Suspicious package a false alarm in SW Atlanta

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution

Atlanta police were investigating a suspicious package Tuesday afternoon at the intersection of Cleveland Avenue and Old Hapeville Road, near I-75. But it turned out to be a false alarm.

MARTA buses were temporarily re-routed from the area, according to Sgt. Gregory Lyon with Atlanta police.

No further information was available.
