A 21-year-old University of Georgia student is facing child pornography charges after a technical support company sent his computer to authorities.

On the laptop, police found disturbing images of sexually abused children, the Athens Banner-Herald reports. One image showed a bound, naked toddler  and another showed a child as young as 3 years old, according to warrants obtained by the newspaper.

Kyle Thomas Glasser is charged with three counts of sexual exploitation of a child.

"People need to understand when they look at these images they are fueling an industry that exploits children in a way that's emotionally and physically harmful," UGA Police Chief Jimmy Williamson told the newspaper.

Glasser sent the laptop to a Minnesota company for repairs, and the company found one of the images. The company gave the laptop to Minneapolis police.

One of the arrest warrants states that the naked toddler's image was in a file that referred to "pedo" rape and torture, according to the Banner-Herald.

Arrested Wednesday, Glasser posted bond Thursday afternoon and was released from the Clarke County Jail.
