The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
City of Milton Police officers will be serving citizens in a different way next Tuesday.
From 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., officers will serve lunch at Dickey's Barbecue Pit as part of the "Tip a Cop" event to raise money for Special Olympics. All tips to the officers will go toward the department's fundraising efforts.
While at the restaurant, officers will offer commemorative Torch Run shirts and hats for a donation of $10. Dickey's Barbecue Pit is located at 13075 Highway 9 North in the Deerfield Place shopping center.
