DeKalb senior group names new directors

By April Hunt

Senior Connections, a nonprofit that serves senior citizens in DeKalb and Fulton counties, recently added two new members to its board of directors.

Alijah Brown, a senior living and customer service executive formerly with Atlanta’s City Housing Authority, and John Duran, the founder and owner of the planning firm Strategic Execution Associates.

The group also named Kevin Isakson, the marketing director at Isakson Living, and Trish McFadin, the government affairs director at SouthStar Energy, to a new advisory council designed to encourage more community leaders to volunteer.
