A Roswell man killed his mother and himself, police say, after writing a lengthy letter detailing how he'd like their funerals to be handled.

The bodies of Kyle Webb, 50, and his mother, Wilma Webb, 86, were discovered in her King Road home by police Saturday after a family friend received the letter.

It is not known when the killings occurred, but neighbors told police they had seen Wilma Webb Friday.

Roswell police spokeswoman Linda Holland said Kyle Webb had money woes, but would not elaborate.

"He did not want to burden his mother with his financial problems," said Holland.

Wilma Webb was in good health, according to neighbors and friends, said Holland.

Kyle Webb's two-page typed letter outlined his financial situation, suggested a funeral home and indicated where the two should be buried.

“There's no word greater than tragedy and that's what it is,” neighbor Nina Shields told Channel 2 Action News.
