The stench in the air of Georgia politics is lessened with the departure of these two charlatans.
They are an embarrassment to Christians, African Americans, heck they are an embarrassment to the human species…

I COMPLETELY agree! Good riddance. I saw on the news where McKinney’s own constituents were saying that she was a sore loser. I can’t believe that she even tried to blame the media and “whites” for her loss. Has it ever occurred to her that people are just tired of her crap? Why would anyone want a representative that acted crazy and blamed everything on race?

Ralph Reed is not an embarrassment for Christians. He is a good Christian: hypocritical, self-righteous, deceitful, ignorant, and redneck.
McKinney is not an embarassment for African-Americans. She is a good black: racist, defiant, uncooperative, paranoid, deranged.

Mike - fantastic cartoon of two living, breathing caricatures. I can only hope that both the “Christian” Warlord and the “Race” Warlord go the way of the Dodo bird. I guess Reed could hire Mel Gibson and Cynthia has Billy McKinney, they could both again blame it on the J.E.W.S’s.

Saw a little bit of her followers (New Black Panthers) and they were screaming that it was the Zionists’ fault. One even pushed a white reporter away from the walking group accusing the reporter of being a Zionist happy at McKinney’s failed election.
As those that follow politics and activists groups know, the thugs calling themselves “The New Black Panthers” are not in any way associated to the historic group that fought honorably for civil rights. The new group seems to be made up of racists and bigots and have more in common with the white racists that they claim to oppose.
Since McKinney feels that its a good thing to allie herself with these thugs its a good thing that she is no longer in elected office. Considering she was raised by an individual that we now know is a bigot we should not be suprised by her behaivor now.

Getalife,
While you’re congratulating the Brits on a job well done, you do realize that in addition to wiretapping, email surveillience, and personal surveillience, the most important tool the Brits used was a technique called “Sneak and Peek”.
Didn’t you want to impeach Bush for less than that, or am I confusing you with the other “weak on national security moonbats”?
Huge,
How do you like the fact that instead of correctly labeling terrorists “Islamofascists” or “Pakistani heritage, British National extremist Muslims” the official word the Brits use is “Asians”?
That is bigotry.

“Perhaps… JUST PERHAPS… Georgia voters are not as stupid as I thought they were.”
Eric, I sure hope you’re right about this one, but overall I have very serious doubts. Let’s face it, Georgia is solidly in the red state column and unless education here crawls out of the very lowest percentiles, that will probably not change.
Reed probably lost only because of the Abramoff debaucle. Georgia voters have very short memories (Look at McKinney!) and will either vote him in if ever runs again or will elect someone else very similar from that extremist christian camp.
Speaking of McKinney, again it was probably only that single latest incident with the cop that probably did her in. Although she did have a long history of saying some really stupid things while in office, that people had finally just grown sick of…

I agree, the racist remarks made in the Cynthia Mckinney video were horrible, and uncalled for, jewish people had nothing to do with her losing. And as for the remarks made against white people, you have to understand these “panthers” are just like Cynthia McKinney they are all a bunch of hate-filled,evil people. Why do you think she hired them. But there is a lot of hate going around these days, on both sides. We all know she lost because people were sick and tired of her ineffectiveness, and foolish behavior. My question is—Why did white people brush it off when Mel “Bad Boy” Gibson made the same kinds of remarks. Is there a rule that says whites can say these things and not blacks.

This comes after a traffic stop Tuesday led police to thousands of dollars in cash, several disposable cell phones and instructions of how to obtain private flight information. Police also found a list of flight passengers in the car.”}
{“It also had information about airport checkpoints, and what would be accomplished there, so this is a little bit unusual,” Washington County Sheriff Larry Mincks says.}
Sheriff Mincks also says the disposable cell phones are especially important, because it appears their final destination was supposed to be overseas.

More pablum and pathetic “research” skills from one of the republicans talking head heroes…
FACT CHECK: O’Reilly Claims Conservatives Don’t Call Liberals ‘Racists’ Or ‘Bigots’
Yesterday on Fox News, Bill O’Reilly claimed that he tried to do some “fair and balanced” research, but couldn’t find anyone on the right who calls liberals “haters” — bigots, racists, anti-Semites, or homophobes. (He ignored Michelle Malkin when she admitted that in her columns, she takes “liberal bigots to task for their hypocrisy.”)
Some quick research for O’Reilly found:
Welcome to the 21st century librarian: book-smart, reality-stupid, Bush-deranged bigots. [Malkin, 6/21/06] And yet, I keep reading — and in fact, I think I read in, I believe, I heard you say that there was some crossover vote in this race, something like 20 percent of white voters voted for [New Orleans mayor Ray] Nagin, who is obviously a full-blown racist. [Tucker Carlson, 5/22/06] [Senate Minority Leader Harry] Reid knows a little something about being racist. [Rich Galen, 6/22/06]O’Reilly also dismissed calling liberals “insane,” “harpies,” “witches” or “retarded” as “just the usual partisan rhetoric.”

In an interview with ABC News, Gen George Casey — the top U.S. commander in Iraq — said a civil war in Iraq “certainly is possible.” He described a potential civil war as “the most significant threat right now” in Iraq.
Casey adds his voice to a chorus of top generals — including CentCom commander John Abizaid and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Peter Pace — who warn that Iraq is in danger of sliding into civil war.
But here’s where it gets really good:
Yesterday, President Bush dismissed the concerns expressed by Casey and other Generals. Bush said “You know, I hear people say, Well, civil war this, civil war that. The Iraqi people decided against civil war when they went to the ballot box.”
Delusional King George just keeps showing his utter stupidity on the matter…

Rock Chalk, Jayhawk! Hopefully just another loss in more to come for those loony flat-earth society christians…
Kansas evolves
Angry parents and disgruntled voters in Kansas turned back another attempt to blend religion and science in the classroom. Keep up the fight.
The “conservative” majority of the Kansas Board of Education was swept from office, clearing the way to cancel instructional guidelines that were to go into effect in 2007. They undercut the state’s science curriculum and opened evolution to unsubstantiated attacks. Darwin’s views on the origin of the species are indeed a theory, ripe for vigorous scientific prodding and poking. But challenges to those propositions have come from proponents of so-called intelligent design, who lay off the complexity of life to the work of an unnamed, unidentified supernatural designer.
Evolution’s critics defer to a creator instead of taking on Darwin with science.
Setbacks with voters and in the courts are taking the steam out of a point of view that is best left to a philosophy or religion class.
A federal judge last December knocked down an attempt by a Pennsylvania school district to package religion and science. Voters in the Dover Area School District booted eight of the nine board members who backed inclusion of intelligent design.
Another federal judge in January ruled that stickers debunking evolution could not be pasted on the front of biology books. In February, the Ohio School Board dropped mandatory criticism of evolution from the curriculum.
Kansas voters rightfully reclaimed control of their science classes. Creationism has been repackaged with an intimidating veneer of scientific what-ifs.

A large number of individuals have in fact said a great deal about Gibson’s hate filled scream. Much more than what they have said about the attempt at mass murder in Seattle when an muslim tried to murder six Jewish women but only killed one.

Let me tell you why the middle class is in trouble. Like blacks it has no superego, that is, no ability to postpone enjoyment to the future when it can afford it. As Earl Butz, Nixon’s Sec. of Agriculture, said one time of blacks, “they want loose shoes, tight p….sy, and a warm place to p….s.

Danish — that time of the month, honey?
RW, I used to try to discuss things with you when I was deluded into thinking you were capable of that fact. I now know better. You’re not a waste of skin like Danish, but you’re not able to communicate like an adult either.

I hope that wasn’t more “advise” you are charging for.

What part of Newt Ginrich’s Contract With America ever came to fruition? ZIP! (it was all fatboy lies)
What is the mission of US troops in Iraq? Nobody knows.
Who is the enemy we are fighting, exactly? Nobody knows that either. Who ever shoots a gun that aint us, I guess.
Who are our allies in Iraq? Nobody knows, we think it’s the little children cause we give them candy and everything.

Ah yes, Danish running to mommy (or, in this case, AJC Management) any time something she doesn’t like comes up. Of course she’s too weak, too scared to fight her own sandlot battles, she just has to come crying to adults. Yeah, and these are the people that supposedly don’t want big government. Uh huh.

Correction Blog-Dawg! Some of us know exactly who the enemy is, but some of you just want to call them “Asians” and blame Bush/Cheney/Halliburton and Christians.
Rushncap Honey,
F.Y.I. everytime you use the word “honey”, which according to American etiquette 101 is a term reserved for close family members, you sound like a character out of La Cage aux Folles”. Just helping you out with “What Not to Say”. You’re welcome, Babushka.
BTW, between your endless kuntiness, Huge Pothead’s Pitiful Pontificating, and Getalife’s dictator dreams, I rather enjoy all your attempted insults.
Just today I’ve learned that I’m a bigot for pointing out the truth about Dearbornistan, sick for linking to Michelle Malkin, and a b*itch for pointing out a plaigiarist.
Great work TA!

Danish, honey, it’s called “sarcasm”. I wouldn’t expect you to understand, but try anyways.
And, btw, you’re a b!tch for plenty of reasons, but in today’s case it’s was for that quote of yours that I provided. That has nothing to do with your whining about plagiarism. And, trust me, if you think I sound gay, I don’t really care.
Oh, and for YOUR information “Babushka” is granny, so unless you want to imply that something like you is closely related, biologically, to someone like me, you’d probably want to avoid using that term.

Rushcap moron,
Believe me honey, the AJC is not my “mommy” and I do not to find solace in the arms of Mademoiselle La Croix and the Survey Monkey.
Indeed, other than requesting a return of “italics” (shockingly scandalous of me, I know), pointing out the obvious theft of someone else’s words, and perhaps some poigniant comments about the famous “Pot to Kettle” cartoon, I doubt you could find too many examples on this blog of my communicating with them.
Oh yes, there was that time where I pointed out to Rodney Ho that he was leaving his readers vulnerable, but surely you do not object to that now do you?

rushcrap honey,
Re your defense of the use of the word “honey”, call it what you want, but you sound gay as a blade. But hey, you’re free to write whatever you want, however you wish. Just keep in mind that it does not do wonders for your insistent claims that you are truly a manly man.
BTW, I know what “babushka” means little schoolchild. It was just a little “pot to kettle” sarcasm to throw backatcha. If you believe that I “insinuated” that we are related, then you must look at yourself as a granny figure. Oh well, suit yourself, but I’m not interested in adopting you.
Re the AJC, would you prefer that plaigiarists flourish, the security of the AJC readers be imperiled and that we be forbidden to use “italics”? You really can’t take any challenge to the Left’s status quo can you? What a wimp!
Gotta run.

Danish, only right-wing morons believe that “gay” is an insult. I don’t care if you think that I’m gay, or black, or female or 7 foot tall. I’m none of those things, but it would not matter if I were any or all of them. Only your warped “mind” (I’m still not sure you have one, but for the purposes of this post I’ll assume that) does that make someone less than what they are. I’ve known plenty of gay men who are far more “manly” than RW and li’l andy put together and multiplied by a 100. And I’ve known lesbians who have more femininity in a shed hair than you do in your whole bile-filled b!tch body. Why don’t you just stick to what you know best: whining to authority figures when something rubs you the wrong way.

Terror. As always, the Brits perform quietly, efficiently, with dignity. Our American enforcement heroes, on the other hand, engage in typical mouthy braggadocio while accomplishing little. The FBI (Fumbling Bunch of Idiots), under Bush and his fellow fools, are still shouting to the skies their impressive arrests of the infamous “Miami Seven.” Here in Miami we know the FBI well. That penniless group of misfits could have been taken into custody singlehandedly using nothing more than a thumb and forefinger. Every day becomes more embarrassing to be an American. Pitiful really.

‘Lord Help Us’ I will assume that you also feel Bill Clinton, Tom Delay, Newt Gingrich (need I name more) to be embarrassments to anglo-americans. why do some people continue to believe that one apple represents the whole basket???
While I don’t agree with all of Cynthia McKinney’s tactics, I will admit that she is the one person in Congress (or the Senate) who is willing to speak against what most of us know is wrong in our nation’s capital with all its political shenanigans.
I heard an older gentlemen state more than ten years ago that “this country is going to hell in a hand basket”. One could say it is politicians who are taking us there, but the truth of the matter is that the people of this country are happy to hop on the bus ride.

Public records reveal that as AlGore lectures Americans on excessive consumption, he and his wife Tipper live in two properties: a 10,000-square-foot, 20-room, eight-bathroom home in Nashville, and a 4,000-square-foot home in Arlington, Va. (He also has a third home in Carthage, Tenn.) For someone rallying the planet to pursue a path of extreme personal sacrifice, Gore requires little from himself.
Then there is the troubling matter of his energy use. In the Washington, D.C., area, utility companies offer wind energy as an alternative to traditional energy. In Nashville, similar programs exist. Even the Bush administration is using green energy for some federal office buildings, as are thousands of area residents…. But according to public records, there is no evidence that Gore has signed up to use green energy in either of his large residences. Talk about inconvenient truths.
