It was the Echo Dot, according to new data released by the e-commerce company. In fact, it was also the top-selling product available from any manufacturer across all categories on Amazon.com.

Its newer Alexa-enabled devices were all the rage this winter, too, according to the analysis. The Echo Spot, Echo Dot and Echo Buttons all sold out during the holiday season, with "tens of millions" of Alexa-enabled devices sold worldwide.

The Fire TV Stick with Alexa Voice Remote was another hot ticket item. Customers bought more than twice as many Amazon Fire TV Sticks, compared to last holiday season.

"Since Day One we have obsessed over what we believe our customers care about – incredible deals and low prices, fast and free shipping, and a wide selection of top products – and we continue to provide all three, all the time," Jeff Wilke, CEO of Worldwide Consumer, said in a statement.

The corporation didn’t just gather information on sales, it also collected details on how consumers used its items.

The most requested song from Alexa customers this holiday season was “Jingle Bells,” and Martinis and Manhattans were the most popular cocktails.

Additionally, users turned on their holiday lights more than a million times with Alexa, and they also asked for tens of millions of jokes this holiday season.
