You'll be hearing a lot of "Pomp and Circumstance" this month as Georgia's colleges and universities hold commencement ceremonies. Here are some of the events, along with their commencement speakers.

May 9

Agnes Scott College: Helene Gayle, president and CEO of the humanitarian organization CARE; Georgia State University: Louis Sullivan, founding dean and first president of Morehouse School of Medicine; University of Georgia: U.S. Rep. Jack Kingston (R-Savannah).

Monday

Emory University: Vicente Fox, former president of Mexico

Saturday

Southern Catholic College: Archbishop Emeritus John Donoghue

May 17

Morehouse College: actress Cicely Tyson and Henry Louis Gates Jr., author and critic who teaches at Harvard University; Spelman College: Cornel West, an activist and author who teaches at Princeton University.

May 29

Georgia Gwinnett College: U.S. Army Gen. David Petraeus

May 30

Savannah College of Art and Design: actress Glenn Close
