Pre-k at 20; festivities continue

Fifteen programs that have been part of Georgia pre-k since its creation 20 years ago will be recognized Tuesday night.The Georgia Early Education Alliance for Ready Students and Fernbank Museum of National History will host the event at 6 p.m. at the museum at 767 Clifton Road NE, Atlanta. Participants will include: Stephanie Blank and Mindy Binderman, GEEARS chair and executive director, respectively; Susan Neugent, president & CEO, Fernbank Museum; Bobby Cagle, commissioner of Bright from the Start: Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning; and Susan Adams, assistant commissioner for Georgi pre-k.
