Slope work to close part of Lake Forrest Drive

Portions of Lake Forrest Drive in Sandy Springs will be closed Friday to conduct emergency slope maintenance.

To stabilize the slope, some trees will be removed along the street. As a result, Lake Forrest Drive will be closed to through traffic from Stewart Drive and Maryeanna Drive from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Detours will be marked to assist travel through the area.

Motorists can expect delays and are encouraged to avoid the area.
