Milton to hold electronics recycling day

Milton is going green on Saint Patrick’s Day by partnering with Verizon Wireless on an electronics recycling day from 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday at the company’s local headquarters at 1 Verizon Place.

Acceptable items include computers, telephones, shredders and electronic toys. Not acceptable are refrigerators, freezers and televisions. To see a complete list of acceptable and non-acceptable items, go to www.cityofmiltonga.us.

Participants can win a kit that includes water-saving items such as a reduced water shower head and bathroom aerators. Winners will be randomly selected.
