My guess is that Cameron’s new “documentary” will sink like the Titanic.
But he’ll win an “award” for it, hahaha.
Maybe the Jesus haters will give him a statue of himself, something he can love on.
Or maybe he could win a pulitzer, they give those to anybody.

The anti American campaign continues at the Pinko Times:
Eight {{{{{people}}}}}} were killed in Taji, on the northern outskirts of Baghdad, when U.S. gunships fired into a palm grove where they were hiding, the U.S. military said, adding that intelligence reports had indicated the area was being used for small arms and rocket attacks on U.S. troops.
The Atlanta Urinal has made an important step in it’s war against the United States, our enemies are no longer cold blooded suicide bombing savages, no, they’re innocent little “people” of the forest, hiding in the trees.
FY, AJC.
Remember this?:
By SO VERY STUPID February 27, 2007 12:08 PM CNN: 18 children killed in bombing at soccer field.
Well guess what, it was a fake story:
The report sounded horrific. A suicide truck bomb set off in Ramadi, a Sunni Muslim stronghold, targeted children on a soccer field, killing at least 15. The story was repeated by wire services, newspapers and television newscasts. The only problem: It didn’t happen. “There were no children killed,” said Rear Adm. Mark Fox, spokesman for the multinational forces in Iraq. “The allegation was false.”
How many other staged stories have the lib media and Al Qaeda made up along the way?
And the Urinal rushed into print?

Did Mary Magdalene make brownies?
Doesn’t make a bit of difference to me if Jesus was married or not. It does not change the meaning and purpose of his life.
I admire the quest of the scientific mind to find the physical truth. That does not change the meaning and purpose of the life of Christ either.
I suspect Jesus would have been a great dad. Imagine taking him to school to speak for career day!

Mrs. G,
I have found that Christians tend to break down into two main groups, one group sees the message of Jesus as the most important aspect of thier faith. The other group sees the divinity and scripture as the most important aspect of thier faith.
Message people figure that the bible, if they have read it, is contridictory and has been translated and passed down for so long, it is not accurate. So if the world took millions of years to form instead of thousands, no big deal. Noah’s Ark, Jonah and the whale; probably fables meant to teach a lesson. Maybe jesus had a sister or brother, Mary may not have been a virgin, Jesus may have had a kid. None of this matters as much as the message of Jesus.
In the other group, the scripture is the literal word of god and is infalliable. Evolution is a myth. The world is 10,000 years old. Mary was a virgin all her life. Jesus never was married. Jesus came back to life and was walking around 3 days after he died on the cross.
I talked to a pastor who is a divinity/ scripture person just after the divinci code came out. In her opinion, if there was any deviation from the bible, like if Jesus was married or if he did not have his body taken up to heaven, it would disprove his divinity and make all his teachings meaningless. I cannot understand that thinking.

What is it with these mental defective liberals?:
By John Filthy Mouth Murtha- Gen. Peter Pace, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, testified on Tuesday to the Senate Appropriations Committee that my plan to restore military readiness in order to meet current and future threats and to require the Pentagon to uphold its own guidelines, standards and policies would somehow be damaging on the battlefield.
Duh:
At the beginning of the Iraq war, 80 percent of all Army units and almost 100 percent of active combat units were rated at the highest levels of readiness. Just the opposite is true today. Virtually all of our active-duty combat units at home and all of our guard units are at the lowest level of readiness.
So, according to Filthy Mouth, only 20% of our troops are “ready” to fight (against a criminal band of suicide bombing neanderthals, by the way) and we should send them and only them to fight for our country.
And this idiot doesn’t understand how this hurts the troops.
Maybe this Filthy POS shouldn’t have let the pervert Clinton cut military spending to the bone.
He was the chairman of the House Appropriations Committee, after all.
Isn’t that sweet, lord over all the defense cuts while your guy is in charge and then harp on his predecessor about troop readiness.
What a wanker. What a typical prototype liberal. A super stroker model pinko.

RE,
Typical Lib. You present pseudo-scholarship based on anecdotal “research” with conclusions drawn which satisfy your word view.
What you have presented is not deep intellectual thought, but crude stereotyping.
The FACT is that there are plenty of Christians who believe in the divinity of Christ but don’t believe that the Earth is 6,000 years old. One can easily dispute Darwin’s theories by arguing the science and not be a fundamentalist. It’s also incredibly presumptious for you to claim things like “Mary’s virginity doesn’t matter”. Perhaps it doesn’t matter to YOU, but who are you to say it doesn’t matter for other Christians?
It’s so much easier to divide Christians up into ignorant Bible thumping fundamentalists and pseudo-sophisticated deep thinkers who claim the moral high ground by drawing simplistic conclusions like “war is bad, peace is good”.
It’s quite juvenile, really.

Nice job. I’ve noticed a third group - rather a synthesis of the two you discussed. They generally hold to the divinity of Jesus, accept the Son of God/God doctrine, usually go along with the resurrection and second coming and reject the marriage/children idea. They also can interpret much of the Bible (especially the Old Testament) as allegorical (creation of earth and mankind, the flood, etc) and don’t get much concerned about all the contradictions from either the mistranslations or biases of the author (or translator).
I’ve found there are a good deal of “live and let live, don’t get too excited” Christians. Where it gets dicey is when other Christians, or those who aren’t but who like to lecture on what “real Christians” are, try to impose their litmus tests. Some have it as a basic element they’re “it” (Catholicism, LDS) but they don’t go around condemning others. That’s a good example, I think, for folks in that category.

Mr. Williams
I take it your objection to McCain-Feingold ((Bipartisan Campaign Reform Act of 2002) is a “free speech” issue. There’s a good history of BCRA at
Link:campaign finance free speech
Which deals with sizes and sources of contributions, corporate and union donations, as well as “soft” money. It asserts BCRA was designed to accommodate previous Court objections.
Personally, I wouldn’t mind full federal funding of national elections. If a candidate gets a certain (reasonable) level of support, he’d get funds. Same for all candidates. Couple it with term limits. There’s a “will of the people” argument - I don’t care for someone’s Congressman or Senator who exerts a disproportionate level in influence over my life simply because he or she has been in Congress longer than most.
What, 95, 99 percent get reelected? One reason for no five-day work week is it takes time to raise all that money. I think Mark Twain had it wrong - we don’t have the best damn Congress money can buy.

Or how about some decency and compassion for people needing comfort from disease.
http://www.drugpolicy.org/marijuana/medical/
I mean if a person is dying, my belief is let that person have anything they want to relieve their pain and suffering!
If you conservatives were truly compassionate you would pass legislation to help the sick, dying, injured, needy, helpless, elderly, etc. Instead the conservatives exploit them!

Bush administration announced talks with Iran/Syria under cover of an Iraqui initiative. Regardless, it’s a change in not talking with these nations. Biden and others gave (grudging) acknowledgement. Didn’t see any mention of it here.
Rather same with N Korea. There was some discussion of the progress, near zero for the fact that multiparty talks (which many here, if not opposed to, dismissed as it didn’t follow the model of the previous Presidency).
So, there’s progress with N Korea following a model many opposed, possible progress with talks for stability, which the Administration opposed but changed course. Think we’ll see much credit given here?

Finally, the “brothers of Jesus” are neither the sons of Mary, nor the brothers of Our Lord in the proper sense of the word, but they are His cousins or the more or less near relatives. [70] The Church insists that in His birth the Son of God did not lessen but consecrate the virginal integrity of His mother (Secret in Mass of Purification). The Fathers express themselves in similar language concerning this privilege of Mary.
N-GA, this is part of the dogma that get’s attached to belief. I know several catholics who believe that Mary was a virgin her entire life. And of course, and suggestion contrary to that is blasphemous.

WWJD - conservatives are true Christians because they believe in doing for others and not waiting for Uncle Sam to do it. I want to give my money to someone that I know will do some good with it and not some government welfare program rife with fraud and corruption which is ultimately set up as a job program for the lazy and overeducated. Which is why I’m so in favor of the talks - providing (big “if”) the mainstream American media does any meaningful reporting. Americans should realize (moreso than the Shia/Sunni or Hamas/Fatah animosity) the competing interests that exist. I’m not sure how much of the Arab/Persian world wants to highlight that. The “Great Satan” is a great diversionary tool to divert attention from despotic rulers, seemingly loony rulers and the horrible way in which oil (and other) revenue has been squandered.

The only reason that I mention that, you uneducated and pompous twit is that I don’t like it when people disagree with others to start hurling insults rather than countering that argument with facts. You would make a terrible lawyer. By the way, I received my JD at Samford U. and my Ph.D. at Universite de Dijon (Medieval History). Please get over yourself and jsut stick to arguing facts rather than spouting hateful diatribes. I realize that you liberals love to do that when you know that your arguments don’t hold water. It reminds me of the old addage used by trial lawyers - When the law is on your side, pound the law. When the facts are on your side, pound the facts. When neither is on your side, pound the table. Shortly before midnight (CST) on Monday, February 26, a group of republican Second Life users, some sporting “Bush ‘08″ tags, vandalized the John Edwards Second Life HQ. They plastered the area with Marxist/Lenninist posters and slogans, a feces spewing obsenity, and a photoshopped picture of John in blackface, all the while harrassing visitors with right-wing nonsense and obsenity-laden abuse of Democrats in general and John in particular.

Edwin Williams, I recently quite by accident that my boss is a graduate from West Point, and holds a Msters from American University in Washington, D.C. He also retired from the military with the rank of Lt. General. In his office is nothing to suggest any of that. All I knew is that I had one hell of a boss. My point Edwin is that the real deals in this world seldom self promote. You on the other hand seem to think that you can use your education to stifle debate with others on this blog. You can’t. Furthermore, for all we know, you are nothing more than one of those professional students that lives off student loans to avoid the challenges of the real world. It was a week or so ago. China and Japan were major players in the multiparty talks - in some ways more hardline than the US. Rather a lot of coverage. Diane Rehm (NPR) had excellent panel - included negotiator from Clinton Admin, as well as from Bush Admin. In answer to question as to how different from past “agreements” consensus was there are shorter timelines and more mechanisms for verification to see if N Korea, this time, is really serious.
I take a different world view. I generally don’t hold to the idea that madmen, evildoers, who rule other countries are because George W. Bush “single handedly made them.” I don’t think Pres Bush has nearly that much power. In this particular case, if anyone can be said to “make” something of someone, the credit should go to Kim Il Sung.
Excuse if I don’t respond - I’m leaving shortly on a trip to Houston - then a rather long drive northward to hear Tony Snow speak. As I said, I like going to source material. Have a nice weekend, all.

If I did that Debbie I apologize. But what I have tried to point out here today is the fact that some of the champions of the conservative right live their personal lives in anything but a christian manner. I think everyone knows what true christian values should be. There are characters throughout history, Mother Teresa being one who were the polar opposites of the Newts of the world and the Bill Bennetts of the world. Can Dick Cheney with his worldview lay claim to being a christian man? Maybe maybe not. All I am saying is christian is as christian does. Live your christianity. Being a christian involves deeds…a lifestyle. Christianity is not a political ideology or agenda. And that is where the most glaring contradictions between the right right wing of the republicna party and those that claim to be christians arise. If Jesus were here today I will bet that he would be fighting tooth and nail against the anti-immigrant (legal or illegal) crowd. Christian is as christian does.

“The 4,000-square-foot house is a model of environmental rectitude, wrote freelance reporter Rob Sullivan. “Geothermal heat pumps located in a central closet circulate water through pipes buried 300 feet deep in the ground where the temperature is a constant 67 degrees; the water heats the house in the winter and cools it in the summer. Systems such as the one in this ‘eco-friendly’ dwelling use about 25 percent of the electricity that traditional heating and cooling systems utilize. “A 25,000-gallon underground cistern collects rainwater gathered from roof runs; wastewater from sinks, toilets and showers goes into underground purifying tanks and is also funneled into the cistern. The water from the cistern is used to irrigate the landscaping surrounding the four-bedroom home. Plants and flowers native to the high prairie area blend the structure into the surrounding ecosystem.”

Not all Christians believe that speculation regarding the discovery of Jesus’ tomb is heresy:
So, does the faith collapse under the weight of a supposed tomb of Jesus? “No,” says Crossan. “Because the resurrection is a metaphor”—a metaphor which is the ultimate source of the staying power of Chrisitianity and the Bible. “It’s the same pattern of transcendence that you get from the first pages of the Bible, all the way to the end. Historical questions do not shake the faith of us metaphorists,” says Crossan. “If you wish to take the Bible literally, do,” he says. “But do not tell other people who take it metaphorically that they are not true Christians.”

You know folks, I know what christianity used to mean. But with the extent today that politics has invaded organized religion I am not so sure what today’s definition of christian is. Thanks to the intolerance of the “christian” right and the very contradictory term “compassionate conservative” the first impulse one has when the right wing supports anything is to run for cover.

The very sanctimonious Mrs. Godzilla, and Goldie, Getalife and others frequently make such claims. It boils down to “War bad. Peace good Conservatives bad. Liberals good.” Quite childish really.
As for your silly claim about Clinton and the ‘93 WTC bombing versus what Bush has done, Khalid Sheik Mohammed is sitting in Gitmo this very minute. (Choose a story, any story).
He’s the guy who planned the entire operation and was purportedly waterboarded during his successful interrogation, something which caused liberals no end of despair and SQUAWKING.

Goldilocks: The 3 networks are mouthpieces of the NY Times, which is why they sugarcoated the disaster with bullsh-it in their article. Another prime example of this:
Ms. Couric’s CBS newscast, which remains a distant third, has lost about 120,000 viewers from the program that was led last year at this time by Bob Schieffer. Asked yesterday whether any changes were in the offing for the CBS newscast, Sean McManus, the president of CBS News and Sports, said: “As we’ve said all along, this is a very long process that takes many months, if not years. We’re not losing any patience.”
C BS is itching to pull the trigger on the fat bitc-h but they know that will make all of them look like bigger as-ses than they already do.

READ IT AND WEEP LIARS…..
The Tennessee Tax Dept. does not consider the "Tennessee Center for Policy Research," which roughly no one had heard of before this, a legitimate group. It's run by a long-time right-wing attack hack, and its only registered address is a P.O. box. Why is everyone in the media taking what it says about Gore's electricity use at face value? Gore's electricity company has no record of being contacted about his bills. The "average" home electricity use quoted by TCPR is a national average that includes apartments and mobile homes. In Gore's climatic zone, the East South Central (Dept. of Energy PDF), the average is much higher, thanks to hot, humid summers and cold winters. Within that zone, Gore's usage is three (not 20) times average, and his per-square-foot usage is squarely average. (More here.) The Gores are not an average family. He's an ex-VP with special security arrangements, and has live-in security staff. He and his wife both work on their many business and charitable undertakings out of their house, so they have space for offices and office staff. All that would be tough to cram in an average size house. Gore buys the maximum allowable green electricity from the program offered by his utility. Most of the electricity in TN comes from hydro and nuclear, and so doesn't generate all that much CO2 anyway. The larger point, which probably won’t work well as a cable-show soundbite but is nonetheless true, is that Gore has done heroic work making global warming a top issue for governments the world over. He has prompted more individual and collective action on this issue than anyone else alive. The changes he has wrought outweigh his personal carbon emissions by many orders of magnitude.
They know Gore’s message is winning. They know they are losing. Even if they’re successful in tarnishing Gore, it won’t change that.
THAT SWIFTBOAT HAS ALREADY SUNK.

WASHINGTON - The National Guard and Reserves don’t get enough money or equipment and are left out of important planning for national emergencies, an independent panel concluded Thursday, long after the Iraq war and Hurricane Katrina exposed serious stresses on the services.
The report from the Commission on the National Guard and Reserves compounds earlier criticism of the Bush administration’s response to the devastating hurricane that struck the Gulf Coast in August 2005. The administration also is still struggling to better manage the reserves nearly four years into the Iraq war.
Guard and Reserve troops have been under increasing strain since the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks, serving in Afghanistan and Iraq while also patrolling the border with Mexico and responding to hurricanes and other natural disasters. During parts of 2005, the citizen soldiers made up nearly half of the U.S. forces in Iraq, with some facing repeated deployments.
At the same time, Guard units have struggled to get the equipment and training needed to go to war, often swapping armored trucks, radios and other equipment between the states to meet battle and disaster requirements.
Republicans just ‘love our troops to death’, don’t they? You can bet your sweet a$$ they ain’t about to give up any of those blood-soaked warbucks they been raking in to buy our soldiers the basic equipment they need to survive.
Republicans are leaving our troops under-supplied and over-worked so that they can sidestep the TRUE COST of their Iraqi misadventure and LIE to the american voter.

Dull: On March 4, 1994 a jury found Salameh, Ajaj, Abuhalima and Ayyad guilty of the World Trade Center bombing. They were all sentenced to 240 years in prison. However, the masterminds were not caught until later. Eyad Ismoil and Ramzi Yousef were convicted of murder and conspiracy in the World Trade Center bombing. Prosecuters believe Eyad helped Ramzi load the bomb into the truck and then drive it to the World Trade Center basement and park the vehicle. Eyad was sentenced to 240 years in prison and ordered to pay a 10 million dollar fine. Yousef received life in prison plus 240 years and a 4.5 million dollar fine. He was also ordered to pay 250 million dollars in restitution. The fines were given to insure that these men would never profit from their actions. Further, the judge recommended that Yousef spend his sentence in solitary confinement. Federal prosecutors are still looking for Adul Rahmin Yasin in connection with the bombing.

WASHINGTON - President Bush would veto legislation championed by Democrats and labor groups that would make it easier to organize unions by eliminating employer rights to demand secret-ballot elections, the White House said Wednesday.
The House is to vote on the legislation Thursday and, with help from pro-labor Republicans from the Northeast, it is almost certain to pass. But the margin of support is expected to fall well short of the two-thirds needed to overturn a presidential veto.
The current system is broken because employers can coerce and intimidate workers into rejecting unionization, AFL-CIO President John Sweeney said in a phone interview this week. The House bill, he said, is “the most important improvement in labor law in many decades.”
Why, of course King George is gonna veto it. It is the sovereign duty of royalty to keep commoners in their place, right?

The word sanctimonious is both untrue and insulting. You have no possible way of knowing whether or not I live truly according to the example of the Prince of peace. To say so or imply so is a lie.
There is no answer to Question 2, as there was no truth.

DDA,
I don’t know that it is “blasphemy” but it is presumptious.
I repeat what I said earlier - if you look up^^^^^you will find many comments from people claiming that conservatives cannot be Christians because they are warmongers blah blah blah.
I guarantee you that the Left does it far more than the right. Just today you will find one example of a conservative doing it versus many more from the Left.
I cannot tell you how many times I have been “preached” to with Socialist homilies right here on this blog.
I would also add that there are many Conservatives who are Christians who are not members of “Christian Right”.
Indeed, I began the day calling RE out for dividing Christians up into two groups: the enlightened ones like himself (/sarc) and ignorant hicks who take the Old Testament literally.
The fact is that I don’t know a single person who believes that the Earth was created 6,000 years ago. Not a one. That doesn’t mean that they don’t exist, but according to the Left, if you’re not a Liberal Christian that’s what you believe.

Sybil Bon Scott,
They have WiFi at the asylum, I see. How nice of Parrot to visit you!
Mrs. Godzilla,
I never questioned your spirituality, or questioned how you lead your life.
I merely stated that you use the “you can’t be in favor of the Iraq War and still be a good Christian” line of “reasoning”, and do so frequently.
By making that childish argument you are asserting that as a liberal you are a better Christian than people like myself. You disqualify anyone who in your view is a “neo-con warmonger”.*
That is sanctimonious because you are accusing others of false peity and asserting your own as the “final word”.
If it makes you feel any better, you are not alone in doing this. There are a whole bunch of you right here at this blog prattling away about what Jesus would do.

So rushncrap: You got a paper woman lined up for this evening?
Gore helped found Generation Investment Management, through which he and others pay for offsets. The firm invests the money in solar, wind and other projects that reduce energy consumption around the globe … Gore is chairman of the firm and, presumably, draws an income or will make money as its investments prosper. In other words, he “buys” his “carbon offsets” from himself, through a transaction designed to boost his own investments and return a profit to himself. To be blunt, Gore doesn’t buy “carbon offsets” through Generation Investment Management—he buys stocks

See why that “whacking moles” and law enforcement theory doesn’t work? Thanks to the current administration KSM has a cozy cage at Gitmo where he awaits a military tribunal and an execution if we can get you libs to quit standing in the way.
In the meantime we have Osama holed up in a cave, while we kill his followers off by the score in Iraq. I guess we could send Buford T. Justice out there after them if you prefer though.

RW, maybe I used to be finch, maybe not. Considering all the name changes Andy has daily, what difference does it make? Seriously! How petty of you.
As I see it, finch hasn’t posted here for 6 months. For all I know, he’s been attacked by alligators outside Savannah. But thankfully, bon scott has been a suitable pinch hitter.
Now, why don’t you and your neocons explain to us “doofuses” again why invading Iraq (never a threat) while virtually ignoring the threat posed by the maniacs who occupy the Afghan/Pakistan border has made America more secure?
Let’s see…. we’ve created a new terror magnet (Iraq) where none had existed. And through Bush administration negligence, his myopic, childish focus on Iraq, and his appeasement of Pakistan’s Musharraff, Bush may have allowed the REAL Al Qaeda (not the wannabes in Iraq, Somalia, etc) to resume building a terror network that could kill millions. Could be more dangerous than the original.
Your defense of the Bush/Cheney/Rumsfeld/Wolfowitz doctrine makes me want to cry. It HAS insured that Bush will go down as the worst President in history.

Danish: When I first came to this blog I always figured that Midori was Queen Pinko, Cynthia Tucker. I could almost sense the mindless hysteria in her posts.
But now after all these years I’m pretty sure that she is Jay Kookman. Again, it’s the mindless hysteria.

rushncap,
How many hours are there between 3:37 and 4:37? Hey, maybe you can try out for that new show, “Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader” I’m betting you’re not.
Now let me explain why lashing out at Andy for those ALL CAPS POSTS is childish. It’s because anyone with an ounce of perception can tell that wasn’t Andy. Had you lashed out at ALL CAPS MAN I would have been on your side, fighting the good fight against CAPS right there with you. Brothers in QWERTY if you will.

Every time we answer those questions you change names so just go back and search finch+iraq seeker+iraq nurse ratched+iraq mirror+iraq nuffsaid+iraq or any of your other names+iraq and all the answers will be right at your fingertips. Just don’t type rushncap+iraq. Anytime you add a word to a rushncap search you wind up in the freakiest places.
It’s kind of a nice deal setting up a magnet to draw terrorists into a place we have 130,000 armed soldiers ready to send then to their virgins, but I know you would prefer it if the Sears Tower got taken out so that you could b!tch at Bush about not preventing it.

Well rushncap, alls I can say is that when posts come from those with informative links, evaluation of content, evidence of research done, you’ve looking at an adult. They’re also excellent at pointing out the absurdities of liberal’s claims.
When they come from others who just like firing off their mouths, offering nothing BUT that, then you’ve got yourself a child. I offer 99.9% of the liberals here at ml’s.
I noticed yesterday that Paul tried to engage you in a conversation regarding “dismissed” military leaders.
You googled for him, feigned disinterest, and left the discussion.
You missed the boat, in other words.

With Gore winning the best feature-length documentary Oscar—who wudda guessed?—for his polemic, “An Inconvenient Truth,” this week’s Oscar extravagance seemed more revival meeting, in which the enraptured believers took the “fact” of manmade climate change as an article of given faith. With the appearance of Gore, the Anti-Bush, on stage, I feared for a moment that the entire audience would burst into flames. Such advice apparently was evidence that the Oscars had committed the revolutionary act of going green. We were supposed to believe this after watching gas-guzzling stretch limos unload their cargo of stars, poseurs and sycophants onto the red carpet that ushered them into the world’s greatest tribute to excess.
I wonder how much gas they let out of their mouths?

My bad, Stalk. I was assuming there was only 1 person on this board stupid and annoying enough to do something like all caps. Not even you or Muff are that desperate yet. I just keep forgetting how many annoying, dumb people there are out there. I keep judging everyone by my friends: “Surely most other people out there are normal, intelligent human beings.” I’m not jaded enough yet, though this board is helping. You are contributing your share, thanks.
@@ — as usual, all self-congratulation, no facts. I answered Paul, then I left because I have a job. If you think I didn’t provide enough links, not my problem. You’re yet to provide a single coherent link for anything useful, so if I were you I wouldn’t run my mouth the way you do. This^^ from the single most arrogant individual I “know”. Squirt has already convinced himself of how great he is. All his life Mommy and Daddy told little baby rushie how great he is. His science professors chimed in. They all forgot that greatness requires character, and little lying rushcap just does not cut the mustard in that department.
But the biggest problem is that he just can’t find a real live girl who believes it.

Yes, Muff, I’m not jaded enough. I still want think that maybe, just maybe the loonies on this board are not representative of the populace at large. Alas, my better sense tells me you are. Which is sad.
As for arrogance, I have none, actually. You see, you’re not the measuring stick I use. If I compared myself to you or Stalk, sure, I’d feel great about myself. But I don’t. I always compare myself to those who are better, smarter, harder-working than me. I don’t compare down to you, I compare up to my friends, parents, professors etc. So arrogant? You know, I wish I was. But I’m not. And, by the way, if my parents and profs told me how great I am, who do you think I’d listen to: great people who know me best, or some online twit without an education or a critical thinking skills? Puh-leeze!

Buy Danish,
I think that weird “you’re a moth and my Mommy is an elephant” post Dmitry directed at you speaks volumes about his mental state. It certainly explains his unearned arrogance, but it also says a lot about his a)hatred for women and b) his porn addiction.

lying squirt rushncap,
You have no arrogance?
You don’t really want me to post some of your really arrogant comments do you? In addition to telling people to clean the drool off their chin you love to tell us how you are surrounded by really smart people, how great and groovy you are. You are not saying that out of modesty. You’re trying to convince us that you are one of them.
You have no critical thinking skills. You buy fairy tales like global warming and darwinism hook, line and sinker without a scintilla of doubt.
Since you are childish it follows that it’s easy for you believe these stories, especially when they’re structured to make everyone who isn’t a committed socialist look like a bad guy. It keeps you from having to face your own demons.
The only thing you’re good at is lying, and you even suck at that. Your parents are fooled, but we aren’t. Unlike them, we don’t have any emotional involvement, or need to hide from the truth.
RW,
Dmitry’s subconcious is always making freudian slips. Moths are attracted to flames.

(((Paul, this was the first Google link on the topic. I don’t have much desire to go through the rest.)))
Notice ^^^ where you said “no desire”?
If you’re talking about “conservative self congratulation”, I attributed 1% to liberal posters.
Nowhere in my post did I congratulate myself. Do you have some sort of complex of something?
I’ve provided numerous in-depth links knowing full well that you and others would choose to skip over them. Not because they weren’t coherent, but because you and others don’t want to comprehend anything other than the sum total of all your liberal bs.
You CAN’T comprehend anything in-depth.
Greatness and self-confidence are too totally different qualities.
Greatness is what YOU claim for yourself, but no man can claim greatness. It has to be bestowed on them by others. It’s not coming your way anytime soon, if ever.
Self-confidence is what I have, and nobody can give it to me. I developed it, I claim it, and I use it to act like an adult.

You’re helping me, Stalk? What can you help me with? Learn how to spruce up a trailer? Show me how to open a beer with my teeth? Direct me to the right doc to get Viagra? I don’t need any of those things, keep that secret knowledge to yourself.
Oh, and I don’t hate women. I hate b!tches, both male and female. You’re one of them. It’s just that on this board most of the b!tches are female. You’re an unpleasant exception.
I also find it amusing how all you uneducated hicks over here are strutting around pretending to have medical degrees and spouting dime-store psychology as if it’s meaningful. What, did you wash the toilets at a med school for a few months and think you picked up some knowledge along with the germs?
Muff, of course I’m surrounded by smart and (sometimes) wonderful people. How’s that make me arrogant? Am I one of them? I hope to be one day. I’ve not earned that right quite yet. As for lying, since you’ll never find a single instance of me doing it, I’ll simply attribute it to wishful thinking on your part, and move on.
Oh, and speaking of freudian slips, do you even know what that means? No, of course you don’t. Oh well. Tell you what, go look it up. It’s my gift to you. Enjoy!

Unbelievable! If you want to find an example of rushncap lying you have to search far and wide, long and hard.
Or you could just look at the post directly above his that posted one minute before him which clearly catches him lying.
Sheesh!
By the way, Dmitry, you’re not very good with the crystal ball either and we know you don’t hate ALL women. The ones in the stack of Playboys in your bathroom can’t talk back to you.
Come to think of it you’re the one that said you needed a stack of porn in the bathroom to be a normal American home. I’ll check all the bathrooms in the “trailer” and get back to you about whether my humble abode is normal.
Now as for your fascination with Viagra I guess it’s possible that when your sex life consists of fumbling through a magazine or clicking on a mouse you might need some help. For those of us with a normal sex life it would be like playing with a corked bat.

James Cameron will one day be in front of Jesus Christ and will see the ONE he said had “died.” He, along with everyone else, will one day be on his knees in front of the risen Christ and will account for his earthly life. And unless he changes his mind—accepts Jesus and repents—he will then be cast into utter darkness for Eternity.
