A Roswell man who cut his ankle bracelet and robbed a woman at knife-point was sentenced to 13 years in prison.

Delvin Gray, 19, pleaded guilty to a series of stick-ups in Roswell's Latino community, one after violating home arrest.

Gray was indicted last month by a Fulton County grand jury on multiple counts of armed robbery, robbery and burglary, court officials said.

The first robbery spree happened between February and March 2008 in and around the Aspen Apartment complex on Crique Way.

A witness working on a house near High Creek Drive heard a woman screaming and saw Gray run past him and into another home, court officials said.

Gray was arrested at the home, and victims from other robberies days earlier identified him as the perpetrator in at least three additional crimes.

Following his arrest, Gray was released on bond and placed on house arrest. But in January 2009, he cut his ankle monitor and robbed a woman at knife-point as she was walking home from the bus stop.

Gray was sentenced to 13 years in prison without eligibility for parole, and must remain on probation for seven years after his release, court officials said.
