UNC will take on UMass in Southern Showdown
North Carolina will take on Massachusetts in the Southern Showdown lacrosse event on Feb. 16 at
Kennesaw State.
Gates will open at 9:30 a.m. Game time is 1 p.m. at
Kennesaw State Stadium.
The Tar Heels, led by Marcus Holman, went 11-6 in 2012. They defeated Penn State in last year's Showdown.
UMass, led by Will Manny, went 15-1 last year in winning the Colonial Athletic Association regular-season and tournament titles.
