MARTA trains have resumed normal operations after a male passenger fell on the southbound platform at West End Station, officials said.

A bus bridge was in place between the Lakewood and Five Points stations earlier Monday while officials worked to restore rail service, MARTA spokeswoman Stephany Fisher told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution in an email.

Emergency crews have removed the man from the scene, she said. His condition is not known.

No other details were released.
