The throngs of electronic dance music fans flocking to a south Fulton County farm for this weekend’s inaugural TomorrowWorld festival will find picture-perfect fall weather, with sunny skies forecast through Sunday.

Expect highs in the mid-70s, and overnight lows in the upper 50s, said Channel 2 meteorologist Brad Nitz.

That dry forecast will also be welcome news for Braves fans headed to Turner Field for the final regular season series against the Philadelphia Phillies, and for Georgia Bulldog fans trekking to Athens for Saturday’s 3:30 game against LSU.

Other weekend events include Morehouse College’s Saturday night game against Edward Waters College and Sunday night’s Falcons-Patriots matchup at the Georgia Dome.

Also in town this weekend, the BET Hip Hop Awards, hosted by Snoop Dogg, will be taped Saturday at the Boisfeuillet Jones Atlanta Civic Center for airing later in the fall.

The state Department of Transportation will be closing lanes on I-285 eastbound between Roswell Road and Ashford Dunwoody Road during the overnight hours this weekend, but major backups aren’t expected.

DOT spokesman Mark McKinnon said many of the surface streets in the vicinity of Buford Highway, Sidney Marcus Boulevard and Cheshire Bridge Road will have lane closures for work related to the I-85/Ga. 400 interchange project.

Various sections of the I-75 northbound HOV lane will be closed all weekend from Langford Parkway to Mount Paran Road for overhead sign work, according to the DOT.

In Douglas County, guardrail repair work will have the left lane of I-20 westbound between Lee Road and Ga. 92 closed from 8:15 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday.
