Winder man killed in wreck
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
A Friday afternoon wreck in Barrow County left a Winder man dead.
The crash happened about 5:30 p.m. on Ga. 11, according to Officer Rachel Love, spokeswoman for Winder police.
Andrew Christopher Stephens, 31, was driving a 2000 Ford Explorer that collided with a tractor-trailer that was hauling heavy construction equipment, Love said.
She said Stephens was ejected from his vehicle and died at the scene.
The cause of the accident remained under investigation early Saturday, Love said.
