Soldier from Columbus killed in Iraq

An Army soldier from Columbus was killed Monday in a wreck in Iraq, the Department of Defense announced Wednesday.
Spc. Lakeshia M. Bailey, 23, died of injuries sustained in a vehicle rollover in Al Kut, Iraq, the DOD said.
Sgt. Aaron M. Arthur, 25, of Lake City, S.C., also was killed.
They were assigned to the 203rd Brigade Support Battalion, 3rd Infantry Division, based at Fort Benning near Columbus.
