Kelvin McDuffie’s family say they don’t understand why anyone would hurt the 25-year-old University of Georgia student.
He had overcome his own mother’s arrest to become an Army Reservist with a dream of opening a restaurant.
But someone shot McDuffie and left his body in a remote area of Athens-Clarke County. And nearly 14 years later, police say they still haven’t solved the crime.
