Gwinnett recycling event Saturday in Lawrenceville

Gwinnett County will host a paper shredding and electronics recycling event from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday at Coolray Field, 2500 Buford Drive, Lawrenceville.

Residents can bring confidential documents for shredding, plus electronics and tires for recycling. The services are free, though there is a $10 charge for televisions. The event also will feature children’s activities, free food while it lasts and information about Gwinnett’s residential solid waste and recycling program.
