Man killed, mother and 4 children injured in crash on Holcomb Bridge Road
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
A man was killed and a mother and four children were injured in a multi-vehicle crash on Holcomb Bridge Road Thursday morning, according to Roswell police.
The accident just after 8 a.m. was caused when the man’s pickup truck crossed the centerline of the road and hit a minivan and then a car. Another car also was involved after it was hit by debris from the other collisions, according to Sgt. B.C. Brackett.
The mother driving the minivan is in serious condition at North Fulton Regional Hospital, Brackett said. The children, ranging in ages from 10 months to 7 years, were not seriously hurt, according to Brackett.
The drivers of the other two cars were not injured.
None of the names of the people involved in the accident have been released. Brackett did not know the relationships of the woman and four children in the minivan.
Investigators were waiting for blood test results before determining why the man drove his truck into an on-coming lane.
