Man burned in Atlanta house fire
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
A man was rushed to Grady Memorial Hospital Monday after a home under construction in north Atlanta caught fire.
The man was working on a two-story home in the 4200 block of Brookhaven Drive shortly before 1 p.m. Monday when it burst into flames, Atlanta Fire spokesman Capt. Bill May said.
Firefighters had the fire under control in 12 minutes, May said.
Paramedics rushed the 31-year-old man, whose name has not been released, to Grady with first and second-degree burns on his arm. He remains in stable condition, May said.
The fire was accidental, May said.
