Mardy Fish has committed to defend his title for a third time at this summer's BB&T Atlanta Open.

Fish, at No. 10 the highest-ranked American men's tennis player in the world, is 7-6 this year. He hasn't played on the ATP World Tour since undergoing surgery in early April to correct faulty wiring in his heart. He is supposed to return to tournament play later this month at Queen's Club.

The BB&T Atlanta Open will be played at Atlantic Station July 14-22.

Fish won't be the only familiar face.

John Isner, a former Georgia great who has twice been beaten by Isner in the Atlanta finals, has already committed  to return. Isner is ranked No. 11 and is having a stellar year. Earlier this year, he defeated top-ranked Novak Djokovic in the semifinals at Indian Wells and No. 3 Roger Federer in the Davis Cup.

Joining Fish and Isner are Andy Roddick, who won the tournament in 2001, James Blake, a 10-time winner on the ATP Tour who was beaten by Isner last year, and up-and-coming American Ryan Harrison, who advanced to last year's semifinals.

Joining them are Jack Sock, another up and coming American. International players include  Kevin Anderson, Matthew Ebden, Tatsuma Ito, Lukas Lacko, Denis Istomin, Yen-Hsun Lu, Xavier Malisse, Leonardo Mayer, Gilles Muller, and Go Soeda. Every player on the international side is ranked within the top 80.
