Update on Atlanta superintendent search planned

The Atlanta Board of Education plans to discuss the school system’s policies, budget and superintendent search at a series of committee meetings this month.

The first meeting on Thursday will provide an update on the effort to find a leader to replace Superintendent Erroll Davis.

Other scheduled meetings include the Policy Review Committee on Monday, the Audit Commission on Oct. 16 and the Budget Commission on Oct. 22.
