SunTrust branch in Buckhead robbed
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
Atlanta police Friday were investigating a late morning bank robbery in Buckhead.
The SunTrust branch in the 3000 block of Peachtree Road was robbed shortly after 10 a.m., Atlanta police spokesman Eric Schwartz said.
Schwartz said the robber, described only as a black male wearing a blue baseball cap and a blue jacket, was last seen running from the bank near Peachtree and Roswell roads.
The suspect's description does not fit that of an alleged serial bank robber hitting northside area banks.
