Winning lotto ticket nets $219,000 for Loganville retiree
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
A 74-year-old Loganville woman won almost $219,000 from the Georgia Lottery.
Flora Williams purchased her Fantasy 5 Quik Pik at a Shell Food Mart on Buford Drive in Buford. Last week, she learned she matched all five winning numbers for the $218,968 jackpot, lottery officials said Monday.
“I almost went out of my body. It was such a surprise,” Williams said in a statement.
Williams is retired from a nearby suit factory. She said she plans to save the majority of her winnings.
