A: U.S. Army Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl, 26, is believed to be held by the Haqqani network, an insurgent group affiliated with the Taliban in northwestern Pakistan, according to published reports. Bergdahl disappeared from his base in Afghanistan on June 30, 2009. He is the only U.S. prisoner of war from the Afghan conflict, according to The Associated Press.
