The Atlanta Journal-Constitution

If you own property in north Fulton County and haven't got your tax bill, it may be because the tax assessor sent it to the wrong ZIP code.

The county announced Friday it is reissuing about 4,000 property tax bills that were returned to the county because they contained outdated ZIP codes in north Fulton. The Postal Serivce had changed the codes but the county had not updated the Board of Assessors' database, the county said in a press release.

The affected address are in portions of 30004, 30022, 30076 and 30201 which are now all a part of ZIP code 30009.

The county said it has now updated its database. For more information on the Fulton County Board of Assessors, log on to www.fultonassessor.org.
