Thanks to a little scratch-off ticket, an Americus woman has big decisions to make.

Shaquita Mitchell won a $3 million top prize playing Millionaire Jingle Jumbo Bucks, the Georgia Lottery announced Tuesday.

The 33-year-old grocery store cashier claimed her prize at the lottery’s district office in Columbus on Monday.

She bought the lucky ticket at Danfair Express on West Forsyth Street in Americus when she stopped to get gas.

“I scratched it when I went back to my car,” she said in the news release. “I couldn’t believe it.”

The clerk confirmed the good news when Mitchell went back inside the store.

“I said, ‘This can’t be true,’ ” Mitchell recalled. “The clerk said, ‘Yes! You have won $3 million.’”
