By Laura Diamond

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution

The University of Georgia will offer a study abroad program in Germany that will allow students to work on their language skills while learning about environmentalism.

Classes will be taught at University of Freiburg. Freiburg is one of Germany greenest cities and is regarded for sustainable living and urban design, UGA officials said.

Officials announced the summer program Friday. It will be offered through the Germanic and Slavic studies department in the Franklin College of Arts and Sciences.

The program will be open to all students, regardless of their fluency in German.
