The Atlanta Journal-Constitution

More than two dozen residents were displaced by a fire Wednesday that heavily damaged an apartment complex near Norcross.

The fire broke out shortly before noon in the 1300 block of Seasons Parkway, according to Gwinnett fire Lt. Colin S. Rhoden.

Arriving units found the upper floor of the two-story building fully engulfed in flames, the roof about to collapse.

Rhoden said it took firefighters about 45 minutes to bring the fire under control.

No injuries were reported, and Rhoden said that a family dog that was reported missing was rescued by firefighters and reunited with its owners.

Eight units sustained either fire or water damage, displacing 19 adults and 7 children.
