Williams allegedly pulled a gun and shot the teen in the hip, Atlanta police spokeswoman Kim Jones said.
Williams was arrested and charged with aggravated assault and the teen was taken to a local hospital, she said.
Williams is the pastor of the Mechanicsville United Church of God in Christ on McDaniel Street.
