Put a couple of jihadists peeking in from behind the sofa; a Lamont button on the politician sitting left; a toddler on the right, and you’ve got a cartoon that depicts reality. The self-serving interests of the “extreme left-wing” of the Democrat party.

Title for the cartoon “Sunshine Lollipops & Rainbows”.

Washington, D.C. - A new shocking tell-all book by George W. Bush’s childhood nanny claims that the president wet his bed throughout his entire adolescence and beyond. No, it doesn’t have anything to do with today’s cartoon, which is right on and very funny. It was just a weak childish “I hate ‘merica liberal moment for which I do not apologize. Think of it as a gift to all who call themselves conservative in this neighborhood. It made me laugh like a rushbaugh on Oxycontin.

Isn’t it interesting that the Right has tried to make Ned Lamont out as a dangerous left-winger and radical? Hell, he has made millions the capitalist way and shows no signs of being a leftist. He is just disgusted with Bush’s catastrophic failures, as any decent person would be. The Right is the Crazy Part of our nation, authoritarian, up-tight, falsely patriotic, self-righteous, redneck pious, and stupid. Just the kind of people who need to be institutionalized.

McKinney and Lieberman are history.

Thank you Ga. and Ct.

Now for the GOP and the rest of the career politicians.

For our country, republicans should stay at home in November. We need a Dem majority for accountability for the failed W administration. After, they are held accountable and they undo all the failed policies and start enforcing the laws, we can finally move forward and in the right direction.

Things are looking better.

No wonder the Democrats are losing out left and right.

Liberal Texas Democrat and Lord Help Us are only concerned with who wet their bed as a child, a problem they probably had.

Candide gives us the latest word from the “Institution”, place of residence.

Getalife is celebrating the fact that two Democratic primaries are over and the Dems lost one “nut” and picked up an anti-war (but I support the troops!!) candidate.

Reuters is not entirely innocent. If an amateur in photography like Mr. Johnson can discern fakery, why couldn’t Reuters’ professional editors? The answer lies in media bias. Reuters, for example, won’t call terrorists “terrorists.” Media bias is not a conspiracy, but something worse, a consensus. This consensus prevents reporters and editors from acting as professionals. We’ve seen this with Dan Rather and the “60 Minutes” forged documents purporting to show George W. Bush as an Air National Guard slacker. Reuters editors saw in the doctored photographs what they believed to be true, and didn’t bother to analyze or question.-WashingtonTimes

But hearing a Connecticut Democrat on the local radio across the Long Island Sound sneering that Joe Lieberman is the Senator “from Israel”…In truth? I almost ran off the road. I feel sorry for Democrats. Sort of. The party of FDR, Harry Truman, and JFK has come to this? A July 18 event in suburban Detroit eerily resembled a Nazi rally circa 1938. One noted speaker, Osama Siblani of the Congress of Arab-American Organizations, whooped, “We know that the president is being bought by the Zionist lobby! We know that the Congress is being bought by the Zionist lobby!” When a Muslim speaker unveiled a portrait of Hezbollah’s Terrorist-in-chief Sheik Hassan Nasrallah, the crowd erupted into extravagent hoots and hollars.-AmericanSpectator

The good news is that Sunni insurgency is exhausted and there is plenty of internal chatter questioning just how long they can keep up the pace of the violence. Their equal numbers in mayhem, the Mahdi Army militias, have descended into a chaotic grab for money, rather than a concerted effort to wage a civil war. The latter are not Hezbollah, and they can be confronted and scattered relatively easily. Secure Baghdad, and those who stand against the state will be demoralized and broken, and the middle-class will be tempted to risk retaking their country back from the hooligans.-NYSun

Seeing is not believing. At this rate the errata column at the Times may exceed the “news” coverage.

AP, N.Y. Times raising the dead? News agencies run photographs of ‘deceased’ who ‘appear alive’

{{Notice the “body” in the back who appears to be sitting upright in this AP photo

An Associated Press photograph of a “dead man” who is sitting upright underneath a sheet and a New York Times series that appears to have one man as both rescuer and victim are prompting more questions about U.S. media coverage of the Mideast conflict.

The AP photo shows half a dozen “bodies” in a row on the ground and covered by sheets, with what appears to be a young boy standing on some rubble in the background.

It is among the latest U.S. media photographs of the Mideast war to fall under suspicion. Another photograph of a “body” that was described by the New York Times as having been pulled from the dusty rubble of a building, although there was no dust on the body, also was being reviewed.

The AP caption described the scene as bodies of Lebanese residents in the southern village of Oana. They are, the caption says, “laid covered after they were removed from under the rubble of a demolished building … that was struck by Israeli war plane missiles.”}}

It was Golda Meir who said the Arabs would have to learn to love their own children more than they hate Israelis.

She, by the way, was sacked because she did not prepare for an Arab attack properly. In the last years of Sharon’s power he failed to anticipate the Hizbollah growth in south Lebanon. He did nothing until it was too late. The Israelis have shown that they are not supermen, just like everyone else.

I do suspect Lieberman’s intransigeance has something to do with his Zionism but that doesn’t explain why other Jewish legislators, House and Senate, do not collaborate with the Bush fascists like Lieberman.

Just like he said nothing about homosexuality nor that we should believe that abortion is murder nor that we should kill off our enemies… you Old Testament, flat-Earth believers need to stop calling yourselves Christian, if you don’t believe in what Jesus had to say. Nor am I less persuaded, that you will agree with me in opinion, that there is nothing, which can better deserve your patrionage, than the promotion of Science and Literature. Knowledge is in every Country the surest basis of public happiness. In one, in which the measures of Government recieve their impression so immediately from the sense of the Community as in our’s, it is proportionably essential. To the security of a free Constitution it contributes in various ways: By convincing those, who are entrusted with the public administration, that every valuable end of Government is best answered by the enlightened confidence of the people: And by teaching the people themselves to know and to value their own rights; to discern and provide against invasions of them; to distinguish between oppression and the necessary exercise of lawful authority; between burthens proceeding from a disregard to their convenience and those resulting from the inevitable exigencies of Society; to discriminate the spirit of liberty from that of licentiousness, cherishing the first, avoiding the last, and uniting a speedy, but temperate vigilence against encroachments, with an inviolable respect to the laws.

If McGovern had won in ‘72, maybe we wouldn’t have Texistan today either… and the world would be so much better in many ways. Tens of thousands of Americans would not have been slaughtered in Viet Nam, for one. Instead we had Tricky Dick with his “secret plan” to win that war, which only meant that more carnage had to occur before he finally ended it.

I get it, if the libs don’t like you pointing out people who want to kill Americans and Israelis then they label you a “bigot.” It may work up in their tiny little mind…..

This brings us to the events of this past week in central Londonistan where tens of thousands of Britains — many British Muslims — paraded through the streets, waving Hezbollah flags and chanting, “We are all Hezbollah!” And “Bush: World’s #1 Terrorist.” The powwow was organized by the Stop the War Coalition, a group formed to oppose the U.S.-led war on terror, and which seems intent on importing the tensions and conflict of the Middle East to Europe and Main Street USA — not least by inviting Jew-hating rabblerousers as guest speakers. Such rallies are taking place all over the free world. {{{{{A July 18 event in suburban Detroit eerily resembled a Nazi rally circa 1938.}}}}} One noted speaker, Osama Siblani of the Congress of Arab-American Organizations, whooped, “We know that the president is being bought by the Zionist lobby! We know that the Congress is being bought by the Zionist lobby!” When a Muslim speaker unveiled a portrait of Hezbollah’s Terrorist-in-chief Sheik Hassan Nasrallah, the crowd erupted into extravagent hoots and hollars.

It is what it is, just because you choose to stick your head up your own a-ss….

I’ll ask you one more time: Was Julia Ward Howe a “War Whore”? Until you can answer that simple question there is no point in communicating any further with an idiot who manages to be both Useful and Useless.

Huge Masturbating Mullah,

Do you ever stop your endless, mindless wanking? If anyone needs to apologize, it’s Moderate Muslims who are letting their religion be hijacked by a bunch of fanatics.

Do you think that allowing, even encouraging, a population of Hezbollah supporters to emigrate and preach the destruction of America and Israel is a groovy idea? Is it bigoted of me to point out the dangers inherent in this sort of cultural invasion, or are you an Open Borders advocate?

Since it’s in the news now, try reading about Lebanon’s history. Hint: It used to be a Christian nation. I’ll make it easy for you - start with this interview with Brigitte Gabriel.

Look at Lebanon now. Is it still the “Paris of the Middle East”? Is there a “Christian shortage” in Lebanon? How about in Bethlehem?

Keep on spinning it. You are just painting yourself closer and closer to that corner.

Oh, and guess what, bigot? I used to be opposed to the idea of a wall or “fence” along the border (seemed a little too Berlin-like for me). But I do think it’s now time to build one. As a soverign nation, we have the right and responsibility to know who is coming into this country. However, lets face it, much of this debate from the republican side is anti-mexican, anti-canadian, anti anybody and everybody hatred cloaked in national security talk/fear mongering. The same way you blather on about the countless Hezbollah emigrants in Detroit. Practical solutions, including having human intelligence in the mosques, etc. seems like a far more efective approach than your heavy-handed gestapo-like war whore leanings.

WTF? When this loon is cornered, he often uses this typical republican ploy. Come up with an entirely off-subject item to deflect attention away from his bigotry and complete inability and fear to debate the subject at hand.

So in this particular instance he spins the conversation away from the topic of the danish bigot’s “analysis” that Detroit is being overrun with muslim suicide bombers to the completely out of the blue observation that Israel was attacked first.

Again, WTF? Probably comes straight out of Karl Rove’s playbook, that national best-seller “Political Lies/How to Cut and Run”.

Midori, When I first found this little place a couple of months ago, I was amazed that people like suck of many names and the bigoted dane seemed to get away with their awful name-calling and juvenile diatribes with almost complete impunity. And, its true that many of us non-republicans, to our discredit, responded in kind.

But there was absolutely no doubt in my mind that like so many other cases in this country now, these extremist republicans, who cloak themselves in terms like conservatives, were the primary reason this blog is something little more than an excercise in childish temper tantrums. And much more importantly, their insane desire to turn this nation into 1930’s Germany.

I’m sure that in their ultra-angry and self-righteous minds those here are just parroting the countless examples they have to follow: Limbaugh, Hannity, Boortz, Coulter, O’Reilly, Liddy and on and on and on, ad nauseum. (there must be dozens, maybe hundreds more of these talking heads that I don’t even know, but I’m sure they do!)

I warned lil andykins that the choice was his. Either turn down the hate speech or be prepared for what was coming. And for the most part, to his credit, he did eliminate some of his most foul names and expletives. But he continued to act like a school yard bully with a major league bug up his a*s, and to this day, he defiantly and proudly continues with his aberrant and sociopathic behavior and speech.

And although he has a lot of sickening ideas, his four sycophants are to me, the most nauseating. They merrily skip along with him, NO MATTER HOW DESPICABLE HE GETS! (Remember RW’s challenge to me to provide five examples of andy’s hate speech! I still laugh over that one!)

I truly believe that other than danish, the others are not terribly fond of his garbage-filled shenanigans, but their blind republican ideology forces them all to consider him a strong and valuable ally.

I have some moderate, intelligent and reasonable gop friends that I know either personally or through business, and make no mistake about it, they are not even remotely similar to these thugs. We can have heated but rational and respectful disagreements over issues, like Iraq. Numerous times I have been the only non-republican in a roomful of people, but I’ve never felt that I would ever compromise my beliefs to accomadate the majority. Nor would I ask them to compromise theirs.

Huge fool,

There is nothing contradictory with @@’s two responses to you when you read the full comment and context. Your dishonesty doesn’t allow you to do that, but anyone else reading can see it.

Furthermore, when have you EVER discussed a topic? I’ve looked and I can’t find any evidence that you have ever done anything but pompous name calling in the most vile language possible. It’s true that you often tell us how much you know and how much you like to discuss these things, but you NEVER come through.

Now this is ml’s blog to run as he sees fit, but since you seem to want to make rules for people you should follow that rule and leave. <————-That’s also what @@ was saying. See? It’s your choice, but it is time for you to put up or shut up about what you think you know.

@@, you demanding that someone else stop attacks on you is like Mike Tyson climbing into the ring and demanding that the other guy stop punching him. Huge Fatuous Fathead,

My comment about the chaderi-clad women wanting their own beach is based on something you are completely unfamliar with: Knowledge of history and current events.

I know you hate to click on little blue lines, but before you open your Huge ignorant Fat Mouth one more time, why don’t you try learning something, just once?

Here’s a preamble - “Truth is not Bigotry”

A snippet, and I couldn’t have said it better myself:

“If they want to live here, they should remember that they are owed nothing more than what every other immigrant who came before them received: an opportunity to make a life for themselves here and to be loyal to the nation who welcomed them. If they want to live here, then they should be pledging allegiance to the United States, and not pledging allegiance to its demise. Too many of them who carry the Islamist mindset have been permitted to migrate here. It is unacceptable. In my book I’ve compiled numerous examples of Muslims who have migrated to Western lands and have publicly demonstrated their disdain for Western culture. If they’re that unhappy, then they should know that we have survived as a nation without them for 230 years, and that they are free to head back home.”

Moving right along, here’s the skinny on segregated beaches in non-Muslim countries

Is Rome too far away? How about demands for segregated gyms for Muslim women in the U.S. or segregated basketball in our public schools?

I could go on forever, but hopefully there is one brain cell active in that pigheaded brain of yours that can “assimilate” some of the info I have provided^^.

What we need to do now is reassess the current environment and modify our tactics and strategy as necessary to deal with the escalating chaos and, just as important, take Iran out of the picture. These are not impossible objectives. We still enjoy a tactical “window of opportunity” in which to take decisive action. But it does mean unleashing our full military capabilities. A measured response will not get the job done. As in most wars, if you want to win you must bring overwhelming force into play.-WashingtonTimes

The Democrats, who are in the grip of their party’s leftist, anti-war pacifist wing, have played into the GOP’s hands on this one. Defining their party’s national security posture by how fast they would pull out of Iraq does not instill confidence that they are prepared to do whatever is necessary to keep America safe. Nor does their opposition to warrantless surveillance of terrorist phone calls, terrorist bank accounts and strengthening the anti-terrorist Patriot Act.-WashingtonTimes

The letter in the German newspaper shines a clarifying and sobering light on a strategy that, like terrorism itself, is used precisely because it works. In an age in which many organizations and even some countries are prepared to sacrifice their own civilians in the service of killing ours — and are prepared to do so by situating their weapons, even weapons of mass destruction, in places of human habitation — we have to be ready for more Qanas. We have to be ready to place the blame for such Qanas on those who engineer them. We have to learn how to expose the depraved but effective logic that will make those Qanas happen. And we have to learn how to fight a war that’s built on that logic even if we can’t always be absolutely sure that innocents won’t suffer as a result.-NYSun
