Doraville moving on hire of city manager

By April Hunt

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution

A search firm working with Doraville to hire its first city manager will present a list of semi-finalists this week.

City officials expect to interview candidates over the next month and hire a manager by early next year.

Voters approved switching to a professional manager form of government last year. The manager will handle daily government operations, tasks that had been held by a full-time mayor.
