Stabbing victim found in Duluth parking lot

By Mike Morris

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution

Duluth police are investigating the stabbing death of a man found Thursday morning in a parking lot on Pleasant Hill Road.

Police Major Don Woodruff said a Bank of America customer walking through the parking lot between the bank and an Aldi grocery store around 7 a.m. discovered the man lying in the lot.

“He was alive at the time,” Woodruff said. “He died either en route or at the hospital.”

The identity of the victim, an Asian man who Woodruff said appeared to be about 30 years old, has not been released.

“We’re looking at what video might be available from the businesses around there,” Woodruff told AM750 and 95.5FM News/Talk WSB Radio.
