupid stuff that comes out of their mouths.

Many of those people are dumb…dumb…dumb.

On the other hand. People like Bono and Angelina Jolie conduct themselves with dignity. They accomplish things. They make a difference in the world. They do it quietly.

They don’t just run their mouths to hear themselves speak while a bunch of useful tools look on in awe. They feed off of people like you.

Do you read those Hollywood rags or something? Are you a groupie?

BTW, I’m a big fan of Socrates. Remember what he said about wisdom? According to his philosophy, the Hollywooders don’t have it.

Half the Democratic candidates do not think there is a global war on terror, yet Democrats took umbrage at Rudy’s remarks that the country would win it, but under a Democrat it would take longer and cost more lives?

He talked about the importance of winning the war in Iraq, but argues that the nation must view the campaign against terrorism far more broadly - he said it seems to him Democrats would go on defense (from war emphasis to law enforcement emphasis?) and supported with:

cut back on Patriot Act

cut back on electronic surveillance (monitoring overseas transmissions?)

cut back on interrogations

This would lead to a pre- 9/11 mindset.

Edwards (who doesn’t believe there is a global war on terror) said Giuliani’s “suggestion that there is some superior ‘Republican’ way to fight terrorism is both divisive and plain wrong.”

Obama (thinks we’re at war) accused Giuliani of taking “the politics of fear to a new low” and predicted that Americans will reject such rhetoric. “We know we can win this war based on shared purpose, not the same divisive politics that question your patriotism if you dare to question failed policies that have made us less secure.”

Hillary (thinks we’re at war) said “We have to protect our country from terrorism — it shouldn’t be a Democratic fight or a Republican fight.”

So all attacked Rudy, said “bad boy” but not one said what they would do. I think it’s clear Rudy would keep the main parts of the Patriot Act, monitor overseas transmissions, keep interrogations and trying terrorists before military tribunals, in accordance with law.

I still don’t know what Democrats want to do. Anyone care to take a stab at it? I’m not asking for what they won’t do or more diatribes against the Administration. Rudy’s staked out his position? Democrats? I’ve even reread the “Real Security” Democratic plan - yet haven’t heard a candidate endorse it.

Anyone care to take a shot?

BTW - much thanks to the sources from whom I freely plagiarized -

Moron,

I disagree with George Will. MoveOn.org is pulling your party so far to the left that George McGovern looks like a mild-mannered conservative in comparison.

Rush thinks that the Democrats will not ultimately pull troops from Iraq. I disagree with that too. Their bread is buttered by George Soros and they know it.

Hey — of course Al Qaeda is behind every attack in Iraq. If someone attacks someone else in Iraq, they’re against the U.S. (because we want to be hugged with flowers, that is all). If they’re against the U.S., they’re Al Qaeda. Ipso facto, every attack in Iraq is by an Al Qaeda member. Duh!

Paul,

The Democrats have no plan except to order drapes for their offices.

Rudy may have been giving them too much credit to say they would even go on defense.

I think it’s fairer to say that the Democrats will hide under their beds after they decimate the Patriot Act and every other tool at our disposal to prevent attacks on our soil.

George McGovern, to use the language of the times, was one cool dude. One may disagree with him, but he spoke his mind, didn’t sugarcoat, didn’t mince words or shade his thoughts. He was up front and forthright about what he thought. In short, he was honest.

Not a bad role model for this election.

What I’m “ranting about” is your little pet peeve about “elites”, @@. Glad you backtracked, however. With that backtrack speed you could probably play cornerback in at least the CFL.

Please tell me when Danny Glover or [insert your pet peeve celebrity here] claimed to be an “elite”? They are famous. Because of that people listen to them. These people are allowed to have opinions, just like you and me. You’re merely jealous that people bother to listen to them, while entirely disregarding you. It’s ok. These people are not dumb, they merely disagree with you. I don’t see you harping too much on Britney “oops I lost my thong again” Spears and her “we should thupport the Pwesident because he’s the Pwesident” idiocy. So pipe down. Okay, you win the “I’ll Give It a Shot About How a Democratic President Would Conduct the War on Terror” Award. I’ll have to confess, though, after much serious thought, reflection, rereading of your posts, inference, intuition and a few wild guesses, I’ve come to the conclusion you are not a Democrat. Or very liberal, either. But seeing as how none of the Democrats (or liberals) could put forth any specifics about how a Democrat would conduct the war on terror (not their fault – there probably aren’t any sources to cite) I’ll have to go with your “guess.”

Until a candidate gets specific.

Still ranting?

Hollywooders are FAMOUS? and that’s a reason people should listen to them? It doesn’t matter that they have nothing intelligent to say? I must say…I’m laughing at that one. Some of them are “talented”, but I wouldn’t call them FAMOUS.

I reserve that “word” for people who have contributed something that serves mankind in a positive way. Albert Scweitzer comes to mind. I’d call him famous.

Brittney Spears? I know nothing about her except that she shaved her head, got caught with her pants off, and went into drug rehab. I learned all of that here, and I learned it from you liberals.

I believe I said they could speak their mind rushncap…after they put their pants on “one leg at a time”.

I never said anyone “should listen to” Hollywood actors. No one is holding a gun to anyone’s head to listen to Danny Glover, last time I checked. Some people do so voluntarily, just like som people voluntarily listen to Bush, for some reason. And it does not matter whether or not YOU call them famous, it matters that they actually are. Your massacre of the English language notwithstanding, fame has nothing to do with contributions. I don’t care if you wrote your own dictionary, @@, but when you communicate on an English-language blog, you should stick to English, rather than @@bonics. Just some advise for you, free.

I have no idea what you’re laughing at, but since you’re yet to demonstrate a sense of humor (or much sense, period), I’ll leave that one alone. You can go ahead and cackle away. Though I’d suggest you devote the time to learning the English language. Doesn’t it suck when foreigners know it much better than you?
