Its funny to hear how people try to blame what is going on in the Middle East on the current administration. They say GW destablized the Middle East. Please show me when it was stable. This has been one of the most complex and frustrating problems in the world since 1948. Every president has tried to remedy the situation. I give them all credit for at least trying. It was probably the most honorable thing Clinton did during his tenure in office. The problem is there are extremists on both sides that don’t want the issue to die. Aaaaah, I’m up to speed, now. Mine was the only post Andykins could have been addressing. The weekend threats are, of course, Andykins trying to get me to STFU. How many times has this child pulled this same stunt. If I am indeed guilty of his actions then why am I not in jail? Why am I not afraid?

If you read the details of that threat it isn’t the same thing as anyone threatening to expose what an idiot you are.

This person claims to have already compromised the security of the Google/blogspot servers, the AJC servers, and the LGF servers and has claimed to have already begun the commission of additional crimes against their life and property. I defy you to find anything that remotely compares.

If you aren’t involved and have even the tiniest modicum of intelligence I would suggest you stay out of until contacted by the FBI or you make your own report. If you didn’t notice, anyone here that is not a perpetrator is equally a potential victim.

Perhaps you should take the time to read what was posted. If you have first hand knowledge that this is a fake then I’m sure things can be cleared up right away.

I don’t believe they have done or are capable of doing what they claim. I wouldn’t have thought a few guys with box cutters could bring down the World Trade Towers and kill 3000 people either, so I’ll let authorities deal with it.

I’m also not going to open myself up to personal liability by ignoring the blanket threat that was made to everybody on all these sites. The threat was left on my site, but not directed to me or my site exclusively and I’m not in the position to decide for everyone else if they or their family is in physical or financial peril. B***h and moan all you want, but read it. This wasn’t an “I’m going to kick your butt” kind of blog threat.

Look….for somebody like me, who has limited knowledge of accessing information on a computer, this person/persons revealed enough detailed information on the process that it led me to believe they were capable of doing what they claimed. To protect one’s family should be a natural reaction when threatened.

To me, it’s irrelevant whether they can do what they claim or not. IT WAS A THREAT TO MY FINANCIAL RECORDS, MY HOME ADDRESS & MY FAMILY. Any reasonable person would see it as such.

It appears as though nobody here can enlighten me as to the validity of his/her/their claims so I did the right thing. I reported it.

Here is a little story I posted for Charles and his readers. The FBI visited him about two readers sending lame e-mail threats to a Muslim group.

The readers were pissed and Charles let them know he did not appreciate the FBI paying him a visit.

I kindly reminded them how they were taking away rescources in tracking the terrorists. Of course, they attacked me and said that the e-mail did not threaten anyone. I kindly reposted, why are they visiting Charles then?

They have units set up to track different things. Reporting a potential threat made over the internet to the internet crimes division does not take time or resources away from any other unit. All they have to do is seize the server logs where the threat originated then track the info down to the exact source and then question the person that left it.

Dubya, besides your religous slurs, lets discuss your post because this line of arguement is hilarious to me. Please explain to me how the Middle East was stable before we invaded Iraq. In the last five years we have seen Egypt and the Palenstians hold truly democratic elections. Lebanon kicked Syria out. And Qadafi voluntarily gave up his weapons program. Now did the elections in Palenstine turn out the way we wanted? No they didn’t. However, the reason they are fighting right now is because there are extremists on both sides that refuse to accept anything other than the absolute defeat of their enemy. This is a very complex issue and it is disingenous to just blame it on one person because you disagree with their policies.

rushncap, The Branch Davidians were a small isolated group. There’s a big difference between them and Islamic Jihad.

Time was on the side of the F.B.I. at Waco. They used “escalated stress tactics” on an unstable and wounded Koresh. Not a tactic used when going for a favorable outcome involving children.

I speculate it could have been resolved peacefully. Clinton grew impatient and then placed the blame somewhere else. Cheap shot.

What role did President Clinton play in overseeing the handling of the crisis and in authorizing the tear-gas plan?

On April 18, in a conversation with Reno, the President endorsed the gas plan. Although Clinton distanced himself from the matter after April 19, saying it has been Reno’s call, FRONTLINE has learned that Clinton apparently followed developments at Waco closely through some of his closest White House aides

If Bush knew that a bunch of Islamic radicals were holding these innocents in the Trade Towers and started storming the place when there was no compelling reason to do so then I would be saying the same thing about him I do about Clinton.

Assuming that it was Koresh that murdered his own people, and there is a considerable body of thought that disputes that, it was the fault of an unnecessary siege that Clinton only undertook to try to prove he was a tough on crime.

Why do you hate American troops?? If you really supported them, you would support the re-institution of the draft so that we wouldn’t have to send so many troops back to the middle east for 2, 3 or 4 combat tours. And we could allow troops to retire or get discharged rather than forcing them to stay in the service against their will.

Andy’s just angry because he cannot reconcile his love for GWB and his strong desire not to reinstitute the draft, though he claims to support American servicemen and women. How can one say they support our soldiers, yet oppose the draft.

This administration forcibly extends enlistments, defers retirements, and sends troops to the middle east for 3 or more combat tours rather than re-institute the draft. But this administration opposes the draft because it is POLITICALLY risky. It is hypocrisy to say one supports our troops, yet opposes the draft.

For all of you folks who have forgotten the 90’s and wish we had continued trusting the ever peaceful UN and their Security Council of conflicting interest. The link below is a good read from the Weekly Standard and published by The Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, 1998.

It is true, moreover, for superpowers as well as for dictators that nothing succeeds like success. A successful intervention in Iraq would revolutionize the strategic situation in the Middle East, in ways both tangible and intangible, and all to the benefit of American interests. Continued failure to take such action against Saddam will progressively erode our strategic position and will put the world on notice as the 21st century begins that the Americans, like the French and British of the 1930s, have lost their nerve.

But, it is the democrat way to leave the hard work up to someone else. You know, have the American majority dependent on the few and trust American security will be ensured by the UN.

What about people who think it is no business of the government to steal money from individuals and use it to fund medical research? Would they be a capitalist believer in the free market and if so what would that make the government lovers? Why does nothing seem to count, to some folks, unless we surrender the power to the federal government? Isn’t there a massive profit motive to fund this research? Why do people love to give more and more power to government and then complain when that power corrupts politicians?

What would someone be who judges others spiritual beliefs and classifies them as “christo-fascist nut cases”, understanding?

Leave the government out of it.
