A Roswell drug bust Thursday produced five arrests, several firearms, an assortment of narcotics and nearly $30,000 in cash.
According to a news release from Roswell police, the bust, in the 12100 block of King Road, was the culmination of a four month investigation. Among those arrested were Patrick Jankowski, 47, of Roswell and his son, Angelo Jankowski, 19, of Marietta. They face several felony charges, including possession and distribution of narcotics. Patrick Jankowski is also charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Also arrested in the bust was Riley Bloomer, 20, and Amanda Kurkjian, 19, both of Roswell. Both face several felony charges including possession and distribution of narcotics. Leon Kurkjian, 62, of Roswell, was also arrested, but not in connection with the drug bust. Kurkjian had an unrelated outstanding warrant in Gwinnett County.
The bust was a multi-agency effort, including Roswell and Johns Creek police, Drug Enforcement Administration agents, various drug task forces and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.
Among the seized items were 11 guns, five vehicles, more than three pounds of marijuana and more than 700 generic Xanax pills.
