Robber targets same bank twice
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
Dunwoody Police are looking for a man who may have robbed the same bank twice in one week.
The first robbery occurred at noon on Halloween at the bank branch at 4570 Ashford Dunwoody Rd. A slender white man who appeared to be between 20 and 30 years old, wearing a gray, blue and white polo shirt with khaki pants and a dark-colored baseball cap demanded money from an employee. Witnesses saw him flee in a burgundy Chevrolet Tahoe with running boards, back trim and a missing right rear hubcap.
The second incident at 5 p.m. Thursday involved a man with a similar appearance and getaway vehicle. The robber wore a maroon polo shirt and light-colored pants with a tan baseball cap and sunglasses. Surveillance video from a neighboring business shows a burgundy Chevrolet Tahoe.
Dunwoody Police say the suspect may be responsible for other robberies in Sandy Springs, Roswell and Atlanta.
