Georgia State student robbed at gunpoint

A Georgia State University student was robbed at gunpoint near the Downtown Atlanta campus.

The victim told University Police that he was approached by a man on Auburn Avenue under the I-75/85 bridge around 3:15 p.m. last Friday.

The student said the suspect pointed what appeared to be a gun in his back and demanded his wallet.

The robber was described as a light-skinned black man in his early 20s, about 6-0 with slender build and wearing a black hooded shirt and black track pants.
