By Tammy Joyner

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution

Christmas in the Park will be at the Morrow Center at the southeast corner of Southlake Mall from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. Dec. 1. This year’s event includes church choirs, a professional caroling group, games, booths for local businesses and restaurants and the “Christmas Carnival” provided by McNair Amusements. The event will be capped with attendees getting to share a dinner with Santa Clause and a Chick-fil-A cow that is dressed to look like Santa Clause. City officials will then light the 40-foot Christmas tree in front of the Morrow Center.
