Couple in critical condition after train wreck

A couple is in critical condition after being struck by a CSX train Saturday afternoon in Covington, WSB Radio reports.
Linda and Danny Long, a couple in their late 50s to early 60s, remain at Grady Memorial Hospital after their Honda Pilot was struck by a CSX train.
The incident occurred around 1 p.m. at the intersection of U.S. 278 and Ga. 81 in Covington.
The couple was attempting to go around a crossbar at a railroad crossing when the accident happened. The car was hit on the passenger side and landed upside down, 50 yards away from the collision.
