DeKalb library hosting "Star Wars" party

The Hairston Crossing branch of the DeKalb Public Library will hold a Summer of Star Wars party this weekend at the library.

Attendees can have their pictures taken with Storm Troopers, create origami Yodas and participate in a costume contest at the event.

The party runs from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, June 30 at the branch, 4911 Redan Road, near Stone Mountain. The event is free and open to the public, but the library asks that groups of five or more reserve space by calling 404-508-7170.
