The Atlanta Journal-Constitution

Johns Creek High School has been recognized by the National Wildlife Federation as a Certified Wildlife Habitat. The certification means the school is nationally recognized as a wildlife friendly habitat, with the grounds providing food, water, cover, and places for wildlife to raise young. The recognition contributes toward the city's upcoming certification as a National Wildlife Federation Community Wildlife Habitat. Johns Creek would be the 51st certified community in the nation and the second city in Georgia.
