The Retreat, a 72-unit apartment building for seniors, will be dedicated at 10 a.m. today in Marietta.

Fifty units will be reserved for individuals and couples with incomes below $45,900 and the other 22 will be available regardless of income.

The project became possible when the Georgia Department of Community Affairs awarded $6.7 million in low income housing tax credits to the Marietta Housing Authority’s development subsidiary and its development partner, Columbia Residential.

Applications are being taken at the property at 118 Haynes St., next to the Dorsey Manor high-rise on Lemon Street. For information, call 678-594-0909.
