Machine shop workers discover body

By Alan Judd

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution

The victim of an apparent homicide was discovered in an upright, seated position early Saturday, Atlanta police said.

Employees at Bankhead Enterprises, a machine shop on Donald Lee Hollowell Parkway, found the man's body behind their building shortly before 9 a.m. Saturday. He apparently had been struck in the head, police said.

The man has been identified as 33-year-old Marion Jones, the Fulton County Medical Examiner's Office said Sunday. He was from the Atlanta area, officials said.

Police have no suspects in his death.
